And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Parle aux sacrificateurs, fils d'Aaron, et tu leur diras: Un sacrificateur ne se rendra point impur parmi son peuple pour un mort, (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων εἰπὸν τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σιν τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ααρων καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτούς ἐν ται̃ς ψυχαι̃ς οὐ μιανθήσονται ἐν τω̨̃ ἔθνει αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Dixit quoque Dominus ad Moysen : Loquere ad sacerdotes filios Aaron, et dices ad eos : Ne contaminetur sacerdos in mortibus civium suorum, (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃21 ויאמר יהוה אל משה אמר אל הכהנים בני אהרן ואמרת אלהם לנפש לא יטמא בעמיו (Ⅴ)

But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother.
- excepté pour ses plus proches parents, pour sa mère, pour son père, pour son fils, pour son frère, (Ⅱ) - ἀλλ' ἢ ἐν τω̨̃ οἰκείω̨ τω̨̃ ἔγγιστα αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ πατρὶ καὶ μητρὶ καὶ υἱοι̃ς καὶ θυγατράσιν ἐπ' ἀδελφω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - nisi tantum in consanguineis, ac propinquis, id est, super patre et matre, et filio, et filia, fratre quoque, (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃21 כי אם לשארו הקרב אליו לאמו ולאביו ולבנו ולבתו ולאחיו (Ⅴ)

And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
- et aussi pour sa soeur encore vierge, qui le touche de près lorsqu'elle n'est pas mariée. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπ' ἀδελφη̨̃ παρθένω̨ τη̨̃ ἐγγιζούση̨ αὐτω̨̃ τη̨̃ μὴ ἐκδεδομένη̨ ἀνδρί ἐπὶ τούτοις μιανθήσεται (Ⅲ) - et sorore virgine quæ non est nupta viro : (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃21 ולאחתו הבתולה הקרובה אליו אשר לא היתה לאיש לה יטמא (Ⅴ)

But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
- Chef parmi son peuple, il ne se rendra point impur en se profanant. (Ⅱ) - οὐ μιανθήσεται ἐξάπινα ἐν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ αὐτου̃ εἰς βεβήλωσιν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - sed nec in principe populi sui contaminabitur. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃21 לא יטמא בעל בעמיו להחלו (Ⅴ)

They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
- Les sacrificateurs ne se feront point de place chauve sur la tête, ils ne raseront point les coins de leur barbe, et ils ne feront point d'incisions dans leur chair. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φαλάκρωμα οὐ ξυρηθήσεσθε τὴν κεφαλὴν ἐπὶ νεκρω̨̃ καὶ τὴν ὄψιν του̃ πώγωνος οὐ ξυρήσονται καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς σάρκας αὐτω̃ν οὐ κατατεμου̃σιν ἐντομίδας (Ⅲ) - Non radent caput, nec barbam, neque in carnibus suis facient incisuras. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃21 לא *יקרחה **יקרחו קרחה בראשם ופאת זקנם לא יגלחו ובבשרם לא ישרטו שרטת (Ⅴ)

They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
- Ils seront saints pour leur Dieu, et ils ne profaneront pas le nom de leur Dieu; car ils offrent à l'Éternel les sacrifices consumés par le feu, l'aliment de leur Dieu: ils seront saints. (Ⅱ) - ἅγιοι ἔσονται τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ αὐτω̃ν καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσουσιν τὸ ὄνομα του̃ θεου̃ αὐτω̃ν τὰς γὰρ θυσίας κυρίου δω̃ρα του̃ θεου̃ αὐτω̃ν αὐτοὶ προσφέρουσιν καὶ ἔσονται ἅγιοι (Ⅲ) - Sancti erunt Deo suo, et non polluent nomen ejus : incensum enim Domini, et panes Dei sui offerunt, et ideo sancti erunt. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃21 קדשים יהיו לאלהיהם ולא יחללו שם אלהיהם כי את אשי יהוה לחם אלהיהם הם מקריבם והיו קדש (Ⅴ)

