Et nunc hæc dicit Dominus/ creans te, Jacob,/ et formans te, Israël :/ Noli timere, quia redemi te,/ et vocavi te nomine tuo : meus es tu./
- Ainsi parle maintenant l'Éternel, qui t'a créé, ô Jacob! Celui qui t'a formé, ô Israël! Ne crains rien, car je te rachète, Je t'appelle par ton nom: tu es à moi! (Ⅱ) - But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Cum transieris per aquas, tecum ero,/ et flumina non operient te ;/ cum ambulaveris in igne, non combureris, et flamma non ardebit in te./
- Si tu traverses les eaux, je serai avec toi; Et les fleuves, ils ne te submergeront point; Si tu marches dans le feu, tu ne te brûleras pas, Et la flamme ne t'embrasera pas. (Ⅱ) - When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐὰν διαβαίνη̨ς δι' ὕδατος μετὰ σου̃ εἰμι καὶ ποταμοὶ οὐ συγκλύσουσίν σε καὶ ἐὰν διέλθη̨ς διὰ πυρός οὐ μὴ κατακαυθη̨̃ς φλὸξ οὐ κατακαύσει σε (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃43 כי תעבר במים אתך אני ובנהרות לא ישטפוך כי תלך במו אש לא תכוה ולהבה לא תבער בך (Ⅴ)

Quia ego Dominus Deus tuus,/ Sanctus Israël, salvator tuus,/ dedi propitiationem tuam Ægyptum,/ Æthopiam, et Saba, pro te./
- Car je suis l'Éternel, ton Dieu, Le Saint d'Israël, ton sauveur; Je donne l'Égypte pour ta rançon, L'Éthiopie et Saba à ta place. (Ⅱ) - For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Ex quo honorabilis factus es in oculis meis,/ et gloriosus, ego dilexi te,/ et dabo homines pro te,/ et populos pro anima tua./
- Parce que tu as du prix à mes yeux, Parce que tu es honoré et que je t'aime, Je donne des hommes à ta place, Et des peuples pour ta vie. (Ⅱ) - Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. - Tous ceux qui s'appellent de mon nom, Et que j'ai créés pour ma gloire, Que j'ai formés et que j'ai faits. (Ⅱ) - Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Omnes gentes congregatæ sunt simul,/ et collectæ sunt tribus./ Quis in vobis annuntiet istud,/ et quæ prima sunt audire nos faciet ?/ Dent testes eorum, justificentur,/ et audiant, et dicant : Vere./
- Que toutes les nations se rassemblent, Et que les peuples se réunissent. Qui d'entre eux a annoncé ces choses? Lesquels nous ont fait entendre les premières prédictions? Qu'ils produisent leurs témoins et établissent leur droit; Qu'on écoute et qu'on dise: C'est vrai! (Ⅱ) - Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth. Vos testes mei, dicit Dominus,/ et servus meus quem elegi :/ ut sciatis, et credatis mihi,/ et intelligatis quia ego ipse sum ;/ ante me non est formatus Deus,/ et post me non erit./
- Vous êtes mes témoins, dit l'Éternel, Vous, et mon serviteur que j'ai choisi, Afin que vous le sachiez, Que vous me croyiez et compreniez que c'est moi: Avant moi il n'a point été formé de Dieu, Et après moi il n'y en aura point. (Ⅱ) - Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. - Ainsi parle l'Éternel, Votre rédempteur, le Saint d'Israël: A cause de vous, j'envoie l'ennemi contre Babylone, Et je fais descendre tous les fuyards, Même les Chaldéens, sur les navires dont ils tiraient gloire. (Ⅱ) - Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. (Ⅱ) - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Glorificabit me bestia agri,/ dracones, et struthiones :/ quia dedi in deserto aquas,/ flumina in invio,/ ut darem potum populo meo, electo meo./
- Les bêtes des champs me glorifieront, Les chacals et les autruches, Parce que j'aurai mis des eaux dans le désert, Des fleuves dans la solitude, Pour abreuver mon peuple, mon élu. (Ⅱ) - The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. (Ⅲ) - εὐλογήσει με τὰ θηρία του̃ ἀγρου̃ σειρη̃νες καὶ θυγατέρες στρουθω̃ν ὅτι ἔδωκα ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ ὕδωρ καὶ ποταμοὺς ἐν τη̨̃ ἀνύδρω̨ ποτίσαι τὸ γένος μου τὸ ἐκλεκτόν (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃43 תכבדני חית השדה תנים ובנות יענה כי נתתי במדבר מים נהרות בישימן להשקות עמי בחירי (Ⅴ)

