11. 1

And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

- L'Éternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, et leur dit: (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν καὶ Ααρων λέγων (Ⅲ)

- Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron, dicens : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃11 וידבר יהוה אל משה ואל אהרן לאמר אלהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 2

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.

- Parlez aux enfants d'Israël, et dites: Voici les animaux dont vous mangerez parmi toutes les bêtes qui sont sur la terre. (Ⅱ)

- λαλήσατε τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ λέγοντες ταυ̃τα τὰ κτήνη ἃ φάγεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν κτηνω̃ν τω̃ν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Dicite filiis Israël : Hæc sunt animalia quæ comedere debetis de cunctis animantibus terræ : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃11 דברו אל בני ישראל לאמר זאת החיה אשר תאכלו מכל הבהמה אשר על הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 3

Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

- Vous mangerez de tout animal qui a la corne fendue, le pied fourchu, et qui rumine. (Ⅱ)

- πα̃ν κτη̃νος διχηλου̃ν ὁπλὴν καὶ ὀνυχιστη̃ρας ὀνυχίζον δύο χηλω̃ν καὶ ἀνάγον μηρυκισμὸν ἐν τοι̃ς κτήνεσιν ταυ̃τα φάγεσθε (Ⅲ)

- omne quod habet divisam ungulam, et ruminat in pecoribus, comedetis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃11 כל מפרסת פרסה ושסעת שסע פרסת מעלת גרה בבהמה אתה תאכלו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 4

Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

- Mais vous ne mangerez pas de ceux qui ruminent seulement, ou qui ont la corne fendue seulement. Ainsi, vous ne mangerez pas le chameau, qui rumine, mais qui n'a pas la corne fendue: vous le regarderez comme impur. (Ⅱ)

- πλὴν ἀπὸ τούτων οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἀναγόντων μηρυκισμὸν καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν διχηλούντων τὰς ὁπλὰς καὶ ὀνυχιζόντων ὀνυχιστη̃ρας τὸν κάμηλον ὅτι ἀνάγει μηρυκισμὸν του̃το ὁπλὴν δὲ οὐ διχηλει̃ ἀκάθαρτον του̃το ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Quidquid autem ruminat quidem, et habet ungulam, sed non dividit eam, sicut camelus et cetera, non comedetis illud, et inter immunda reputabitis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃11 אך את זה לא תאכלו ממעלי הגרה וממפריסי הפרסה את הגמל כי מעלה גרה הוא ופרסה איננו מפריס טמא הוא לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 5

And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

- Vous ne mangerez pas le daman, qui rumine, mais qui n'a pas la corne fendue: vous le regarderez comme impur. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὸν δασύποδα ὅτι ἀνάγει μηρυκισμὸν του̃το καὶ ὁπλὴν οὐ διχηλει̃ ἀκάθαρτον του̃το ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Chœrogryllus qui ruminat, ungulamque non dividit, immundus est. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃11 ואת השפן כי מעלה גרה הוא ופרסה לא יפריס טמא הוא לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 6

And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

- Vous ne mangerez pas le lièvre, qui rumine, mais qui n'a pas la corne fendue: vous le regarderez comme impur. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὸν χοιρογρύλλιον ὅτι ἀνάγει μηρυκισμὸν του̃το καὶ ὁπλὴν οὐ διχηλει̃ ἀκάθαρτον του̃το ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Lepus quoque : nam et ipse ruminat, sed ungulam non dividit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃11 ואת הארנבת כי מעלת גרה הוא ופרסה לא הפריסה טמאה הוא לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 7

And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven-footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

- Vous ne mangerez pas le porc, qui a la corne fendue et le pied fourchu, mais qui ne rumine pas: vous le regarderez comme impur. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὸν ὑ̃ν ὅτι διχηλει̃ ὁπλὴν του̃το καὶ ὀνυχίζει ὄνυχας ὁπλη̃ς καὶ του̃το οὐκ ἀνάγει μηρυκισμόν ἀκάθαρτον του̃το ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Et sus : qui cum ungulam dividat, non ruminat. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃11 ואת החזיר כי מפריס פרסה הוא ושסע שסע פרסה והוא גרה לא יגר טמא הוא לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 8

Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

- Vous ne mangerez pas de leur chair, et vous ne toucherez pas leurs corps morts: vous les regarderez comme impurs. (Ⅱ)

- ἀπὸ τω̃ν κρεω̃ν αὐτω̃ν οὐ φάγεσθε καὶ τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν οὐχ ἅψεσθε ἀκάθαρτα ταυ̃τα ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Horum carnibus non vescemini, nec cadavera contingetis, quia immunda sunt vobis.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃11 מבשרם לא תאכלו ובנבלתם לא תגעו טמאים הם לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 9

These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.

