So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
- Après qu'on eut amené l'arche de Dieu, on la plaça au milieu de la tente que David avait dressée pour elle, et l'on offrit devant Dieu des holocaustes et des sacrifices d'actions de grâces. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰσήνεγκαν τὴν κιβωτὸν του̃ θεου̃ καὶ ἀπηρείσαντο αὐτὴν ἐν μέσω̨ τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς ἡ̃ς ἔπηξεν αὐτη̨̃ Δαυιδ καὶ προσήνεγκαν ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ σωτηρίου ἐναντίον του̃ θεου̃ (Ⅲ) - Attulerunt igitur arcam Dei, et constituerunt eam in medio tabernaculi quod tetenderat ei David : et obtulerunt holocausta et pacifica coram Deo. And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
- Quand David eut achevé d'offrir les holocaustes et les sacrifices d'actions de grâces, il bénit le peuple au nom de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ συνετέλεσεν Δαυιδ ἀναφέρων ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ σωτηρίου καὶ εὐλόγησεν τὸν λαὸν ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Cumque complesset David offerens holocausta et pacifica, benedixit populo in nomine Domini. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃16 ויכל דויד מהעלות העלה והשלמים ויברך את העם בשם יהוה (Ⅴ)

And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
- Puis il distribua à tous ceux d'Israël, hommes et femmes, à chacun un pain, une portion de viande et un gâteau de raisins. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διεμέρισεν παντὶ ἀνδρὶ Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς καὶ ἕως γυναικὸς τω̨̃ ἀνδρὶ ἄρτον ἕνα ἀρτοκοπικὸν καὶ ἀμορίτην (Ⅲ) - Et divisit universis per singulos, a viro usque ad mulierem, tortam panis, et partem assæ carnis bubalæ, et frixam oleo similam.\ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃16 ויחלק לכל איש ישראל מאיש ועד אשה לאיש ככר לחם ואשפר ואשישה (Ⅴ)

And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
- Il remit à des Lévites la charge de faire le service devant l'arche de l'Éternel, d'invoquer, de louer et de célébrer l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔταξεν κατὰ πρόσωπον τη̃ς κιβωτου̃ διαθήκης κυρίου ἐκ τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν λειτουργου̃ντας ἀναφωνου̃ντας καὶ ἐξομολογει̃σθαι καὶ αἰνει̃ν κύριον τὸν θεὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Constituitque coram arca Domini de Levitis, qui ministrarent, et recordarentur operum ejus, et glorificarent atque laudarent Dominum Deum Israël : (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃16 ויתן לפני ארון יהוה מן הלוים משרתים ולהזכיר ולהודות ולהלל ליהוה אלהי ישראל פ (Ⅴ)

Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;
- C'étaient: Asaph, le chef; Zacharie, le second après lui, Jeïel, Schemiramoth, Jehiel, Matthithia, Éliab, Benaja, Obed Édom et Jeïel. Ils avaient des instruments de musique, des luths et des harpes; et Asaph faisait retentir les cymbales. Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

Remember his marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.

And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
- Et ils allaient d'une nation à l'autre Et d'un royaume vers un autre peuple; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ἀπὸ ἔθνους εἰς ἔθνος καὶ ἀπὸ βασιλείας εἰς λαὸν ἕτερον (Ⅲ) - Et transierunt de gente in gentem,/ et de regno ad populum alterum./ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃16 ויתהלכו מגוי אל גוי ומממלכה אל עם אחר (Ⅴ)

He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvelous works among all nations.

For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

Give unto the LORD, ye kindred of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
- Rendez à l'Éternel gloire pour son nom! Apportez des offrandes et venez en sa présence, Prosternez-vous devant l'Éternel avec de saints ornements! (Ⅱ) - δότε τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ δόξαν ὀνόματος αὐτου̃ λάβετε δω̃ρα καὶ ἐνέγκατε κατὰ πρόσωπον αὐτου̃ καὶ προσκυνήσατε τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐν αὐλαι̃ς ἁγίαις αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Date Domino gloriam ;/ nomini ejus levate sacrificium,/ et venite in conspectu ejus :/ et adorate Dominum in decore sancto./ (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃16 הבו ליהוה כבוד שמו שאו מנחה ובאו לפניו השתחוו ליהוה בהדרת קדש (Ⅴ)

Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
- Tremblez devant lui, vous tous habitants de la terre! Le monde est affermi, il ne chancelle point. (Ⅱ) - φοβηθήτω ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ πα̃σα ἡ γη̃ κατορθωθήτω ἡ γη̃ καὶ μὴ σαλευθήτω (Ⅲ) - Commoveatur a facie ejus omnis terra :/ ipse enim fundavit orbem immobilem./ (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃16 חילו מלפניו כל הארץ אף תכון תבל בל תמוט (Ⅴ)

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
- Que les cieux se réjouissent, et que la terre soit dans l'allégresse! Que l'on dise parmi les nations: L'Éternel règne! Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
- Que la mer retentisse avec tout ce qu'elle contient! Que la campagne s'égaie avec tout ce qu'elle renferme! (Ⅱ) - βομβήσει ἡ θάλασσα σὺν τω̨̃ πληρώματι καὶ ξύλον ἀγρου̃ καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Tonet mare et plenitudo ejus ;/ exultent agri, et omnia quæ in eis sunt./ (Ⅳ) - 32 ׃16 ירעם הים ומלואו יעלץ השדה וכל אשר בו (Ⅴ)

Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
- Que les arbres des forêts poussent des cris de joie Devant l'Éternel! Car il vient pour juger la terre. (Ⅱ) - τότε εὐφρανθήσεται τὰ ξύλα του̃ δρυμου̃ ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου ὅτι ἠ̃λθεν κρι̃ναι τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅲ) - Tunc laudabunt ligna saltus coram Domino :/ quia venit judicare terram./ (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃16 אז ירננו עצי היער מלפני יהוה כי בא לשפוט את הארץ (Ⅴ)

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
- Louez l'Éternel, car il est bon, Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours! (Ⅱ) - ἐξομολογει̃σθε τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ὅτι ἀγαθόν ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να τὸ ἔλεος αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus :/ quoniam in æternum misericordia ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 34 ׃16 הודו ליהוה כי טוב כי לעולם חסדו (Ⅴ)

And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

(Ⅱ) - καὶ εἴπατε σω̃σον ἡμα̃ς ὁ θεὸς τη̃ς σωτηρίας ἡμω̃ν καὶ ἐξελου̃ ἡμα̃ς ἐκ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν του̃ αἰνει̃ν τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιόν σου καὶ καυχα̃σθαι ἐν ται̃ς αἰνέσεσίν σου (Ⅲ) - Et dicite : Salva nos, Deus salvator noster,/ et congrega nos, et erue de gentibus :/ ut confiteamur nomini sancto tuo,/ et exultemus in carminibus tuis./ (Ⅳ) - 35 ׃16 ואמרו הושיענו אלהי ישענו וקבצנו והצילנו מן הגוים להדות לשם קדשך להשתבח בתהלתך (Ⅴ)

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
- Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, D'éternité en éternité! Et que tout le peuple dise: Amen! Louez l'Éternel! (Ⅱ) - εὐλογημένος κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ του̃ αἰω̃νος καὶ ἕως του̃ αἰω̃νος καὶ ἐρει̃ πα̃ς ὁ λαός αμην καὶ ἤ̨νεσαν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ (Ⅲ) - Benedictus Dominus Deus Israël,/ ab æterno usque in æternum.] Et dicat omnis populo : Amen, et hymnum Domino. So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
- David laissa là, devant l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel, Asaph et ses frères, afin qu'ils fussent continuellement de service devant l'arche, remplissant leur tâche jour par jour. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατέλιπον ἐκει̃ ἔναντι τη̃ς κιβωτου̃ διαθήκης κυρίου τὸν Ασαφ καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτου̃ του̃ λειτουργει̃ν ἐναντίον τη̃ς κιβωτου̃ διὰ παντὸς τὸ τη̃ς ἡμέρας εἰς ἡμέραν (Ⅲ) - Reliquit itaque ibi coram arca fœderis Domini Asaph et fratres ejus, ut ministrarent in conspectu arcæ jugiter per singulos dies, et vices suas. (Ⅳ) - 37 ׃16 ויעזב שם לפני ארון ברית יהוה לאסף ולאחיו לשרת לפני הארון תמיד לדבר יום ביומו (Ⅴ)