- Et tu ne m'as pas invoqué, ô Jacob! Car tu t'es lassé de moi, ô Israël! (Ⅱ) - But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel. (Ⅲ) - οὐ νυ̃ν ἐκάλεσά σε Ιακωβ οὐδὲ κοπια̃σαί σε ἐποίησα Ισραηλ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃43 ולא אתי קראת יעקב כי יגעת בי ישראל (Ⅴ)

Non obtulisti mihi arietem holocausti tui,/ et victimis tuis non glorificasti me ;/ non te servire feci in oblatione,/ nec laborem tibi præbui in thure./
- Tu ne m'as pas offert tes brebis en holocauste, Et tu ne m'as pas honoré par tes sacrifices; Je ne t'ai point tourmenté pour des offrandes, Et je ne t'ai point fatigué pour de l'encens. (Ⅱ) - Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense. (Ⅲ) - οὐκ ἐμοὶ πρόβατα τη̃ς ὁλοκαρπώσεώς σου οὐδὲ ἐν ται̃ς θυσίαις σου ἐδόξασάς με οὐδὲ ἔγκοπον ἐποίησά σε ἐν λιβάνω̨ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃43 לא הביאת לי שה עלתיך וזבחיך לא כבדתני לא העבדתיך במנחה ולא הוגעתיך בלבונה (Ⅴ)

Non emisti mihi argento calamum,/ et adipe victimarum tuarum non inebriasti me :/ verumtamen servire me fecisti in peccatis tuis ;/ præbuisti mihi laborem in iniquitatibus tuis./
- Tu n'as pas à prix d'argent acheté pour moi des aromates, Et tu ne m'as pas rassasié de la graisse de tes sacrifices; Mais tu m'as tourmenté par tes péchés, Tu m'as fatigué par tes iniquités. (Ⅱ) - Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities. (Ⅲ) - οὐδὲ ἐκτήσω μοι ἀργυρίου θυμίαμα οὐδὲ τὸ στέαρ τω̃ν θυσιω̃ν σου ἐπεθύμησα ἀλλὰ ἐν ται̃ς ἁμαρτίαις σου καὶ ἐν ται̃ς ἀδικίαις σου προέστην σου (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃43 לא קנית לי בכסף קנה וחלב זבחיך לא הרויתני אך העבדתני בחטאותיך הוגעתני בעונתיך ס (Ⅴ)

- C'est moi, moi qui efface tes transgressions pour l'amour de moi, Et je ne me souviendrai plus de tes péchés. (Ⅱ) - I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Ⅲ) - ἐγώ εἰμι ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ἐξαλείφων τὰς ἀνομίας σου καὶ οὐ μὴ μνησθήσομαι (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃43 אנכי אנכי הוא מחה פשעיך למעני וחטאתיך לא אזכר (Ⅴ)

Reduc me in memoriam, et judicemur simul :/ narra si quid habes ut justificeris./
- Réveille ma mémoire, plaidons ensemble, Parle toi-même, pour te justifier. (Ⅱ) - Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. (Ⅲ) - σὺ δὲ μνήσθητι καὶ κριθω̃μεν λέγε σὺ τὰς ἀνομίας σου πρω̃τος ἵνα δικαιωθη̨̃ς (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃43 הזכירני נשפטה יחד ספר אתה למען תצדק (Ⅴ)

- Ton premier père a péché, Et tes interprètes se sont rebellés contre moi. (Ⅱ) - Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me. (Ⅲ) - οἱ πατέρες ὑμω̃ν πρω̃τοι καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτω̃ν ἠνόμησαν εἰς ἐμέ (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃43 אביך הראשון חטא ומליציך פשעו בי (Ⅴ)

et contaminavi principes sanctos ;/ dedi ad internecionem Jacob,/ et Israël in blasphemiam.]
- C'est pourquoi j'ai traité en profanes les chefs du sanctuaire, J'ai livré Jacob à la destruction, Et Israël aux outrages. (Ⅱ) - Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
