And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
- Il me fit voir Josué, le souverain sacrificateur, debout devant l'ange de l'Éternel, et Satan qui se tenait à sa droite pour l'accuser. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι 'Ιησου̃ν τὸν ἱερέα τὸν μέγαν ἑστω̃τα πρὸ προσώπου ἀγγέλου κυρίου καὶ ὁ διάβολος εἱστήκει ἐκ δεξιω̃ν αὐτου̃ του̃ ἀντικει̃σθαι αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Et ostendit mihi Dominus Jesum sacerdotem magnum, stantem coram angelo Domini : et Satan stabat a dextris ejus ut adversaretur ei. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃3 ויראני את יהושע הכהן הגדול עמד לפני מלאך יהוה והשטן עמד על ימינו לשטנו (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
- L'Éternel dit à Satan: Que l'Éternel te réprime, Satan! que l'Éternel te réprime, lui qui a choisi Jérusalem! N'est-ce pas là un tison arraché du feu? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς τὸν διάβολον ἐπιτιμήσαι κύριος ἐν σοί διάβολε καὶ ἐπιτιμήσαι κύριος ἐν σοὶ ὁ ἐκλεξάμενος τὴν Ιερουσαλημ οὐκ ἰδοὺ του̃το ὡς δαλὸς ἐξεσπασμένος ἐκ πυρός (Ⅲ) - Et dixit Dominus ad Satan : Increpet Dominus in te, Satan ! et increpet Dominus in te, qui elegit Jerusalem ! numquid non iste torris est erutus de igne ? (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃3 ויאמר יהוה אל השטן יגער יהוה בך השטן ויגער יהוה בך הבחר בירושלם הלוא זה אוד מצל מאש (Ⅴ)

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
- Or Josué était couvert de vêtements sales, et il se tenait debout devant l'ange. (Ⅱ) - καὶ 'Ιησου̃ς ἠ̃ν ἐνδεδυμένος ἱμάτια ῥυπαρὰ καὶ εἱστήκει πρὸ προσώπου του̃ ἀγγέλου (Ⅲ) - Et Jesus erat indutus vestibus sordidis, et stabat ante faciem angeli. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃3 ויהושע היה לבש בגדים צואים ועמד לפני המלאך (Ⅴ)

And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
- L'ange, prenant la parole, dit à ceux qui étaient devant lui: Otez-lui les vêtements sales! Puis il dit à Josué: Vois, je t'enlève ton iniquité, et je te revêts d'habits de fête. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπεκρίθη καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς τοὺς ἑστηκότας πρὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ λέγων ἀφέλετε τὰ ἱμάτια τὰ ῥυπαρὰ ἀπ' αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτόν ἰδοὺ ἀφή̨ρηκα τὰς ἀνομίας σου καὶ ἐνδύσατε αὐτὸν ποδήρη (Ⅲ) - Qui respondit, et ait ad eos qui stabant coram se, dicens : Auferte vestimenta sordida ab eo. Et dixit ad eum : Ecce abstuli a te iniquitatem tuam, et indui te mutatoriis. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃3 ויען ויאמר אל העמדים[C] לפניו לאמר הסירו הבגדים הצאים מעליו ויאמר אליו ראה העברתי מעליך עונך והלבש אתך מחלצות (Ⅴ)

And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
- Je dis: Qu'on mette sur sa tête un turban pur! Et ils mirent un turban pur sur sa tête, et ils lui mirent des vêtements. L'ange de l'Éternel était là. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπίθετε κίδαριν καθαρὰν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ περιέβαλον αὐτὸν ἱμάτια καὶ ἐπέθηκαν κίδαριν καθαρὰν ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου εἱστήκει (Ⅲ) - Et dixit : Ponite cidarim mundam super caput ejus. Et posuerunt cidarim mundam super caput ejus, et induerunt eum vestibus : et angelus Domini stabat. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃3 ואמר ישימו צניף טהור על ראשו וישימו הצניף הטהור על ראשו וילבשהו בגדים ומלאך יהוה עמד (Ⅴ)

