And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
- David dit: Reste-t-il encore quelqu'un de la maison de Saül, pour que je lui fasse du bien à cause de Jonathan? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Δαυιδ εἰ ἔστιν ἔτι ὑπολελειμμένος τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Σαουλ καὶ ποιήσω μετ' αὐτου̃ ἔλεος ἕνεκεν Ιωναθαν (Ⅲ) - Et dixit David : Putasne est aliquis qui remanserit de domo Saul, ut faciam cum eo misericordiam propter Jonathan ? (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃9 ויאמר דוד הכי יש עוד אשר נותר לבית שאול ואעשה עמו חסד בעבור יהונתן (Ⅴ)

And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
- Il y avait un serviteur de la maison de Saül, nommé Tsiba, que l'on fit venir auprès de David. Le roi lui dit: Es-tu Tsiba? Et il répondit: Ton serviteur! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκ του̃ οἴκου Σαουλ παι̃ς ἠ̃ν καὶ ὄνομα αὐτω̨̃ Σιβα καὶ καλου̃σιν αὐτὸν πρὸς Δαυιδ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ βασιλεύς εἰ σὺ εἰ̃ Σιβα καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἐγὼ δου̃λος σός (Ⅲ) - Erat autem de domo Saul servus nomine Siba : quem cum vocasset rex ad se, dixit ei : Tune es Siba ? Et ille respondit : Ego sum servus tuus. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃9 ולבית שאול עבד ושמו ציבא ויקראו לו אל דוד ויאמר המלך אליו האתה ציבא ויאמר עבדך (Ⅴ)

And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
- Le roi dit: N'y a-t-il plus personne de la maison de Saül, pour que j'use envers lui de la bonté de Dieu? Et Tsiba répondit au roi: Il y a encore un fils de Jonathan, perclus des pieds. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ βασιλεύς εἰ ὑπολέλειπται ἐκ του̃ οἴκου Σαουλ ἔτι ἀνὴρ καὶ ποιήσω μετ' αὐτου̃ ἔλεος θεου̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σιβα πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα ἔτι ἔστιν υἱὸς τω̨̃ Ιωναθαν πεπληγὼς τοὺς πόδας (Ⅲ) - Et ait rex : Numquid superest aliquis de domo Saul, ut faciam cum eo misericordiam Dei ? Dixitque Siba regi : Superest filius Jonathæ, debilis pedibus. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃9 ויאמר המלך האפס עוד איש לבית שאול ואעשה עמו חסד אלהים ויאמר ציבא אל המלך עוד בן ליהונתן נכה רגלים (Ⅴ)

And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar.
- Le roi lui dit: Où est-il? Et Tsiba répondit au roi: Il est dans la maison de Makir, fils d'Ammiel, à Lodebar. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ βασιλεύς που̃ οὑ̃τος καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σιβα πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα ἰδοὺ ἐν οἴκω̨ Μαχιρ υἱου̃ Αμιηλ ἐκ τη̃ς Λαδαβαρ (Ⅲ) - Ubi, inquit, est ? Et Siba ad regem : Ecce, ait, in domo est Machir filii Ammiel, in Lodabar. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃9 ויאמר לו המלך איפה הוא ויאמר ציבא אל המלך הנה הוא בית מכיר בן עמיאל בלו דבר (Ⅴ)

Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.
- Le roi David l'envoya chercher dans la maison de Makir, fils d'Ammiel, à Lodebar. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Δαυιδ καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὸν ἐκ του̃ οἴκου Μαχιρ υἱου̃ Αμιηλ ἐκ τη̃ς Λαδαβαρ (Ⅲ) - Misit ergo rex David, et tulit eum de domo Machir filii Ammiel, de Lodabar. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃9 וישלח המלך דוד ויקחהו מבית מכיר בן עמיאל מלו דבר (Ⅴ)

Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!
- Et Mephiboscheth, fils de Jonathan, fils de Saül, vint auprès de David, tomba sur sa face et se prosterna. David dit: Mephiboscheth! Et il répondit: Voici ton serviteur. (Ⅱ) - καὶ παραγίνεται Μεμφιβοσθε υἱὸς Ιωναθαν υἱου̃ Σαουλ πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Δαυιδ καὶ ἔπεσεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτου̃ καὶ προσεκύνησεν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Δαυιδ Μεμφιβοσθε καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἰδοὺ ὁ δου̃λός σου (Ⅲ) - Cum autem venisset Miphiboseth filius Jonathæ filii Saul ad David, corruit in faciem suam, et adoravit. Dixitque David : Miphiboseth ? Qui respondit : Adsum servus tuus. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃9 ויבא מפיבשת בן יהונתן בן שאול אל דוד ויפל על פניו וישתחו ויאמר דוד מפיבשת ויאמר הנה עבדך (Ⅴ)

And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
- David lui dit: Ne crains point, car je veux te faire du bien à cause de Jonathan, ton père. Je te rendrai toutes les terres de Saül, ton père, et tu mangeras toujours à ma table. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Δαυιδ μὴ φοβου̃ ὅτι ποιω̃ν ποιήσω μετὰ σου̃ ἔλεος διὰ Ιωναθαν τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ ἀποκαταστήσω σοι πάντα ἀγρὸν Σαουλ πατρὸς του̃ πατρός σου καὶ σὺ φάγη̨ ἄρτον ἐπὶ τη̃ς τραπέζης μου διὰ παντός (Ⅲ) - Et ait ei David : Ne timeas, quia faciens faciam in te misericordiam propter Jonathan patrem tuum, et restituam tibi omnes agros Saul patris tui : et tu comedes panem in mensa mea semper. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃9 ויאמר לו דוד אל תירא כי עשה אעשה עמך חסד בעבור יהונתן אביך והשבתי לך את כל שדה שאול אביך ואתה תאכל לחם על שלחני תמיד (Ⅴ)

