17. 1

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων (Ⅲ)

- Et locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃17 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 2

Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,

- Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, et à tous les enfants d'Israël, et tu leur diras: Voici ce que l'Éternel a ordonné. (Ⅱ)

- λάλησον πρὸς Ααρων καὶ πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτούς του̃το τὸ ῥη̃μα ὃ ἐνετείλατο κύριος λέγων (Ⅲ)

- Loquere Aaron et filiis ejus, et cunctis filiis Israël, dicens ad eos : Iste est sermo quem mandavit Dominus, dicens : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃17 דבר אל אהרן ואל בניו ואל כל בני ישראל ואמרת אליהם זה הדבר אשר צוה יהוה לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 3

What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

- Si un homme de la maison d'Israël égorge dans le camp ou hors du camp un boeuf, un agneau ou une chèvre, (Ⅱ)

- ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἢ τω̃ν προσηλύτων τω̃ν προσκειμένων ἐν ὑμι̃ν ὃς ἂν σφάξη̨ μόσχον ἢ πρόβατον ἢ αἰ̃γα ἐν τη̨̃ παρεμβολη̨̃ καὶ ὃς ἂν σφάξη̨ ἔξω τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Homo quilibet de domo Israël, si occiderit bovem aut ovem, sive capram, in castris vel extra castra, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃17 איש איש מבית ישראל אשר ישחט שור או כשב או עז במחנה או אשר ישחט מחוץ למחנה ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 4

And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

- et ne l'amène pas à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, pour en faire une offrande à l'Éternel devant le tabernacle de l'Éternel, le sang sera imputé à cet homme; il a répandu le sang, cet homme-là sera retranché du milieu de son peuple. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου μὴ ἐνέγκη̨ ὥστε ποιη̃σαι αὐτὸ εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα ἢ σωτήριον κυρίω̨ δεκτὸν εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας καὶ ὃς ἂν σφάξη̨ ἔξω καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου μὴ ἐνέγκη̨ αὐτὸ ὥστε μὴ προσενέγκαι δω̃ρον κυρίω̨ ἀπέναντι τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς κυρίου καὶ λογισθήσεται τω̨̃ ἀνθρώπω̨ ἐκείνω̨ αἱ̃μα αἱ̃μα ἐξέχεεν ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ του̃ λαου̃ αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- et non obtulerit ad ostium tabernaculi oblationem Domino, sanguinis reus erit : quasi si sanguinem fuderit, sic peribit de medio populi sui. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃17 ואל פתח אהל מועד לא הביאו להקריב קרבן ליהוה לפני משכן יהוה דם יחשב לאיש ההוא דם שפך ונכרת האיש ההוא מקרב עמו ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 5

To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.

- C'est afin que les enfants d'Israël, au lieu de sacrifier leurs victimes dans les champs, les amènent au sacrificateur, devant l'Éternel, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, et qu'ils les offrent à l'Éternel en sacrifices d'actions de grâces. (Ⅱ)

- ὅπως ἀναφέρωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὰς θυσίας αὐτω̃ν ὅσας ἂν αὐτοὶ σφάξουσιν ἐν τοι̃ς πεδίοις καὶ οἴσουσιν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐπὶ τὰς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα καὶ θύσουσιν θυσίαν σωτηρίου τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ αὐτά (Ⅲ)

- Ideo sacerdoti offerre debent filii Israël hostias suas, quas occident in agro, ut sanctificentur Domino ante ostium tabernaculi testimonii, et immolent eas hostias pacificas Domino. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃17 למען אשר יביאו בני ישראל את זבחיהם אשר הם זבחים על פני השדה והביאם ליהוה אל פתח אהל מועד אל הכהן וזבחו זבחי שלמים ליהוה אותם ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 6

And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savor unto the LORD.

- Le sacrificateur en répandra le sang sur l'autel de l'Éternel, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation; et il brûlera la graisse, qui sera d'une agréable odeur à l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ προσχεει̃ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ αἱ̃μα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλω̨ ἀπέναντι κυρίου παρὰ τὰς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἀνοίσει τὸ στέαρ εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίω̨ (Ⅲ)

- Fundetque sacerdos sanguinem super altare Domini ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii, et adolebit adipem in odorem suavitatis Domino : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃17 וזרק הכהן את הדם על מזבח יהוה פתח אהל מועד והקטיר החלב לריח ניחח ליהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 7

And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.