And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
- L'ange de l'Éternel fit à Josué cette déclaration: (Ⅱ) - καὶ διεμαρτύρατο ὁ ἄγγελος κυρίου πρὸς 'Ιησου̃ν λέγων (Ⅲ) - Et contestabatur angelus Domini Jesum, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃3 ויעד מלאך יהוה ביהושע לאמר (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées: Si tu marches dans mes voies et si tu observes mes ordres, tu jugeras ma maison et tu garderas mes parvis, et je te donnerai libre accès parmi ceux qui sont ici. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐὰν ἐν ται̃ς ὁδοι̃ς μου πορεύη̨ καὶ ἐὰν τὰ προστάγματά μου φυλάξη̨ς καὶ σὺ διακρινει̃ς τὸν οἰ̃κόν μου καὶ ἐὰν διαφυλάξη̨ς καί γε τὴν αὐλήν μου καὶ δώσω σοι ἀναστρεφομένους ἐν μέσω̨ τω̃ν ἑστηκότων τούτων (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum :/ Si in viis meis ambulaveris,/ et custodiam meam custodieris,/ tu quoque judicabis domum meam,/ et custodies atria mea,/ et dabo tibi ambulantes de his qui nunc hic assistunt./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃3 כה אמר יהוה צבאות אם בדרכי תלך ואם את משמרתי תשמר וגם אתה תדין את ביתי וגם תשמר את חצרי ונתתי לך מהלכים בין העמדים האלה (Ⅴ)

Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
- Écoute donc, Josué, souverain sacrificateur, toi et tes compagnons qui sont assis devant toi! car ce sont des hommes qui serviront de signes. Voici, je ferai venir mon serviteur, le germe. (Ⅱ) - ἄκουε δή 'Ιησου̃ ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ μέγας σὺ καὶ οἱ πλησίον σου οἱ καθήμενοι πρὸ προσώπου σου διότι ἄνδρες τερατοσκόποι εἰσί διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἄγω τὸν δου̃λόν μου 'Ανατολήν (Ⅲ) - Audi, Jesu sacerdos magne,/ tu et amici tui, qui habitant coram te,/ quia viri portendentes sunt :/ ecce enim ego adducam servum meum Orientem./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃3 שמע נא יהושע הכהן הגדול אתה ורעיך הישבים לפניך כי אנשי מופת המה כי הנני מביא את עבדי צמח (Ⅴ)

For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
- Car voici, pour ce qui est de la pierre que j'ai placée devant Josué, il y a sept yeux sur cette seule pierre; voici, je graverai moi-même ce qui doit y être gravé, dit l'Éternel des armées; et j'enlèverai l'iniquité de ce pays, en un jour. (Ⅱ) - διότι ὁ λίθος ὃν ἔδωκα πρὸ προσώπου 'Ιησου̃ ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν ἕνα ἑπτὰ ὀφθαλμοί εἰσιν ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ὀρύσσω βόθρον λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ καὶ ψηλαφήσω πα̃σαν τὴν ἀδικίαν τη̃ς γη̃ς ἐκείνης ἐν ἡμέρα̨ μια̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Quia ecce lapis quem dedi coram Jesu :/ super lapidem unum septem oculi sunt :/ ecce ego cælabo sculpturam ejus, ait Dominus exercituum,/ et auferam iniquitatem terræ illius in die una./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃3 כי הנה האבן אשר נתתי לפני יהושע על אבן אחת שבעה עינים הנני מפתח פתחה נאם יהוה צבאות ומשתי את עון הארץ ההיא ביום אחד (Ⅴ)

In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
- En ce jour-là, dit l'Éternel des armées, vous vous inviterez les uns les autres sous la vigne et sous le figuier. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ συγκαλέσετε ἕκαστος τὸν πλησίον αὐτου̃ ὑποκάτω ἀμπέλου καὶ ὑποκάτω συκη̃ς (Ⅲ) - In die illa, dicit Dominus exercituum,/ vocabit vir amicum suum subter vitem et subter ficum.] (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃3 ביום ההוא נאם יהוה צבאות תקראו איש לרעהו אל תחת גפן ואל תחת תאנה (Ⅴ)
