Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
- En ce jour-là, Débora chanta ce cantique, avec Barak, fils d'Abinoam: (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἠ̨̃σαν Δεββωρα καὶ Βαρακ υἱὸς Αβινεεμ ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ λέγοντες (Ⅲ)
- Cecineruntque Debbora et Barac filius Abinoëm in illo die, dicentes : (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃5   ותשר דבורה וברק בן אבינעם ביום ההוא לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 2  
Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
- Des chefs se sont mis à la tête du peuple en Israël, Et le peuple s'est montré prêt à combattre: Bénissez-en l'Éternel! (Ⅱ)
- ἀπεκαλύφθη ἀποκάλυμμα ἐν Ισραηλ ἐν τω̨̃ ἑκουσιασθη̃ναι λαὸν εὐλογει̃τε κύριον (Ⅲ)
- Qui sponte obtulistis de Israël animas vestras ad periculum,/ benedicite Domino./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃5   בפרע פרעות בישראל בהתנדב עם ברכו יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 3  
Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
- Rois, écoutez! Princes, prêtez l'oreille! Je chanterai, oui, je chanterai à l'Éternel, Je chanterai à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. (Ⅱ)
- ἀκούσατε βασιλει̃ς καὶ ἐνωτίσασθε σατράπαι ἐγώ εἰμι τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐγώ εἰμι ἄ̨σομαι ψαλω̃ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- Audite, reges ; auribus percipite, principes :/ ego sum, ego sum, quæ Domino canam,/ psallam Domino Deo Israël./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃5   שמעו מלכים האזינו רזנים אנכי ליהוה אנכי אשירה אזמר ליהוה אלהי ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 4  
LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water.
- O Éternel! quand tu sortis de Séir, Quand tu t'avanças des champs d'Édom, La terre trembla, et les cieux se fondirent Et les nuées se fondirent en eaux; (Ⅱ)
- κύριε ἐν τη̨̃ ἐξόδω̨ σου ἐν Σηιρ ἐν τω̨̃ ἀπαίρειν σε ἐξ ἀγρου̃ Εδωμ γη̃ ἐσείσθη καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς ἔσταξεν δρόσους καὶ αἱ νεφέλαι ἔσταξαν ὕδωρ (Ⅲ)
- Domine, cum exires de Seir,/ et transires per regiones Edom,/ terra mota est,/ cælique ac nubes distillaverunt aquis./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃5   יהוה בצאתך משעיר בצעדך משדה אדום ארץ רעשה גם שמים נטפו גם עבים נטפו מים ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 5  
The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
- Les montagnes s'ébranlèrent devant l'Éternel, Ce Sinaï devant l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. (Ⅱ)
- ὄρη ἐσαλεύθησαν ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου Ελωι του̃το Σινα ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου θεου̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- Montes fluxerunt a facie Domini,/ et Sinai a facie Domini Dei Israël./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃5   הרים נזלו מפני יהוה זה סיני מפני יהוה אלהי ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 6  
In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways.
- Au temps de Schamgar, fils d'Anath, Au temps de Jaël, les routes étaient abandonnées, Et ceux qui voyageaient prenaient des chemins détournés. (Ⅱ)
- ἐν ἡμέραις Σαμεγαρ υἱου̃ Αναθ ἐν ἡμέραις Ιαηλ ἐξέλιπον ὁδοὺς καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ἀτραπούς ἐπορεύθησαν ὁδοὺς διεστραμμένας (Ⅲ)
- In diebus Samgar filii Anath,/ in diebus Jahel quieverunt semitæ :/ et qui ingrediebantur per eas,/ ambulaverunt per calles devios./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃5   בימי שמגר בן ענת בימי יעל חדלו ארחות והלכי נתיבות ילכו ארחות עקלקלות ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 7  
The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.