And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:
- Il laissa Obed Édom et Hosa avec leurs frères, au nombre de soixante-huit, Obed Édom, fils de Jeduthun, et Hosa, comme portiers. (Ⅱ) - καὶ Αβδεδομ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτου̃ ἑξήκοντα καὶ ὀκτώ καὶ Αβδεδομ υἱὸς Ιδιθων καὶ Οσσα εἰς πυλωρούς (Ⅲ) - Porro Obededom, et fratres ejus sexaginta octo : et Obededom filium Idithun, et Hosa, constituit janitores ; (Ⅳ) - 38 ׃16 ועבד אדם ואחיהם ששים ושמונה ועבד אדם בן ידיתון וחסה לשערים (Ⅴ)

And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
- Il établit le sacrificateur Tsadok et les sacrificateurs, ses frères, devant le tabernacle de l'Éternel, sur le haut lieu qui était à Gabaon, (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὸν Σαδωκ τὸν ἱερέα καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτου̃ τοὺς ἱερει̃ς ἐναντίον σκηνη̃ς κυρίου ἐν Βαμα τη̨̃ ἐν Γαβαων (Ⅲ) - Sadoc autem sacerdotem, et fratres ejus sacerdotes, coram tabernaculo Domini in excelso quod erat in Gabaon, (Ⅳ) - 39 ׃16 ואת צדוק הכהן ואחיו הכהנים לפני משכן יהוה בבמה אשר בגבעון (Ⅴ)

To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;
- pour qu'ils offrissent continuellement à l'Éternel des holocaustes, matin et soir, sur l'autel des holocaustes, et qu'ils accomplissent tout ce qui est écrit dans la loi de l'Éternel, imposée par l'Éternel à Israël. (Ⅱ) - του̃ ἀναφέρειν ὁλοκαυτώματα τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐπὶ του̃ θυσιαστηρίου τω̃ν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων διὰ παντὸς τὸ πρωὶ καὶ τὸ ἑσπέρας καὶ κατὰ πάντα τὰ γεγραμμένα ἐν νόμω̨ κυρίου ὅσα ἐνετείλατο ἐφ' υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ ἐν χειρὶ Μωυση̃ του̃ θεράποντος του̃ θεου̃ (Ⅲ) - ut offerrent holocausta Domino super altare holocautomatis jugiter, mane et vespere, juxta omnia quæ scripta sunt in lege Domini, quam præcepit Israëli. (Ⅳ) - 40 ׃16 להעלות עלות ליהוה על מזבח העלה תמיד לבקר ולערב ולכל הכתוב בתורת יהוה אשר צוה על ישראל (Ⅴ)

And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;
- Auprès d'eux étaient Héman et Jeduthun, et les autres qui avaient été choisis et désignés par leurs noms pour louer l'Éternel. Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μετ' αὐτου̃ Αιμαν καὶ Ιδιθων καὶ οἱ λοιποὶ ἐκλεγέντες ἐπ' ὀνόματος του̃ αἰνει̃ν τὸν κύριον ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να τὸ ἔλεος αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et post eum Heman, et Idithun, et reliquos electos, unumquemque vocabulo suo ad confitendum Domino, quoniam in æternum misericordia ejus. (Ⅳ) - 41 ׃16 ועמהם הימן וידותון ושאר הברורים אשר נקבו בשמות להדות ליהוה כי לעולם חסדו (Ⅴ)

And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
- Auprès d'eux étaient Héman et Jeduthun, avec des trompettes et des cymbales pour ceux qui les faisaient retentir, et avec des instruments pour les cantiques en l'honneur de Dieu. Les fils de Jeduthun étaient portiers. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μετ' αὐτω̃ν σάλπιγγες καὶ κύμβαλα του̃ ἀναφωνει̃ν καὶ ὄργανα τω̃ν ὠ̨δω̃ν του̃ θεου̃ υἱοὶ Ιδιθων εἰς τὴν πύλην (Ⅲ) - Heman quoque et Idithun canentes tuba, et quatientes cymbala et omnia musicorum organa ad canendum Deo : filios autem Idithun fecit esse portarios. (Ⅳ) - 42 ׃16 ועמהם הימן וידותון חצצרות ומצלתים למשמיעים וכלי שיר האלהים ובני ידותון לשער (Ⅴ)

And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
- Tout le peuple s'en alla chacun dans sa maison, et David s'en retourna pour bénir sa maison. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἅπας ὁ λαὸς ἕκαστος εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κον αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν Δαυιδ του̃ εὐλογη̃σαι τὸν οἰ̃κον αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Reversusque est omnis populus in domum suam : et David, ut benediceret etiam domui suæ. (Ⅳ) - 43 ׃16 וילכו כל העם איש לביתו ויסב דויד לברך את ביתו פ (Ⅴ)