They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
- Ils ne prendront point une femme prostituée ou déshonorée, ils ne prendront point une femme répudiée par son mari, car ils sont saints pour leur Dieu. (Ⅱ) - γυναι̃κα πόρνην καὶ βεβηλωμένην οὐ λήμψονται καὶ γυναι̃κα ἐκβεβλημένην ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς αὐτη̃ς ἅγιός ἐστιν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Scortum et vile prostibulum non ducent uxorem, nec eam quæ repudiata est a marito : quia consecrati sunt Deo suo, (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃21 אשה זנה וחללה לא יקחו ואשה גרושה מאישה לא יקחו כי קדש הוא לאלהיו (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
- Tu regarderas un sacrificateur comme saint, car il offre l'aliment de ton Dieu; il sera saint pour toi, car je suis saint, moi, l'Éternel, qui vous sanctifie. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἁγιάσει αὐτόν τὰ δω̃ρα κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ ὑμω̃ν οὑ̃τος προσφέρει ἅγιος ἔσται ὅτι ἅγιος ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - et panes propositionis offerunt. Sint ergo sancti, quia et ego sanctus sum, Dominus qui sanctifico eos. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃21 וקדשתו כי את לחם אלהיך הוא מקריב קדש יהיה לך כי קדוש אני יהוה מקדשכם (Ⅴ)

And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
- Si la fille d'un sacrificateur se déshonore en se prostituant, elle déshonore son père: elle sera brûlée au feu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ θυγάτηρ ἀνθρώπου ἱερέως ἐὰν βεβηλωθη̨̃ του̃ ἐκπορνευ̃σαι τὸ ὄνομα του̃ πατρὸς αὐτη̃ς αὐτὴ βεβηλοι̃ ἐπὶ πυρὸς κατακαυθήσεται (Ⅲ) - Sacerdotis filia si deprehensa fuerit in stupro, et violaverit nomen patris sui, flammis exuretur.\ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃21 ובת איש כהן כי תחל לזנות את אביה היא מחללת באש תשרף ס (Ⅴ)

And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
- Le sacrificateur qui a la supériorité sur ses frères, sur la tête duquel a été répandue l'huile d'onction, et qui a été consacré et revêtu des vêtements sacrés, ne découvriras point sa tête et ne déchirera point ses vêtements. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ μέγας ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἀδελφω̃ν αὐτου̃ του̃ ἐπικεχυμένου ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν του̃ ἐλαίου του̃ χριστου̃ καὶ τετελειωμένου ἐνδύσασθαι τὰ ἱμάτια τὴν κεφαλὴν οὐκ ἀποκιδαρώσει καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια οὐ διαρρήξει (Ⅲ) - Pontifex, id est, sacerdos maximus inter fratres suos, super cujus caput fusum est unctionis oleum, et cujus manus in sacerdotio consecratæ sunt, vestitusque est sanctis vestibus, caput suum non discooperiet, vestimenta non scindet : (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃21 והכהן הגדול מאחיו אשר יוצק על ראשו שמן המשחה ומלא את ידו ללבש את הבגדים את ראשו לא יפרע ובגדיו לא יפרם (Ⅴ)

Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
- Il n'ira vers aucun mort, il ne se rendra point impur, ni pour son père, ni pour sa mère. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπὶ πάση̨ ψυχη̨̃ τετελευτηκυία̨ οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται ἐπὶ πατρὶ αὐτου̃ οὐδὲ ἐπὶ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ οὐ μιανθήσεται (Ⅲ) - et ad omnem mortuum non ingredietur omnino : super patre quoque suo et matre non contaminabitur. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃21 ועל כל נפשת מת לא יבא לאביו ולאמו לא יטמא (Ⅴ)

Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
- Il ne sortira point du sanctuaire, et ne profanera point le sanctuaire de son Dieu; car l'huile d'onction de son Dieu est une couronne sur lui. Je suis l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκ τω̃ν ἁγίων οὐκ ἐξελεύσεται καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσει τὸ ἡγιασμένον του̃ θεου̃ αὐτου̃ ὅτι τὸ ἅγιον ἔλαιον τὸ χριστὸν του̃ θεου̃ ἐπ' αὐτω̨̃ ἐγὼ κύριος (Ⅲ) - Nec egredietur de sanctis, ne polluat sanctuarium Domini, quia oleum sanctæ unctionis Dei sui super eum est. Ego Dominus. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃21 ומן המקדש לא יצא ולא יחלל את מקדש אלהיו כי נזר שמן משחת אלהיו עליו אני יהוה (Ⅴ)

And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
- Il prendra pour femme une vierge. (Ⅱ) - οὑ̃τος γυναι̃κα παρθένον ἐκ του̃ γένους αὐτου̃ λήμψεται (Ⅲ) - Virginem ducet uxorem : (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃21 והוא אשה בבתוליה יקח (Ⅴ)

A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
- Il ne prendra ni une veuve, ni une femme répudiée, ni une femme déshonorée ou prostituée; mais il prendra pour femme une vierge parmi son peuple. (Ⅱ) - χήραν δὲ καὶ ἐκβεβλημένην καὶ βεβηλωμένην καὶ πόρνην ταύτας οὐ λήμψεται ἀλλ' ἢ παρθένον ἐκ του̃ γένους αὐτου̃ λήμψεται γυναι̃κα (Ⅲ) - viduam autem et repudiatam, et sordidam, atque meretricem non accipiet, sed puellam de populo suo : (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃21 אלמנה וגרושה וחללה זנה את אלה לא יקח כי אם בתולה מעמיו יקח אשה (Ⅴ)

Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
- Il ne déshonorera point sa postérité parmi son peuple; car je suis l'Éternel, qui le sanctifie. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσει τὸ σπέρμα αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ αὐτου̃ ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - ne commisceat stirpem generis sui vulgo gentis suæ : quia ego Dominus, qui sanctifico eum. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃21 ולא יחלל זרעו בעמיו כי אני יהוה מקדשו פ (Ⅴ)

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων (Ⅲ) - Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃21 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר (Ⅴ)

Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
- Parle à Aaron, et dis: Tout homme de ta race et parmi tes descendants, qui aura un défaut corporel, ne s'approchera point pour offrir l'aliment de son Dieu. (Ⅱ) - εἰπὸν Ααρων ἄνθρωπος ἐκ του̃ γένους σου εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμω̃ν τίνι ἐὰν ἠ̨̃ ἐν αὐτω̨̃ μω̃μος οὐ προσελεύσεται προσφέρειν τὰ δω̃ρα του̃ θεου̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Loquere ad Aaron : Homo de semine tuo per familias qui habuerit maculam, non offeret panes Deo suo, (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃21 דבר אל אהרן לאמר איש מזרעך לדרתם אשר יהיה בו מום לא יקרב להקריב לחם אלהיו (Ⅴ)

For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
- Tout homme qui aura un défaut corporel ne pourra s'approcher: un homme aveugle, boiteux, ayant le nez camus ou un membre allongé; (Ⅱ) - πα̃ς ἄνθρωπος ὡ̨̃ ἂν ἠ̨̃ ἐν αὐτω̨̃ μω̃μος οὐ προσελεύσεται ἄνθρωπος χωλὸς ἢ τυφλὸς ἢ κολοβόρριν ἢ ὠτότμητος (Ⅲ) - nec accedet ad ministerium ejus : si cæcus fuerit, si claudus, si parvo vel grandi, vel torto naso, (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃21 כי כל איש אשר בו מום לא יקרב איש עור או פסח או חרם או שרוע (Ⅴ)

