For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:

That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.
- Que tes yeux soient ouverts sur la supplication de ton serviteur et sur la supplication de ton peuple d'Israël, pour les exaucer en tout ce qu'ils te demanderont! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔστωσαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου καὶ τὰ ὠ̃τά σου ἠνεω̨γμένα εἰς τὴν δέησιν του̃ δούλου σου καὶ εἰς τὴν δέησιν του̃ λαου̃ σου Ισραηλ εἰσακούειν αὐτω̃ν ἐν πα̃σιν οἱ̃ς ἂν ἐπικαλέσωνταί σε (Ⅲ) - Ut sint oculi tui aperti ad deprecationem servi tui, et populi tui Israël, et exaudias eos in universis pro quibus invocaverint te. (Ⅳ) - 52 ׃8 להיות עיניך פתחות אל תחנת עבדך ואל תחנת עמך ישראל לשמע אליהם בכל קראם אליך (Ⅴ)

For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O LORD God.
- Car tu les as séparés de tous les autres peuples de la terre pour en faire ton héritage, comme tu l'as déclaré par Moïse, ton serviteur, quand tu fis sortir d'Égypte nos pères, Seigneur Éternel! (Ⅱ) - ὅτι σὺ διέστειλας αὐτοὺς σαυτω̨̃ εἰς κληρονομίαν ἐκ πάντων τω̃ν λαω̃ν τη̃ς γη̃ς καθὼς ἐλάλησας ἐν χειρὶ δούλου σου Μωυση̃ ἐν τω̨̃ ἐξαγαγει̃ν σε τοὺς πατέρας ἡμω̃ν ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου κύριε κύριε (Ⅲ) - Tu enim separasti eos tibi in hæreditatem de universis populis terræ, sicut locutus es per Moysen servum tuum quando eduxisti patres nostros de Ægypto, Domine Deus.\ (Ⅳ) - 53 ׃8 כי אתה הבדלתם לך לנחלה מכל עמי הארץ כאשר דברת ביד משה עבדך בהוציאך את אבתינו ממצרים אדני יהוה פ (Ⅴ)

And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
- Lorsque Salomon eut achevé d'adresser à l'Éternel toute cette prière et cette supplication, il se leva de devant l'autel de l'Éternel, où il était agenouillé, les mains étendues vers le ciel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς συνετέλεσεν Σαλωμων προσευχόμενος πρὸς κύριον ὅλην τὴν προσευχὴν καὶ τὴν δέησιν ταύτην καὶ ἀνέστη ἀπὸ προσώπου του̃ θυσιαστηρίου κυρίου ὀκλακὼς ἐπὶ τὰ γόνατα αὐτου̃ καὶ αἱ χει̃ρες αὐτου̃ διαπεπετασμέναι εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν (Ⅲ) - Factum est autem, cum complesset Salomon orans Dominum omnem orationem et deprecationem hanc, surrexit de conspectu altaris Domini : utrumque enim genu in terram fixerat, et manus expanderat in cælum. (Ⅳ) - 54 ׃8 ויהי ככלות שלמה להתפלל אל יהוה את כל התפלה והתחנה הזאת קם מלפני מזבח יהוה מכרע על ברכיו וכפיו פרשות השמים (Ⅴ)

And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying,
- Debout, il bénit à haute voix toute l'assemblée d'Israël, en disant: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔστη καὶ εὐλόγησεν πα̃σαν ἐκκλησίαν Ισραηλ φωνη̨̃ μεγάλη̨ λέγων (Ⅲ) - Stetit ergo, et benedixit omni ecclesiæ Israël voce magna, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 55 ׃8 ויעמד ויברך את כל קהל ישראל קול גדול לאמר (Ⅴ)

Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
- Béni soit l'Éternel, qui a donné du repos à son peuple d'Israël, selon toutes ses promesses! De toutes les bonnes paroles qu'il avait prononcées par Moïse, son serviteur, aucune n'est restée sans effet. (Ⅱ) - εὐλογητὸς κύριος σήμερον ὃς ἔδωκεν κατάπαυσιν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ αὐτου̃ Ισραηλ κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐλάλησεν οὐ διεφώνησεν λόγος εἱ̃ς ἐν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς λόγοις αὐτου̃ τοι̃ς ἀγαθοι̃ς οἱ̃ς ἐλάλησεν ἐν χειρὶ Μωυση̃ δούλου αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Benedictus Dominus, qui dedit requiem populo suo Israël, juxta omnia quæ locutus est : non cecidit ne unus quidem sermo ex omnibus bonis quæ locutus est per Moysen servum suum. (Ⅳ) - 56 ׃8 ברוך יהוה אשר נתן מנוחה לעמו ישראל ככל אשר דבר לא נפל דבר אחד מכל דברו הטוב אשר דבר ביד משה עבדו (Ⅴ)