- Voici les animaux dont vous mangerez parmi tous ceux qui sont dans les eaux. Vous mangerez de tous ceux qui ont des nageoires et des écailles, et qui sont dans les eaux, soit dans les mers, soit dans les rivières. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ταυ̃τα ἃ φάγεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν ἐν τοι̃ς ὕδασιν πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτοι̃ς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες ἐν τοι̃ς ὕδασιν καὶ ἐν ται̃ς θαλάσσαις καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς χειμάρροις ταυ̃τα φάγεσθε (Ⅲ)

- Hæc sunt quæ gignuntur in aquis, et vesci licitum est : omne quod habet pinnulas et squamas, tam in mari quam in fluminibus et stagnis, comedetis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃11 את זה תאכלו מכל אשר במים כל אשר לו סנפיר וקשקשת במים בימים ובנחלים אתם תאכלו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 10

And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:

- Mais vous aurez en abomination tous ceux qui n'ont pas des nageoires et des écailles, parmi tout ce qui se meut dans les eaux et tout ce qui est vivant dans les eaux, soit dans les mers, soit dans les rivières. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πάντα ὅσα οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοι̃ς πτερύγια οὐδὲ λεπίδες ἐν τω̨̃ ὕδατι ἢ ἐν ται̃ς θαλάσσαις καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς χειμάρροις ἀπὸ πάντων ὡ̃ν ἐρεύγεται τὰ ὕδατα καὶ ἀπὸ πάσης ψυχη̃ς ζώσης τη̃ς ἐν τω̨̃ ὕδατι βδέλυγμά ἐστιν (Ⅲ)

- Quidquid autem pinnulas et squamas non habet, eorum quæ in aquis moventur et vivunt, abominabile vobis, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃11 וכל אשר אין לו סנפיר וקשקשת בימים ובנחלים מכל שרץ המים ומכל נפש החיה אשר במים שקץ הם לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 11

They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination.

- Vous les aurez en abomination, vous ne mangerez pas de leur chair, et vous aurez en abomination leurs corps morts. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ βδελύγματα ἔσονται ὑμι̃ν ἀπὸ τω̃ν κρεω̃ν αὐτω̃ν οὐκ ἔδεσθε καὶ τὰ θνησιμαι̃α αὐτω̃ν βδελύξεσθε (Ⅲ)

- execrandumque erit : carnes eorum non comedetis, et morticina vitabitis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃11 ושקץ יהיו לכם מבשרם לא תאכלו ואת נבלתם תשקצו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 12

Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

- Vous aurez en abomination tous ceux qui, dans les eaux, n'ont pas des nageoires et des écailles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πάντα ὅσα οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοι̃ς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες τω̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ ὕδατι βδέλυγμα του̃τό ἐστιν ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Cuncta quæ non habent pinnulas et squamas in aquis, polluta erunt.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃11 כל אשר אין לו סנפיר וקשקשת במים שקץ הוא לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 13

And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

- Voici, parmi les oiseaux, ceux que vous aurez en abomination, et dont on ne mangera pas: l'aigle, l'orfraie et l'aigle de mer; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ταυ̃τα βδελύξεσθε ἀπὸ τω̃ν πετεινω̃ν καὶ οὐ βρωθήσεται βδέλυγμά ἐστιν τὸν ἀετὸν καὶ τὸν γρύπα καὶ τὸν ἁλιαίετον (Ⅲ)

- Hæc sunt quæ de avibus comedere non debetis, et vitanda sunt vobis : aquilam, et gryphem, et haliæetum, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃11 ואת אלה תשקצו מן העוף לא יאכלו שקץ הם את הנשר ואת הפרס ואת העזניה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 14

And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;