- Ils n'offriront plus leurs sacrifices aux boucs, avec lesquels ils se prostituent. Ce sera une loi perpétuelle pour eux et pour leurs descendants. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐ θύσουσιν ἔτι τὰς θυσίας αὐτω̃ν τοι̃ς ματαίοις οἱ̃ς αὐτοὶ ἐκπορνεύουσιν ὀπίσω αὐτω̃ν νόμιμον αἰώνιον ἔσται ὑμι̃ν εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- et nequaquam ultra immolabunt hostias suas dæmonibus, cum quibus fornicati sunt. Legitimum sempiternum erit illis et posteris eorum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃17 ולא יזבחו עוד את זבחיהם לשעירם אשר הם זנים אחריהם חקת עולם תהיה זאת להם לדרתם ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 8

And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,

- Tu leur diras donc: Si un homme de la maison d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d'eux offre un holocauste ou une victime, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτούς ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν τω̃ν προσηλύτων τω̃ν προσκειμένων ἐν ὑμι̃ν ὃς ἂν ποιήση̨ ὁλοκαύτωμα ἢ θυσίαν (Ⅲ)

- Et ad ipsos dices : Homo de domo Israël, et de advenis qui peregrinantur apud vos, qui obtulerit holocaustum sive victimam, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃17 ואלהם תאמר איש איש מבית ישראל ומן הגר אשר יגור בתוכם אשר יעלה עלה או זבח ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 9

And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.

- et ne l'amène pas à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, pour l'offrir en sacrifice à l'Éternel, cet homme-là sera retranché de son peuple. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου μὴ ἐνέγκη̨ ποιη̃σαι αὐτὸ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκει̃νος ἐκ του̃ λαου̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- et ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii non adduxerit eam, ut offeratur Domino, interibit de populo suo.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃17 ואל פתח אהל מועד לא יביאנו לעשות אתו ליהוה ונכרת האיש ההוא מעמיו ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 10

And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

- Si un homme de la maison d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d'eux mange du sang d'une espèce quelconque, je tournerai ma face contre celui qui mange le sang, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἢ τω̃ν προσηλύτων τω̃ν προσκειμένων ἐν ὑμι̃ν ὃς ἂν φάγη̨ πα̃ν αἱ̃μα καὶ ἐπιστήσω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐπὶ τὴν ψυχὴν τὴν ἔσθουσαν τὸ αἱ̃μα καὶ ἀπολω̃ αὐτὴν ἐκ του̃ λαου̃ αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Homo quilibet de domo Israël et de advenis qui peregrinantur inter eos, si comederit sanguinem, obfirmabo faciem meam contra animam illius, et disperdam eam de populo suo, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃17 ואיש איש מבית ישראל ומן הגר הגר בתוכם אשר יאכל כל דם ונתתי פני בנפש האכלת את הדם והכרתי אתה מקרב עמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 11

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

- Car l'âme de la chair est dans le sang. Je vous l'ai donné sur l'autel, afin qu'il servît d'expiation pour vos âmes, car c'est par l'âme que le sang fait l'expiation. (Ⅱ)

- ἡ γὰρ ψυχὴ πάσης σαρκὸς αἱ̃μα αὐτου̃ ἐστιν καὶ ἐγὼ δέδωκα αὐτὸ ὑμι̃ν ἐπὶ του̃ θυσιαστηρίου ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ τω̃ν ψυχω̃ν ὑμω̃ν τὸ γὰρ αἱ̃μα αὐτου̃ ἀντὶ τη̃ς ψυχη̃ς ἐξιλάσεται (Ⅲ)

- quia anima carnis in sanguine est : et ego dedi illum vobis, ut super altare in eo expietis pro animabus vestris, et sanguis pro animæ piaculo sit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃17 כי נפש הבשר בדם הוא ואני נתתיו לכם על המזבח לכפר על נפשתיכם כי הדם הוא בנפש יכפר ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 12

Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

- C'est pourquoi j'ai dit aux enfants d'Israël: Personne d'entre vous ne mangera du sang, et l'étranger qui séjourne au milieu de vous ne mangera pas du sang. (Ⅱ)

- διὰ του̃το εἴρηκα τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ πα̃σα ψυχὴ ἐξ ὑμω̃ν οὐ φάγεται αἱ̃μα καὶ ὁ προσήλυτος ὁ προσκείμενος ἐν ὑμι̃ν οὐ φάγεται αἱ̃μα (Ⅲ)

- Idcirco dixi filiis Israël : Omnis anima ex vobis non comedet sanguinem, nec ex advenis qui peregrinantur apud vos. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃17 על כן אמרתי לבני ישראל כל נפש מכם לא תאכל דם והגר הגר בתוככם לא יאכל דם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 13

And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

- Si quelqu'un des enfants d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d'eux prend à la chasse un animal ou un oiseau qui se mange, il en versera le sang et le couvrira de poussière. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ τω̃ν προσηλύτων τω̃ν προσκειμένων ἐν ὑμι̃ν ὃς ἂν θηρεύση̨ θήρευμα θηρίον ἢ πετεινόν ὃ ἔσθεται καὶ ἐκχεει̃ τὸ αἱ̃μα καὶ καλύψει αὐτὸ τη̨̃ γη̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Homo quicumque de filiis Israël, et de advenis qui peregrinantur apud vos, si venatione atque aucupio ceperit feram, vel avem, quibus vesci licitum est, fundat sanguinem ejus, et operiat illum terra. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃17 ואיש איש מבני ישראל ומן הגר הגר בתוכם אשר יצוד ציד חיה או עוף אשר יאכל ושפך את דמו וכסהו בעפר ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 14

For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

- Car l'âme de toute chair, c'est son sang, qui est en elle. C'est pourquoi j'ai dit aux enfants d'Israël: Vous ne mangerez le sang d'aucune chair; car l'âme de toute chair, c'est son sang: quiconque en mangera sera retranché. (Ⅱ)

- ἡ γὰρ ψυχὴ πάσης σαρκὸς αἱ̃μα αὐτου̃ ἐστιν καὶ εἰ̃πα τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ αἱ̃μα πάσης σαρκὸς οὐ φάγεσθε ὅτι ἡ ψυχὴ πάσης σαρκὸς αἱ̃μα αὐτου̃ ἐστιν πα̃ς ὁ ἔσθων αὐτὸ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται (Ⅲ)

- Anima enim omnis carnis in sanguine est : unde dixi filiis Israël : Sanguinem universæ carnis non comedetis, quia anima carnis in sanguine est : et quicumque comederit illum, interibit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃17 כי נפש כל בשר דמו בנפשו הוא ואמר לבני ישראל דם כל בשר לא תאכלו כי נפש כל בשר דמו הוא כל אכליו יכרת ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 15

And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.

- Toute personne, indigène ou étrangère, qui mangera d'une bête morte ou déchirée, lavera ses vêtements, se lavera dans l'eau, et sera impure jusqu'au soir; puis elle sera pure. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃σα ψυχή ἥτις φάγεται θνησιμαι̃ον ἢ θηριάλωτον ἐν τοι̃ς αὐτόχθοσιν ἢ ἐν τοι̃ς προσηλύτοις πλυνει̃ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτου̃ καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας καὶ καθαρὸς ἔσται (Ⅲ)

- Anima, quæ comederit morticinum, vel captum a bestia, tam de indigenis, quam de advenis, lavabit vestimenta sua et semetipsum aqua, et contaminatus erit usque ad vesperum : et hoc ordine mundus fiet. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃17 וכל נפש אשר תאכל נבלה וטרפה באזרח ובגר וכבס בגדיו ורחץ במים וטמא עד הערב וטהר ‬ (Ⅴ)

17. 16

But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.

- Si elle ne lave pas ses vêtements, et ne lave pas son corps, elle portera la peine de sa faute. (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ μὴ πλύνη̨ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ τὸ σω̃μα μὴ λούσηται ὕδατι καὶ λήμψεται ἀνόμημα αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Quod si non laverit vestimenta sua et corpus, portabit iniquitatem suam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃17 ואם לא יכבס ובשרו לא ירחץ ונשא עונו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
