9. 1  
The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the LORD.
- Oracle, parole de l'Éternel sur le pays de Hadrac. Elle s'arrête sur Damas, Car l'Éternel a l'oeil sur les hommes Comme sur toutes les tribus d'Israël; (Ⅱ)
- λη̃μμα λόγου κυρίου ἐν γη̨̃ Σεδραχ καὶ Δαμασκου̃ θυσία αὐτου̃ διότι κύριος ἐφορα̨̃ ἀνθρώπους καὶ πάσας φυλὰς του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- Onus verbi Domini in terra Hadrach/ et Damasci requiei ejus,/ quia Domini est oculus hominis et omnium tribuum Israël./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃9   משא דבר יהוה בארץ חדרך ודמשק מנחתו כי ליהוה עין אדם וכל שבטי ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 2  
And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.
- Elle s'arrête aussi sur Hamath, à la frontière de Damas, Sur Tyr et Sidon, malgré toute leur sagesse. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ Εμαθ ἐν τοι̃ς ὁρίοις αὐτη̃ς Τύρος καὶ Σιδών διότι ἐφρόνησαν σφόδρα (Ⅲ)
- Emath quoque in terminis ejus, et Tyrus, et Sidon :/ assumpserunt quippe sibi sapientiam valde./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃9   וגם חמת תגבל בה צר וצידון כי חכמה מאד ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 3  
And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.
- Tyr s'est bâti une forteresse; Elle a amassé l'argent comme la poussière, Et l'or comme la boue des rues. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν Τύρος ὀχυρώματα ἑαυτη̨̃ καὶ ἐθησαύρισεν ἀργύριον ὡς χου̃ν καὶ συνήγαγεν χρυσίον ὡς πηλὸν ὁδω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Et ædificavit Tyrus munitionem suam,/ et coacervavit argentum quasi humum,/ et aurum ut lutum platearum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃9   ותבן צר מצור לה ותצבר כסף כעפר וחרוץ כטיט חוצות ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 4  
Behold, the LORD will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.
- Voici, le Seigneur s'en emparera, Il précipitera sa puissance dans la mer, Et elle sera consumée par le feu. (Ⅱ)
- διὰ του̃το κύριος κληρονομήσει αὐτὴν καὶ πατάξει εἰς θάλασσαν δύναμιν αὐτη̃ς καὶ αὕτη ἐν πυρὶ καταναλωθήσεται (Ⅲ)
- Ecce Dominus possidebit eam :/ et percutiet in mari fortitudinem ejus,/ et hæc igni devorabitur./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃9   הנה אדני יורשנה והכה בים חילה והיא באש תאכל ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 5  
Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
- Askalon le verra, et elle sera dans la crainte; Gaza aussi, et un violent tremblement la saisira; Ékron aussi, car son espoir sera confondu. Le roi disparaîtra de Gaza, Et Askalon ne sera plus habitée. (Ⅱ)
- ὄψεται 'Ασκαλὼν καὶ φοβηθήσεται καὶ Γάζα καὶ ὀδυνηθήσεται σφόδρα καὶ Ακκαρων ὅτι ἠ̨σχύνθη ἐπὶ τω̨̃ παραπτώματι αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἀπολει̃ται βασιλεὺς ἐκ Γάζης καὶ 'Ασκαλὼν οὐ μὴ κατοικηθη̨̃ (Ⅲ)
- Videbit Ascalon, et timebit,/ et Gaza, et dolebit nimis,/ et Accaron, quoniam confusa est spes ejus :/ et peribit rex de Gaza,/ et Ascalon non habitabitur./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃9   תרא אשקלון ותירא ועזה ותחיל מאד ועקרון כי הביש מבטה ואבד מלך מעזה ואשקלון לא תשב ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 6  
And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
- L'étranger s'établira dans Asdod, Et j'abattrai l'orgueil des Philistins. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἀλλογενει̃ς ἐν 'Αζώτω̨ καὶ καθελω̃ ὕβριν ἀλλοφύλων (Ⅲ)
- Et sedebit separator in Azoto,/ et disperdam superbiam Philisthinorum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃9   וישב ממזר באשדוד והכרתי גאון פלשתים ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 7  
And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
- J'ôterai le sang de sa bouche, Et les abominations d'entre ses dents; Lui aussi restera pour notre Dieu; Il sera comme un chef en Juda, Et Ékron sera comme les Jébusiens. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξαρω̃ τὸ αἱ̃μα αὐτω̃ν ἐκ στόματος αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰ βδελύγματα αὐτω̃ν ἐκ μέσου ὀδόντων αὐτω̃ν καὶ ὑπολειφθήσεται καὶ οὑ̃τος τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ ἡμω̃ν καὶ ἔσονται ὡς χιλίαρχος ἐν Ιουδα καὶ Ακκαρων ὡς ὁ Ιεβουσαι̃ος (Ⅲ)