- Les chefs étaient sans force en Israël, sans force, Quand je me suis levée, moi, Débora, Quand je me suis levée comme une mère en Israël. (Ⅱ)
- ἐξέλιπον δυνατοὶ ἐν Ισραηλ ἐξέλιπον ἕως οὑ̃ ἀναστη̨̃ Δεββωρα ἕως οὑ̃ ἀναστη̨̃ μήτηρ ἐν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- Cessaverunt fortes in Israël, et quieverunt :/ donec surgeret Debbora,/ surgeret mater in Israël./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃5   חדלו פרזון בישראל חדלו עד שקמתי דבורה שקמתי אם בישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 8  
They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
- Il avait choisi de nouveaux dieux: Alors la guerre était aux portes; On ne voyait ni bouclier ni lance Chez quarante milliers en Israël. (Ⅱ)
- ἐξελέξαντο θεοὺς καινούς τότε ἐπολέμησαν πόλεις ἀρχόντων θυρεὸς ἐὰν ὀφθη̨̃ καὶ λόγχη ἐν τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάσιν ἐν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- Nova bella elegit Dominus,/ et portas hostium ipse subvertit :/ clypeus et hasta si apparuerint/ in quadraginta millibus Israël.]\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃5   יבחר אלהים חדשים אז לחם שערים מגן אם יראה ורמח בארבעים אלף בישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 9  
My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD.
- Mon coeur est aux chefs d'Israël, A ceux du peuple qui se sont montrés prêts à combattre. Bénissez l'Éternel! (Ⅱ)
- ἡ καρδία μου εἰς τὰ διατεταγμένα τω̨̃ Ισραηλ οἱ ἑκουσιαζόμενοι ἐν λαω̨̃ εὐλογει̃τε κύριον (Ⅲ)
- Cor meum diligit principes Israël :/ qui propria voluntate obtulistis vos discrimini,/ benedicite Domino./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃5   לבי לחוקקי ישראל המתנדבים בעם ברכו יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 10  
Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
- Vous qui montez de blanches ânesses, Vous qui avez pour sièges des tapis, Et vous qui marchez sur la route, chantez! (Ⅱ)
- ἐπιβεβηκότες ἐπὶ ὄνου θηλείας μεσημβρίας καθήμενοι ἐπὶ κριτηρίου καὶ πορευόμενοι ἐπὶ ὁδοὺς συνέδρων ἐφ' ὁδω̨̃ (Ⅲ)
- Qui ascenditis super nitentes asinos,/ et sedetis in judicio,/ et ambulatis in via,/ loquimini./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃5   רכבי אתנות צחרות ישבי על מדין והלכי על דרך שיחו ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 11  
They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.
- Que de leur voix les archers, du milieu des abreuvoirs, Célèbrent les bienfaits de l'Éternel, Les bienfaits de son conducteur en Israël! Alors le peuple de l'Éternel descendit aux portes. (Ⅱ)
- διηγει̃σθε ἀπὸ φωνη̃ς ἀνακρουομένων ἀνὰ μέσον ὑδρευομένων ἐκει̃ δώσουσιν δικαιοσύνας κυρίω̨ δικαιοσύνας αὔξησον ἐν Ισραηλ τότε κατέβη εἰς τὰς πόλεις λαὸς κυρίου (Ⅲ)
- Ubi collisi sunt currus,/ et hostium suffocatus est exercitus,/ ibi narrentur justitiæ Domini,/ et clementia in fortes Israël :/ tunc descendit populus Domini ad portas,/ et obtinuit principatum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃5   מקול מחצצים בין משאבים שם יתנו צדקות יהוה צדקת פרזנו בישראל אז ירדו לשערים עם יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 12  
Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
- Réveille-toi, réveille-toi, Débora! Réveille-toi, réveille-toi, dis un cantique! Lève-toi, Barak, et emmène tes captifs, fils d'Abinoam! (Ⅱ)
- ἐξεγείρου ἐξεγείρου Δεββωρα ἐξεγείρου ἐξεγείρου λάλησον ὠ̨δήν ἀνάστα Βαρακ καὶ αἰχμαλώτισον αἰχμαλωσίαν σου υἱὸς Αβινεεμ (Ⅲ)
- Surge, surge Debbora ;/ surge, surge, et loquere canticum :/ surge Barac, et apprehende captivos tuos, fili Abinoëm./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃5   עורי עורי דבורה עורי עורי דברי שיר קום ברק ושבה שביך בן אבינעם ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 13  
Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.