Or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,
- un homme ayant une fracture au pied ou à la main; (Ⅱ) - ἢ ἄνθρωπος ὡ̨̃ ἐστιν ἐν αὐτω̨̃ σύντριμμα χειρὸς ἢ σύντριμμα ποδός (Ⅲ) - si fracto pede, si manu, (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃21 או איש אשר יהיה בו שבר רגל או שבר יד (Ⅴ)

Or crookbacked, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
- un homme bossu ou grêle, ayant une tache à l'oeil, la gale, une dartre, ou les testicules écrasés. (Ⅱ) - ἢ κυρτὸς ἢ ἔφηλος ἢ πτίλος τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς ἢ ἄνθρωπος ὡ̨̃ ἂν ἠ̨̃ ἐν αὐτω̨̃ ψώρα ἀγρία ἢ λιχήν ἢ μόνορχις (Ⅲ) - si gibbus, si lippus, si albuginem habens in oculo, si jugem scabiem, si impetiginem in corpore, vel herniosus. (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃21 או גבן או דק או תבלל בעינו או גרב או ילפת או מרוח אשך (Ⅴ)

No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
- Tout homme de la race du sacrificateur Aaron, qui aura un défaut corporel, ne s'approchera point pour offrir à l'Éternel les sacrifices consumés par le feu; il a un défaut corporel: il ne s'approchera point pour offrir l'aliment de son Dieu. (Ⅱ) - πα̃ς ὡ̨̃ ἐστιν ἐν αὐτω̨̃ μω̃μος ἐκ του̃ σπέρματος Ααρων του̃ ἱερέως οὐκ ἐγγιει̃ του̃ προσενεγκει̃ν τὰς θυσίας τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σου ὅτι μω̃μος ἐν αὐτω̨̃ τὰ δω̃ρα του̃ θεου̃ οὐ προσελεύσεται προσενεγκει̃ν (Ⅲ) - Omnis qui habuerit maculam de semine Aaron sacerdotis, non accedet offerre hostias Domino, nec panes Deo suo : (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃21 כל איש אשר בו מום מזרע אהרן הכהן לא יגש להקריב את אשי יהוה מום בו את לחם אלהיו לא יגש להקריב (Ⅴ)

He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
- Il pourra manger l'aliment de son Dieu, des choses très saintes et des choses saintes. (Ⅱ) - τὰ δω̃ρα του̃ θεου̃ τὰ ἅγια τω̃ν ἁγίων καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἁγίων φάγεται (Ⅲ) - vescetur tamen panibus qui offeruntur in sanctuario, (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃21 לחם אלהיו מקדשי הקדשים ומן הקדשים יאכל (Ⅴ)

Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
- Mais il n'ira point vers le voile, et il ne s'approchera point de l'autel, car il a un défaut corporel; il ne profanera point mes sanctuaires, car je suis l'Éternel, qui les sanctifie. (Ⅱ) - πλὴν πρὸς τὸ καταπέτασμα οὐ προσελεύσεται καὶ πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον οὐκ ἐγγιει̃ ὅτι μω̃μον ἔχει καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσει τὸ ἅγιον του̃ θεου̃ αὐτου̃ ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - ita dumtaxat, ut intra velum non ingrediatur, nec accedat ad altare, quia maculam habet, et contaminare non debet sanctuarium meum. Ego Dominus qui sanctifico eos. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃21 אך אל הפרכת לא יבא ואל המזבח לא יגש כי מום בו ולא יחלל את מקדשי כי אני יהוה מקדשם (Ⅴ)

And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
- C'est ainsi que parla Moïse à Aaron et à ses fils, et à tous les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυση̃ς πρὸς Ααρων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Locutus est ergo Moyses ad Aaron, et ad filios ejus, et ad omnem Israël cuncta quæ fuerant sibi imperata. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃21 וידבר משה אל אהרן ואל בניו ואל כל בני ישראל פ (Ⅴ)