- le milan, l'autour et ce qui est de son espèce; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὸν γύπα καὶ ἰκτι̃να καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- et milvum ac vulturem juxta genus suum, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃11 ואת הדאה ואת האיה למינה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 15

Every raven after his kind;

- le corbeau et toutes ses espèces; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κόρακα καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- et omne corvini generis in similitudinem suam, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃11 את כל ערב למינו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 16

And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,

- l'autruche, le hibou, la mouette, l'épervier et ce qui est de son espèce; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ στρουθὸν καὶ γλαυ̃κα καὶ λάρον καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἱέρακα καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- struthionem, et noctuam, et larum, et accipitrem juxta genus suum : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃11 ואת בת היענה ואת התחמס ואת השחף ואת הנץ למינהו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 17

And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,

- le chat-huant, le plongeon et la chouette; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ νυκτικόρακα καὶ καταρράκτην καὶ ἰ̃βιν (Ⅲ)

- bubonem, et mergulum, et ibin, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃11 ואת הכוס ואת השלך ואת הינשוף ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 18

And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,

- le cygne, le pélican et le cormoran; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πορφυρίωνα καὶ πελεκα̃να καὶ κύκνον (Ⅲ)

- et cygnum, et onocrotalum, et porphyrionem, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃11 ואת התנשמת ואת הקאת ואת הרחם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 19

And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

- la cigogne, le héron et ce qui est de son espèce, la huppe et la chauve-souris. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ γλαυ̃κα καὶ ἐρωδιὸν καὶ χαραδριὸν καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἔποπα καὶ νυκτερίδα (Ⅲ)

- herodionem, et charadrion juxta genus suum, upupam quoque, et vespertilionem.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃11 ואת החסידה האנפה למינה ואת הדוכיפת ואת העטלף ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 20

All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.

- Vous aurez en abomination tout reptile qui vole et qui marche sur quatre pieds. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πάντα τὰ ἑρπετὰ τω̃ν πετεινω̃ν ἃ πορεύεται ἐπὶ τέσσαρα βδελύγματά ἐστιν ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Omne de volucribus quod graditur super quatuor pedes, abominabile erit vobis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃11 כל שרץ העוף ההלך על ארבע שקץ הוא לכם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 21

Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;

- Mais, parmi tous les reptiles qui volent et qui marchent sur quatre pieds, vous mangerez ceux qui ont des jambes au-dessus de leurs pieds, pour sauter sur la terre. (Ⅱ)

- ἀλλὰ ταυ̃τα φάγεσθε ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἑρπετω̃ν τω̃ν πετεινω̃ν ἃ πορεύεται ἐπὶ τέσσαρα ἃ ἔχει σκέλη ἀνώτερον τω̃ν ποδω̃ν αὐτου̃ πηδα̃ν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Quidquid autem ambulat quidem super quatuor pedes, sed habet longiora retro crura, per quæ salit super terram, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃11 אך את זה תאכלו מכל שרץ העוף ההלך על ארבע אשר *לא **לו כרעים ממעל לרגליו לנתר בהן על הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 22

Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.

- Voici ceux que vous mangerez: la sauterelle, le solam, le hargol et le hagab, selon leurs espèces. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ταυ̃τα φάγεσθε ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν τὸν βρου̃χον καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ καὶ τὸν ἀττάκην καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ καὶ τὴν ἀκρίδα καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτη̨̃ καὶ τὸν ὀφιομάχην καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- comedere debetis, ut est bruchus in genere suo, et attacus atque ophiomachus, ac locusta, singula juxta genus suum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃11 את אלה מהם תאכלו את הארבה למינו ואת הסלעם למינהו ואת החרגל למינהו ואת החגב למינהו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 23

But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.

- Vous aurez en abomination tous les autres reptiles qui volent et qui ont quatre pieds. (Ⅱ)

- πα̃ν ἑρπετὸν ἀπὸ τω̃ν πετεινω̃ν οἱ̃ς ἐστιν τέσσαρες πόδες βδέλυγμά ἐστιν ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Quidquid autem ex volucribus quatuor tantum habet pedes, execrabile erit vobis : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃11 וכל שרץ העוף אשר לו ארבע רגלים שקץ הוא לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 24

And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until the even.