The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:
- Que l'Éternel, notre Dieu, soit avec nous, comme il a été avec nos pères; qu'il ne nous abandonne point et ne nous délaisse point, (Ⅱ) - γένοιτο κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμω̃ν μεθ' ἡμω̃ν καθὼς ἠ̃ν μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων ἡμω̃ν μὴ ἐγκαταλίποιτο ἡμα̃ς μηδὲ ἀποστρέψοιτο ἡμα̃ς (Ⅲ) - Sit Dominus Deus noster nobiscum, sicut fuit cum patribus nostris, non derelinquens nos, neque projiciens. (Ⅳ) - 57 ׃8 יהי יהוה אלהינו עמנו כאשר היה עם אבתינו אל יעזבנו ואל יטשנו (Ⅴ)

That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.
- mais qu'il incline nos coeurs vers lui, afin que nous marchions dans toutes ses voies, et que nous observions ses commandements, ses lois et ses ordonnances, qu'il a prescrits à nos pères! (Ⅱ) - ἐπικλι̃ναι καρδίας ἡμω̃ν πρὸς αὐτὸν του̃ πορεύεσθαι ἐν πάσαις ὁδοι̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ φυλάσσειν πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτου̃ καὶ προστάγματα αὐτου̃ ἃ ἐνετείλατο τοι̃ς πατράσιν ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Sed inclinet corda nostra ad se, ut ambulemus in universis viis ejus, et custodiamus mandata ejus, et cæremonias ejus, et judicia quæcumque mandavit patribus nostris. (Ⅳ) - 58 ׃8 להטות לבבנו אליו ללכת בכל דרכיו ולשמר מצותיו וחקיו ומשפטיו אשר צוה את אבתינו (Ⅴ)

And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
- Que ces paroles, objet de mes supplications devant l'Éternel, soient jour et nuit présentes à l'Éternel, notre Dieu, et qu'il fasse en tout temps droit à son serviteur et à son peuple d'Israël, (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔστωσαν οἱ λόγοι οὑ̃τοι οὓς δεδέημαι ἐνώπιον κυρίου θεου̃ ἡμω̃ν ἐγγίζοντες πρὸς κύριον θεὸν ἡμω̃ν ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτὸς του̃ ποιει̃ν τὸ δικαίωμα του̃ δούλου σου καὶ τὸ δικαίωμα λαου̃ σου Ισραηλ ῥη̃μα ἡμέρας ἐν ἡμέρα̨ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et sint sermones mei isti, quibus deprecatus sum coram Domino, appropinquantes Domino Deo nostro die ac nocte, ut faciat judicium servo suo, et populo suo Israël per singulos dies : (Ⅳ) - 59 ׃8 ויהיו דברי אלה אשר התחננתי לפני יהוה קרבים אל יהוה אלהינו יומם ולילה לעשות משפט עבדו ומשפט עמו ישראל דבר יום ביומו (Ⅴ)

That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.
- afin que tous les peuples de la terre reconnaissent que l'Éternel est Dieu, qu'il n'y en a point d'autre! (Ⅱ) - ὅπως γνω̃σιν πάντες οἱ λαοὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός αὐτὸς θεὸς καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι (Ⅲ) - ut sciant omnes populi terræ quia Dominus ipse est Deus, et non est ultra absque eo. (Ⅳ) - 60 ׃8 למען דעת כל עמי הארץ כי יהוה הוא האלהים אין עוד (Ⅴ)

Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
- Que votre coeur soit tout à l'Éternel, notre Dieu, comme il l'est aujourd'hui, pour suivre ses lois et pour observer ses commandements. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔστωσαν αἱ καρδίαι ἡμω̃ν τέλειαι πρὸς κύριον θεὸν ἡμω̃ν καὶ ὁσίως πορεύεσθαι ἐν τοι̃ς προστάγμασιν αὐτου̃ καὶ φυλάσσειν ἐντολὰς αὐτου̃ ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη (Ⅲ) - Sit quoque cor nostrum perfectum cum Domino Deo nostro, ut ambulemus in decretis ejus, et custodiamus mandata ejus, sicut et hodie.\ (Ⅳ) - 61 ׃8 והיה לבבכם שלם עם יהוה אלהינו ללכת בחקיו ולשמר מצותיו כיום הזה (Ⅴ)

And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD.
- Le roi et tout Israël avec lui offrirent des sacrifices devant l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ πάντες οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἔθυσαν θυσίαν ἐνώπιον κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Igitur rex, et omnis Israël cum eo, immolabant victimas coram Domino. (Ⅳ) - 62 ׃8 והמלך וכל ישראל עמו זבחים זבח לפני יהוה (Ⅴ)