- Et auferam sanguinem ejus de ore ejus,/ et abominationes ejus de medio dentium ejus :/ et relinquetur etiam ipse Deo nostro,/ et erit quasi dux in Juda,/ et Accaron quasi Jebusæus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃9   והסרתי דמיו מפיו ושקציו מבין שניו ונשאר גם הוא לאלהינו והיה כאלף ביהודה ועקרון כיבוסי ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 8  
And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
- Je camperai autour de ma maison pour la défendre contre une armée, Contre les allants et les venants, Et l'oppresseurs ne passera plus près d'eux; Car maintenant mes yeux sont fixés sur elle. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ὑποστήσομαι τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ μου ἀνάστημα του̃ μὴ διαπορεύεσθαι μηδὲ ἀνακάμπτειν καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐπέλθη̨ ἐπ' αὐτοὺς οὐκέτι ἐξελαύνων διότι νυ̃ν ἑώρακα ἐν τοι̃ς ὀφθαλμοι̃ς μου (Ⅲ)
- Et circumdabo domum meam/ ex his qui militant mihi euntes et revertentes :/ et non transibit super eos ultra exactor,/ quia nunc vidi in oculis meis.]\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃9   וחניתי לביתי מצבה מעבר ומשב ולא יעבר עליהם עוד נגש כי עתה ראיתי בעיני ס‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 9  
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
- Sois transportée d'allégresse, fille de Sion! Pousse des cris de joie, fille de Jérusalem! Voici, ton roi vient à toi; Il est juste et victorieux, Il est humble et monté sur un âne, Sur un âne, le petit d'une ânesse. (Ⅱ)
- χαι̃ρε σφόδρα θύγατερ Σιων κήρυσσε θύγατερ Ιερουσαλημ ἰδοὺ ὁ βασιλεύς σου ἔρχεταί σοι δίκαιος καὶ σώ̨ζων αὐτός πραὺ̈ς καὶ ἐπιβεβηκὼς ἐπὶ ὑποζύγιον καὶ πω̃λον νέον (Ⅲ)
- Exsulta satis, filia Sion ;/ jubila, filia Jerusalem :/ ecce rex tuus veniet tibi justus, et salvator :/ ipse pauper, et ascendens super asinam/ et super pullum filium asinæ./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃9   גילי מאד בת ציון הריעי בת ירושלם הנה מלכך יבוא לך צדיק ונושע הוא עני ורכב על חמור ועל עיר בן אתנות ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 10  
And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
- Je détruirai les chars d'Éphraïm, Et les chevaux de Jérusalem; Et les arcs de guerre seront anéantis. Il annoncera la paix aux nations, Et il dominera d'une mer à l'autre, Depuis le fleuve jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσει ἅρματα ἐξ Εφραιμ καὶ ἵππον ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται τόξον πολεμικόν καὶ πλη̃θος καὶ εἰρήνη ἐξ ἐθνω̃ν καὶ κατάρξει ὑδάτων ἕως θαλάσσης καὶ ποταμω̃ν διεκβολὰς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)
- Et disperdam quadrigam ex Ephraim,/ et equum de Jerusalem,/ et dissipabitur arcus belli :/ et loquetur pacem gentibus,/ et potestas ejus a mari usque ad mare,/ et a fluminibus usque ad fines terræ./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃9   והכרתי רכב מאפרים וסוס מירושלם ונכרתה קשת מלחמה ודבר שלום לגוים ומשלו מים עד ים ומנהר עד אפסי ארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 11  
As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
- Et pour toi, à cause de ton alliance scellée par le sang, Je retirerai tes captifs de la fosse où il n'y a pas d'eau. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ σὺ ἐν αἵματι διαθήκης ἐξαπέστειλας δεσμίους σου ἐκ λάκκου οὐκ ἔχοντος ὕδωρ (Ⅲ)
- Tu quoque in sanguine testamenti tui/ emisisti vinctos tuos de lacu in quo non est aqua./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃9   גם את בדם בריתך שלחתי אסיריך‪[V]‬ מבור אין מים בו ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 12  
Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
- Retournez à la forteresse, captifs pleins d'espérance! Aujourd'hui encore je le déclare, Je te rendrai le double. (Ⅱ)
- καθήσεσθε ἐν ὀχυρώματι δέσμιοι τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς καὶ ἀντὶ μια̃ς ἡμέρας παροικεσίας σου διπλα̃ ἀνταποδώσω σοι (Ⅲ)
- Convertimini ad munitionem, vincti spei :/ hodie quoque annuntians duplicia reddam tibi./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃9   שובו לבצרון אסירי התקוה גם היום מגיד משנה אשיב לך ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 13  
When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.