- Ils vous rendront impurs: quiconque touchera leurs corps morts sera impur jusqu'au soir, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐν τούτοις μιανθήσεσθε πα̃ς ὁ ἁπτόμενος τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας (Ⅲ)

- et quicumque morticina eorum tetigerit, polluetur, et erit immundus usque ad vesperum : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃11 ולאלה תטמאו כל הנגע בנבלתם יטמא עד הערב ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 25

And whosoever beareth ought of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.

- et quiconque portera leurs corps morts lavera ses vêtements et sera impur jusqu'au soir. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ς ὁ αἴρων τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν πλυνει̃ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας (Ⅲ)

- et si necesse fuerit ut portet quippiam horum mortuum, lavabit vestimenta sua, et immundus erit usque ad occasum solis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃11 וכל הנשא מנבלתם יכבס בגדיו וטמא עד הערב ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 26

The carcasses of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.

- Vous regarderez comme impur tout animal qui a la corne fendue, mais qui n'a pas le pied fourchu et qui ne rumine pas: quiconque le touchera sera impur. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς κτήνεσιν ὅ ἐστιν διχηλου̃ν ὁπλὴν καὶ ὀνυχιστη̃ρας ὀνυχίζει καὶ μηρυκισμὸν οὐ μαρυκα̃ται ἀκάθαρτα ἔσονται ὑμι̃ν πα̃ς ὁ ἁπτόμενος τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας (Ⅲ)

- Omne animal quod habet quidem ungulam, sed non dividit eam, nec ruminat, immundum erit : et qui tetigerit illud, contaminabitur. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃11 לכל הבהמה אשר הוא מפרסת פרסה ושסע איננה שסעת וגרה איננה מעלה טמאים הם לכם כל הנגע בהם יטמא ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 27

And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcass shall be unclean until the even.

- Vous regarderez comme impurs tous ceux des animaux à quatre pieds qui marchent sur leurs pattes: quiconque touchera leurs corps morts sera impur jusqu'au soir, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ς ὃς πορεύεται ἐπὶ χειρω̃ν ἐν πα̃σι τοι̃ς θηρίοις ἃ πορεύεται ἐπὶ τέσσαρα ἀκάθαρτα ἔσται ὑμι̃ν πα̃ς ὁ ἁπτόμενος τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας (Ⅲ)

- Quod ambulat super manus ex cunctis animantibus, quæ incedunt quadrupedia, immundum erit : qui tetigerit morticina eorum, polluetur usque ad vesperum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃11 וכל הולך על כפיו בכל החיה ההלכת על ארבע טמאים הם לכם כל הנגע בנבלתם יטמא עד הערב ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 28

And he that beareth the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.

- et quiconque portera leurs corps morts lavera ses vêtements et sera impur jusqu'au soir. Vous les regarderez comme impurs. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὁ αἴρων τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν πλυνει̃ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας ἀκάθαρτα ταυ̃τα ὑμι̃ν ἐστιν (Ⅲ)

- Et qui portaverit hujuscemodi cadavera, lavabit vestimenta sua, et immundus erit usque ad vesperum : quia omnia hæc immunda sunt vobis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃11 והנשא את נבלתם יכבס בגדיו וטמא עד הערב טמאים המה לכם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 29

These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,

- Voici, parmi les animaux qui rampent sur la terre, ceux que vous regarderez comme impurs: la taupe, la souris et le lézard, selon leurs espèces; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ταυ̃τα ὑμι̃ν ἀκάθαρτα ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἑρπετω̃ν τω̃ν ἑρπόντων ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς ἡ γαλη̃ καὶ ὁ μυ̃ς καὶ ὁ κροκόδειλος ὁ χερσαι̃ος (Ⅲ)

- Hæc quoque inter polluta reputabuntur de his quæ moventur in terra, mustela et mus et crocodilus, singula juxta genus suum, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃11 וזה לכם הטמא בשרץ השרץ על הארץ החלד והעכבר והצב למינהו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 30

And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.

- le hérisson, la grenouille, la tortue, le limaçon et le caméléon. (Ⅱ)

- μυγαλη̃ καὶ χαμαιλέων καὶ καλαβώτης καὶ σαύρα καὶ ἀσπάλαξ (Ⅲ)

- mygale, et chamæleon, et stellio, et lacerta, et talpa.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃11 והאנקה והכח והלטאה והחמט והתנשמת ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 31

These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.