And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.
- Salomon immola vingt-deux mille boeufs et cent vingt mille brebis pour le sacrifice d'actions de grâces qu'il offrit à l'Éternel. Ainsi le roi et tous les enfants d'Israël firent la dédicace de la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔθυσεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Σαλωμων τὰς θυσίας τω̃ν εἰρηνικω̃ν ἃς ἔθυσεν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ βοω̃ν δύο καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδας καὶ προβάτων ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι χιλιάδας καὶ ἐνεκαίνισεν τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ πάντες οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Mactavitque Salomon hostias pacificas, quas immolavit Domino, boum viginti duo millia, et ovium centum viginti millia : et dedicaverunt templum Domini rex et filii Israël. (Ⅳ) - 63 ׃8 ויזבח שלמה את זבח השלמים אשר זבח ליהוה בקר עשרים ושנים אלף וצאן מאה ועשרים אלף ויחנכו את בית יהוה המלך וכל בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brazen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.
- En ce jour, le roi consacra le milieu du parvis, qui est devant la maison de l'Éternel; car il offrit là les holocaustes, les offrandes, et les graisses des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, parce que l'autel d'airain qui est devant l'Éternel était trop petit pour contenir les holocaustes, les offrandes, et les graisses des sacrifices d'actions de grâces. (Ⅱ) - τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ἡγίασεν ὁ βασιλεὺς τὸ μέσον τη̃ς αὐλη̃ς τὸ κατὰ πρόσωπον του̃ οἴκου κυρίου ὅτι ἐποίησεν ἐκει̃ τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ τὰς θυσίας καὶ τὰ στέατα τω̃ν εἰρηνικω̃ν ὅτι τὸ θυσιαστήριον τὸ χαλκου̃ν τὸ ἐνώπιον κυρίου μικρὸν του̃ μὴ δύνασθαι τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ τὰς θυσίας τω̃ν εἰρηνικω̃ν ὑπενεγκει̃ν (Ⅲ) - In die illa sanctificavit rex medium atrii quod erat ante domum Domini : fecit quippe holocaustum ibi, et sacrificium, et adipem pacificorum : quoniam altare æreum quod erat coram Domino, minus erat, et capere non poterat holocaustum, et sacrificium, et adipem pacificorum. (Ⅳ) - 64 ׃8 ביום ההוא קדש המלך את תוך החצר אשר לפני בית יהוה כי עשה שם את העלה ואת המנחה ואת חלבי השלמים כי מזבח הנחשת אשר לפני יהוה קטן מהכיל את העלה ואת המנחה ואת חלבי השלמים (Ⅴ)

And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.
- Salomon célébra la fête en ce temps-là, et tout Israël avec lui. Une grande multitude, venue depuis les environs de Hamath jusqu'au torrent d'Égypte, s'assembla devant l'Éternel, notre Dieu, pendant sept jours, et sept autres jours, soit quatorze jours. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν Σαλωμων τὴν ἑορτὴν ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ καὶ πα̃ς Ισραηλ μετ' αὐτου̃ ἐκκλησία μεγάλη ἀπὸ τη̃ς εἰσόδου Ημαθ ἕως ποταμου̃ Αἰγύπτου ἐνώπιον κυρίου θεου̃ ἡμω̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ ὡ̨̃ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν ἐσθίων καὶ πίνων καὶ εὐφραινόμενος ἐνώπιον κυρίου θεου̃ ἡμω̃ν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας (Ⅲ) - Fecit ergo Salomon in tempore illo festivitatem celebrem, et omnis Israël cum eo, multitudo magna ab introitu Emath usque ad rivum Ægypti, coram Domino Deo nostro, septem diebus et septem diebus, id est, quatuordecim diebus. (Ⅳ) - 65 ׃8 ויעש שלמה בעת ההיא את החג וכל ישראל עמו קהל גדול מלבוא חמת עד נחל מצרים לפני יהוה אלהינו שבעת ימים ושבעת ימים ארבעה עשר יום (Ⅴ)

On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
- Le huitième jour, il renvoya le peuple. Et ils bénirent le roi, et s'en allèrent dans leurs tentes, joyeux et le coeur content pour tout le bien que l'Éternel avait fait à David, son serviteur, et à Israël, son peuple. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ ὀγδόη̨ ἐξαπέστειλεν τὸν λαὸν καὶ εὐλόγησεν αὐτόν καὶ ἀπη̃λθον ἕκαστος εἰς τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτου̃ χαίροντες καὶ ἀγαθη̨̃ καρδία̨ ἐπὶ τοι̃ς ἀγαθοι̃ς οἱ̃ς ἐποίησεν κύριος τω̨̃ Δαυιδ δούλω̨ αὐτου̃ καὶ τω̨̃ Ισραηλ λαω̨̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et in die octava dimisit populos : qui benedicentes regi, profecti sunt in tabernacula sua lætantes, et alacri corde super omnibus bonis quæ fecerat Dominus David servo suo, et Israël populo suo. (Ⅳ) - 66 ׃8 ביום השמיני שלח את העם ויברכו את המלך וילכו לאהליהם שמחים וטובי לב על כל הטובה אשר עשה יהוה לדוד עבדו ולישראל עמו (Ⅴ)