And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
- Il se prosterna, et dit: Qu'est ton serviteur, pour que tu regardes un chien mort, tel que moi? (Ⅱ) - καὶ προσεκύνησεν Μεμφιβοσθε καὶ εἰ̃πεν τίς εἰμι ὁ δου̃λός σου ὅτι ἐπέβλεψας ἐπὶ τὸν κύνα τὸν τεθνηκότα τὸν ὅμοιον ἐμοί (Ⅲ) - Qui adorans eum, dixit : Quis ego sum servus tuus, quoniam respexisti super canem mortuum similem mei ? (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃9 וישתחו ויאמר מה עבדך כי פנית אל הכלב המת אשר כמוני (Ⅴ)

Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.
- Le roi appela Tsiba, serviteur de Saül, et lui dit: Je donne au fils de ton maître tout ce qui appartenait à Saül et à toute sa maison. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Σιβα τὸ παιδάριον Σαουλ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτόν πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν τω̨̃ Σαουλ καὶ ὅλω̨ τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ αὐτου̃ δέδωκα τω̨̃ υἱω̨̃ του̃ κυρίου σου (Ⅲ) - Vocavit itaque rex Sibam puerum Saul, et dixit ei : Omnia quæcumque fuerunt Saul, et universam domum ejus, dedi filio domini tui. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃9 ויקרא המלך אל ציבא נער שאול ויאמר אליו כל אשר היה לשאול ולכל ביתו נתתי לבן אדניך (Ⅴ)

Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
- Tu cultiveras pour lui les terres, toi, tes fils, et tes serviteurs, et tu feras les récoltes, afin que le fils de ton maître ait du pain à manger; et Mephiboscheth, fils de ton maître, mangera toujours à ma table. Or Tsiba avait quinze fils et vingt serviteurs. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐργα̨̃ αὐτω̨̃ τὴν γη̃ν σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ οἱ δου̃λοί σου καὶ εἰσοίσεις τω̨̃ υἱω̨̃ του̃ κυρίου σου ἄρτους καὶ ἔδεται αὐτούς καὶ Μεμφιβοσθε υἱὸς του̃ κυρίου σου φάγεται διὰ παντὸς ἄρτον ἐπὶ τη̃ς τραπέζης μου καὶ τω̨̃ Σιβα ἠ̃σαν πεντεκαίδεκα υἱοὶ καὶ εἴκοσι δου̃λοι (Ⅲ) - Operare igitur ei terram tu, et filii tui, et servi tui, et inferes filio domini tui cibos ut alatur : Miphiboseth autem filius domini tui comedet semper panem super mensam meam. Erant autem Sibæ quindecim filii, et viginti servi. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃9 ועבדת לו את האדמה אתה ובניך ועבדיך והבאת והיה לבן אדניך לחם ואכלו ומפיבשת בן אדניך יאכל תמיד לחם על שלחני ולציבא חמשה עשר בנים ועשרים עבדים (Ⅴ)

Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
- Il dit au roi: Ton serviteur fera tout ce que le roi mon seigneur ordonne à son serviteur. Et Mephiboscheth mangea à la table de David, comme l'un des fils du roi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σιβα πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐντέταλται ὁ κύριός μου ὁ βασιλεὺς τω̨̃ δούλω̨ αὐτου̃ οὕτως ποιήσει ὁ δου̃λός σου καὶ Μεμφιβοσθε ἤσθιεν ἐπὶ τη̃ς τραπέζης Δαυιδ καθὼς εἱ̃ς τω̃ν υἱω̃ν του̃ βασιλέως (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Siba ad regem : Sicut jussisti, domine mi rex, servo tuo, sic faciet servus tuus : et Miphiboseth comedet super mensam meam, quasi unus de filiis regis. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃9 ויאמר ציבא אל המלך ככל אשר יצוה אדני המלך את עבדו כן יעשה עבדך ומפיבשת אכל על שלחני כאחד מבני המלך (Ⅴ)

And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
- Mephiboscheth avait un jeune fils, nommé Mica, et tous ceux qui demeuraient dans la maison de Tsiba étaient serviteurs de Mephiboscheth. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τω̨̃ Μεμφιβοσθε υἱὸς μικρὸς καὶ ὄνομα αὐτω̨̃ Μιχα καὶ πα̃σα ἡ κατοίκησις του̃ οἴκου Σιβα δου̃λοι του̃ Μεμφιβοσθε (Ⅲ) - Habebat autem Miphiboseth filium parvulum nomine Micha : omnis vero cognatio domus Sibæ serviebat Miphiboseth. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃9 ולמפיבשת בן קטן ושמו מיכא וכל מושב בית ציבא עבדים למפיבשת (Ⅴ)

So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet.
- Mephiboscheth habitait à Jérusalem, car il mangeait toujours à la table du roi. Il était boiteux des deux pieds. (Ⅱ) - καὶ Μεμφιβοσθε κατώ̨κει ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ὅτι ἐπὶ τη̃ς τραπέζης του̃ βασιλέως διὰ παντὸς ἤσθιεν καὶ αὐτὸς ἠ̃ν χωλὸς ἀμφοτέροις τοι̃ς ποσὶν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Porro Miphiboseth habitabat in Jerusalem, quia de mensa regis jugiter vescebatur : et erat claudus utroque pede. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃9 ומפיבשת ישב בירושלם כי על שלחן המלך תמיד הוא אכל והוא פסח שתי רגליו פ (Ⅴ)