- Vous les regarderez comme impurs parmi tous les reptiles: quiconque les touchera morts sera impur jusqu'au soir. (Ⅱ)

- ταυ̃τα ἀκάθαρτα ὑμι̃ν ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν ἑρπετω̃ν τω̃ν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς πα̃ς ὁ ἁπτόμενος αὐτω̃ν τεθνηκότων ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας (Ⅲ)

- Omnia hæc immunda sunt. Qui tetigerit morticina eorum, immundus erit usque ad vesperum : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 31 ׃11 אלה הטמאים לכם בכל השרץ כל הנגע בהם במתם יטמא עד הערב ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 32

And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.

- Tout objet sur lequel tombera quelque chose de leurs corps morts sera souillé, ustensiles de bois, vêtement, peau, sac, tout objet dont on fait usage; il sera mis dans l'eau, et restera souillé jusqu'au soir; après quoi, il sera pur. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ν ἐφ' ὃ ἂν ἐπιπέση̨ ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν τεθνηκότων αὐτω̃ν ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται ἀπὸ παντὸς σκεύους ξυλίνου ἢ ἱματίου ἢ δέρματος ἢ σάκκου πα̃ν σκευ̃ος ὃ ἐὰν ποιηθη̨̃ ἔργον ἐν αὐτω̨̃ εἰς ὕδωρ βαφήσεται καὶ ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας καὶ καθαρὸν ἔσται (Ⅲ)

- et super quod ceciderit quidquam de morticinis eorum, polluetur, tam vas ligneum et vestimentum, quam pelles et cilicia : et in quocumque fit opus, tingentur aqua, et polluta erunt usque ad vesperum, et sic postea mundabuntur. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 32 ׃11 וכל אשר יפל עליו מהם במתם יטמא מכל כלי עץ או בגד או עור או שק כל כלי אשר יעשה מלאכה בהם במים יובא וטמא עד הערב וטהר ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 33

And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.

- Tout ce qui se trouvera dans un vase de terre où il en tombera quelque chose, sera souillé, et vous briserez le vase. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ν σκευ̃ος ὀστράκινον εἰς ὃ ἐὰν πέση̨ ἀπὸ τούτων ἔνδον ὅσα ἐὰν ἔνδον ἠ̨̃ ἀκάθαρτα ἔσται καὶ αὐτὸ συντριβήσεται (Ⅲ)

- Vas autem fictile, in quod horum quidquam intro cecidit, polluetur, et idcirco frangendum est. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 33 ׃11 וכל כלי חרש אשר יפל מהם אל תוכו כל אשר בתוכו יטמא ואתו תשברו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 34

Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.

- Tout aliment qui sert à la nourriture, et sur lequel il sera tombé de cette eau, sera souillé; et toute boisson dont on fait usage, quel que soit le vase qui la contienne, sera souillée. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ν βρω̃μα ὃ ἔσθεται εἰς ὃ ἐὰν ἐπέλθη̨ ἐπ' αὐτὸ ὕδωρ ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται καὶ πα̃ν ποτόν ὃ πίνεται ἐν παντὶ ἀγγείω̨ ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται (Ⅲ)

- Omnis cibus, quem comedetis, si fusa fuerit super eum aqua, immundus erit : et omne liquens quod bibitur de universo vase, immundum erit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 34 ׃11 מכל האכל אשר יאכל אשר יבוא עליו מים יטמא וכל משקה אשר ישתה בכל כלי יטמא ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 35

And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you.

- Tout objet sur lequel tombera quelque chose de leurs corps morts sera souillé; le four et le foyer seront détruits: ils seront souillés, et vous les regarderez comme souillés. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ν ὃ ἐὰν πέση̨ ἀπὸ τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν ἐπ' αὐτό ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται κλίβανοι καὶ κυθρόποδες καθαιρεθήσονται ἀκάθαρτα ταυ̃τά ἐστιν καὶ ἀκάθαρτα ταυ̃τα ὑμι̃ν ἔσονται (Ⅲ)

- Et quidquid de morticinis hujuscemodi ceciderit super illud, immundum erit : sive clibani, sive chytropodes, destruentur, et immundi erunt. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 35 ׃11 וכל אשר יפל מנבלתם עליו יטמא תנור וכירים יתץ טמאים הם וטמאים יהיו לכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 36

Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcass shall be unclean.