- Car je bande Juda comme un arc, Je m'arme d'Éphraïm comme d'un arc, Et je soulèverai tes enfants, ô Sion, Contre tes enfants, ô Javan! Je te rendrai pareille à l'épée d'un vaillant homme. (Ⅱ)
- διότι ἐνέτεινά σε Ιουδα ἐμαυτω̨̃ τόξον ἔπλησα τὸν Εφραιμ καὶ ἐπεγερω̃ τὰ τέκνα σου Σιων ἐπὶ τὰ τέκνα τω̃ν 'Ελλήνων καὶ ψηλαφήσω σε ὡς ῥομφαίαν μαχητου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Quoniam extendi mihi Judam quasi arcum :/ implevi Ephraim :/ et suscitabo filios tuos, Sion,/ super filios tuos, Græcia :/ et ponam te quasi gladium fortium./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃9   כי דרכתי לי יהודה קשת מלאתי אפרים ועוררתי בניך ציון על בניך יון ושמתיך כחרב גבור ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 14  
And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
- L'Éternel au-dessus d'eux apparaîtra, Et sa flèche partira comme l'éclair; Le Seigneur, l'Éternel, sonnera de la trompette, Il s'avancera dans l'ouragan du midi. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ κύριος ἔσται ἐπ' αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐξελεύσεται ὡς ἀστραπὴ βολίς καὶ κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐν σάλπιγγι σαλπιει̃ καὶ πορεύσεται ἐν σάλω̨ ἀπειλη̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et Dominus Deus super eos videbitur,/ et exibit ut fulgur jaculum ejus :/ et Dominus Deus in tuba canet,/ et vadet in turbine austri./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃9   ויהוה עליהם יראה ויצא כברק חצו ואדני יהוה בשופר יתקע והלך בסערות תימן ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 15  
The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.
- L'Éternel des armées les protégera; Ils dévoreront, ils vaincront les pierres de la fronde; Ils boiront, ils seront bruyants comme pris de vin; Ils seront pleins comme une coupe, Comme les coins de l'autel. (Ⅱ)
- κύριος παντοκράτωρ ὑπερασπιει̃ αὐτω̃ν καὶ καταναλώσουσιν αὐτοὺς καὶ καταχώσουσιν αὐτοὺς ἐν λίθοις σφενδόνης καὶ ἐκπίονται αὐτοὺς ὡς οἰ̃νον καὶ πλήσουσιν ὡς φιάλας θυσιαστήριον (Ⅲ)
- Dominus exercituum proteget eos :/ et devorabunt, et subjicient lapidibus fundæ :/ et bibentes inebriabuntur quasi a vino,/ et replebuntur ut phialæ,/ et quasi cornua altaris./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃9   יהוה צבאות יגן עליהם ואכלו וכבשו אבני קלע ושתו המו כמו יין ומלאו כמזרק כזויות מזבח ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 16  
And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
- L'Éternel, leur Dieu, les sauvera en ce jour-là, Comme le troupeau de son peuple; Car ils sont les pierres d'un diadème, Qui brilleront dans son pays. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ σώσει αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ὡς πρόβατα λαὸν αὐτου̃ διότι λίθοι ἅγιοι κυλίονται ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et salvabit eos Dominus Deus eorum in die illa,/ ut gregem populi sui,/ quia lapides sancti elevabuntur super terram ejus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃9   והושיעם יהוה אלהיהם ביום ההוא כצאן עמו כי אבני נזר מתנוססות על אדמתו ‬ (Ⅴ)
9. 17  
For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
- Oh! quelle prospérité pour eux! quelle beauté! Le froment fera croître les jeunes hommes, Et le moût les jeunes filles. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτι εἴ τι ἀγαθὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ εἴ τι καλὸν παρ' αὐτου̃ σι̃τος νεανίσκοις καὶ οἰ̃νος εὐωδιάζων εἰς παρθένους (Ⅲ)
- Quid enim bonum ejus est,/ et quid pulchrum ejus,/ nisi frumentum electorum,/ et vinum germinans virgines ?] (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃9   כי מה טובו ומה יפיו דגן בחורים ותירוש ינובב בתלות ‬ (Ⅴ)