- Il n'y aura que les sources et les citernes, formant des amas d'eaux, qui resteront pures; mais celui qui y touchera de leurs corps morts sera impur. (Ⅱ)

- πλὴν πηγω̃ν ὑδάτων καὶ λάκκου καὶ συναγωγη̃ς ὕδατος ἔσται καθαρόν ὁ δὲ ἁπτόμενος τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται (Ⅲ)

- Fontes vero et cisternæ, et omnis aquarum congregatio munda erit. Qui morticinum eorum tetigerit, polluetur. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 36 ׃11 אך מעין ובור מקוה מים יהיה טהור ונגע בנבלתם יטמא ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 37

And if any part of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.

- S'il tombe quelque chose de leurs corps morts sur une semence qui doit être semée, elle restera pure; (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ ἐπιπέση̨ τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ πα̃ν σπέρμα σπόριμον ὃ σπαρήσεται καθαρὸν ἔσται (Ⅲ)

- Si ceciderit super sementem, non polluet eam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 37 ׃11 וכי יפל מנבלתם על כל זרע זרוע אשר יזרע טהור הוא ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 38

But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcass fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.

- mais si l'on a mis de l'eau sur la semence, et qu'il y tombe quelque chose de leurs corps morts, vous la regarderez comme souillée. (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ ἐπιχυθη̨̃ ὕδωρ ἐπὶ πα̃ν σπέρμα καὶ ἐπιπέση̨ τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν ἐπ' αὐτό ἀκάθαρτόν ἐστιν ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Si autem quispiam aqua sementem perfuderit, et postea morticinis tacta fuerit, illico polluetur. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 38 ׃11 וכי יתן מים על זרע ונפל מנבלתם עליו טמא הוא לכם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 39

And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.

- S'il meurt un des animaux qui vous servent de nourriture, celui qui touchera son corps mort sera impur jusqu'au soir; (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ ἀποθάνη̨ τω̃ν κτηνω̃ν ὅ ἐστιν ὑμι̃ν του̃το φαγει̃ν ὁ ἁπτόμενος τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας (Ⅲ)

- Si mortuum fuerit animal, quod licet vobis comedere, qui cadaver ejus tetigerit, immundus erit usque ad vesperum : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 39 ׃11 וכי ימות מן הבהמה אשר היא לכם לאכלה הנגע בנבלתה יטמא עד הערב ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 40

And he that eateth of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.

- celui qui mangera de son corps mort lavera ses vêtements et sera impur jusqu'au soir, et celui qui portera son corps mort lavera ses vêtements et sera impur jusqu'au soir. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὁ ἐσθίων ἀπὸ τω̃ν θνησιμαίων τούτων πλυνει̃ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας καὶ ὁ αἴρων ἀπὸ θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν πλυνει̃ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας (Ⅲ)

- et qui comederit ex eo quippiam, sive portaverit, lavabit vestimenta sua, et immundus erit usque ad vesperum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 40 ׃11 והאכל מנבלתה יכבס בגדיו וטמא עד הערב והנשא את נבלתה יכבס בגדיו וטמא עד הערב ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 41

And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.

- Vous aurez en abomination tout reptile qui rampe sur la terre: on n'en mangera point. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ν ἑρπετόν ὃ ἕρπει ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς βδέλυγμα του̃το ἔσται ὑμι̃ν οὐ βρωθήσεται (Ⅲ)

- Omne quod reptat super terram, abominabile erit, nec assumetur in cibum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 41 ׃11 וכל השרץ השרץ על הארץ שקץ הוא לא יאכל ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 42

Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.

- Vous ne mangerez point, parmi tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre, de tous ceux qui se traînent sur le ventre, ni de tous ceux qui marchent sur quatre pieds ou sur un grand nombre de pieds; car vous les aurez en abomination. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ς ὁ πορευόμενος ἐπὶ κοιλίας καὶ πα̃ς ὁ πορευόμενος ἐπὶ τέσσαρα διὰ παντός ὃ πολυπληθει̃ ποσὶν ἐν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς ἑρπετοι̃ς τοι̃ς ἕρπουσιν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς οὐ φάγεσθε αὐτό ὅτι βδέλυγμα ὑμι̃ν ἐστιν (Ⅲ)

- Quidquid super pectus quadrupes graditur, et multos habet pedes, sive per humum trahitur, non comedetis, quia abominabile est. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 42 ׃11 כל הולך על גחו‪[5]‬ן וכל הולך על ארבע עד כל מרבה רגלים לכל השרץ השרץ על הארץ לא תאכלום כי שקץ הם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 43

Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.

- Ne rendez point vos personnes abominables par tous ces reptiles qui rampent; ne vous rendez point impurs par eux, ne vous souillez point par eux. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐ μὴ βδελύξητε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμω̃ν ἐν πα̃σι τοι̃ς ἑρπετοι̃ς τοι̃ς ἕρπουσιν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ οὐ μιανθήσεσθε ἐν τούτοις καὶ οὐκ ἀκάθαρτοι ἔσεσθε ἐν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Nolite contaminare animas vestras, nec tangatis quidquam eorum, ne immundi sitis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 43 ׃11 אל תשקצו את נפשתיכם בכל השרץ השרץ ולא תטמאו בהם ונטמתם בם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 44

For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

- Car je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu; vous vous sanctifierez, et vous serez saints, car je suis saint; et vous ne vous rendrez point impurs par tous ces reptiles qui rampent sur la terre. (Ⅱ)

- ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἁγιασθήσεσθε καὶ ἅγιοι ἔσεσθε ὅτι ἅγιός εἰμι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμω̃ν καὶ οὐ μιανει̃τε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμω̃ν ἐν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς ἑρπετοι̃ς τοι̃ς κινουμένοις ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Ego enim sum Dominus Deus vester : sancti estote, quia ego sanctus sum. Ne polluatis animas vestras in omni reptili quod movetur super terram. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 44 ׃11 כי אני יהוה אלהיכם והתקדשתם והייתם קדשים כי קדוש אני ולא תטמאו את נפשתיכם בכל השרץ הרמש על הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 45

For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

- Car je suis l'Éternel, qui vous ai fait monter du pays d'Égypte, pour être votre Dieu, et pour que vous soyez saints; car je suis saint. (Ⅱ)

- ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ ἀναγαγὼν ὑμα̃ς ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου εἰ̃ναι ὑμω̃ν θεός καὶ ἔσεσθε ἅγιοι ὅτι ἅγιός εἰμι ἐγὼ κύριος (Ⅲ)

- Ego enim sum Dominus, qui eduxi vos de terra Ægypti, ut essem vobis in Deum. Sancti eritis, quia ego sanctus sum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 45 ׃11 כי אני יהוה המעלה אתכם מארץ מצרים להית לכם לאלהים והייתם קדשים כי קדוש אני ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 46

This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:

- Telle est la loi touchant les animaux, les oiseaux, tous les êtres vivants qui se meuvent dans les eaux, et tous les êtres qui rampent sur la terre, (Ⅱ)

- οὑ̃τος ὁ νόμος περὶ τω̃ν κτηνω̃ν καὶ τω̃ν πετεινω̃ν καὶ πάσης ψυχη̃ς τη̃ς κινουμένης ἐν τω̨̃ ὕδατι καὶ πάσης ψυχη̃ς ἑρπούσης ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Ista est lex animantium ac volucrum, et omnis animæ viventis, quæ movetur in aqua, et reptat in terra, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 46 ׃11 זאת תורת הבהמה והעוף וכל נפש החיה הרמשת במים ולכל נפש השרצת על הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 47

To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.

- afin que vous distinguiez ce qui est impur et ce qui est pur, l'animal qui se mange et l'animal qui ne se mange pas. (Ⅱ)

- διαστει̃λαι ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν ἀκαθάρτων καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν καθαρω̃ν καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν ζωογονούντων τὰ ἐσθιόμενα καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν ζωογονούντων τὰ μὴ ἐσθιόμενα (Ⅲ)

- ut differentias noveritis mundi et immundi, et sciatis quid comedere et quid respuere debeatis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 47 ׃11 להבדיל בין הטמא ובין הטהר ובין החיה הנאכלת ובין החיה אשר לא תאכל פ‬ (Ⅴ)