- Alors un reste du peuple triompha des puissants, L'Éternel me donna la victoire sur les héros. (Ⅱ)
- τότε κατέβη κατάλειμμα τοι̃ς ἰσχυροι̃ς λαὸς κυρίου κατέβη αὐτω̨̃ ἐν τοι̃ς κραταιοι̃ς (Ⅲ)
- Salvatæ sunt reliquiæ populi :/ Dominus in fortibus dimicavit./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃5   אז ירד שריד לאדירים עם יהוה ירד לי בגבורים ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 14  
Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
- D'Éphraïm arrivèrent les habitants d'Amalek. A ta suite marcha Benjamin parmi ta troupe. De Makir vinrent des chefs, Et de Zabulon des commandants. (Ⅱ)
- ἐξ ἐμου̃ Εφραιμ ἐξερρίζωσεν αὐτοὺς ἐν τω̨̃ Αμαληκ ὀπίσω σου Βενιαμιν ἐν τοι̃ς λαοι̃ς σου ἐν ἐμοὶ Μαχιρ κατέβησαν ἐξερευνω̃ντες καὶ ἀπὸ Ζαβουλων ἕλκοντες ἐν ῥάβδω̨ διηγήσεως γραμματέως (Ⅲ)
- Ex Ephraim delevit eos in Amalec,/ et post eum ex Benjamin in populos tuos, o Amalec :/ de Machir principes descenderunt,/ et de Zabulon qui exercitum ducerent ad bellandum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃5   מני אפרים שרשם בעמלק אחריך בנימין בעממיך מני מכיר ירדו מחקקים ומזבולן משכים בשבט ספר ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 15  
And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.
- Les princes d'Issacar furent avec Débora, Et Issacar suivit Barak, Il fut envoyé sur ses pas dans la vallée. Près des ruisseaux de Ruben, Grandes furent les résolutions du coeur! (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀρχηγοὶ ἐν Ισσαχαρ μετὰ Δεββωρας καὶ Βαρακ οὕτως Βαρακ ἐν κοιλάσιν ἀπέστειλεν ἐν ποσὶν αὐτου̃ εἰς τὰς μερίδας Ρουβην μεγάλοι ἐξικνούμενοι καρδίαν (Ⅲ)
- Duces Issachar fuere cum Debbora,/ et Barac vestigia sunt secuti,/ qui quasi in præceps ac barathrum se discrimini dedit :/ diviso contra se Ruben,/ magnanimorum reperta est contentio./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃5   ושרי ביששכר עם דברה ויששכר כן ברק בעמק שלח ברגליו בפלגות ראובן גדלים חקקי לב ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 16  
Why abodest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks? For the divisions of Reuben there were great searchings of heart.
- Pourquoi es-tu resté au milieu des étables A écouter le bêlement des troupeaux? Aux ruisseaux de Ruben, Grandes furent les délibérations du coeur! (Ⅱ)
- εἰς τί ἐκάθισαν ἀνὰ μέσον τη̃ς διγομίας του̃ ἀκου̃σαι συρισμου̃ ἀγγέλων εἰς διαιρέσεις Ρουβην μεγάλοι ἐξετασμοὶ καρδίας (Ⅲ)
- Quare habitas inter duos terminos,/ ut audias sibilos gregum ?/ diviso contra se Ruben,/ magnanimorum reperta est contentio./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃5   למה ישבת בין המשפתים לשמע שרקות עדרים לפלגות ראובן גדולים חקרי לב ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 17  
Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.
- Galaad au delà du Jourdain n'a pas quitté sa demeure. Pourquoi Dan s'est-il tenu sur les navires? Aser s'est assis sur le rivage de la mer, Et s'est reposé dans ses ports. (Ⅱ)
- Γαλααδ ἐν τω̨̃ πέραν του̃ Ιορδάνου ἐσκήνωσεν καὶ Δαν εἰς τί παροικει̃ πλοίοις Ασηρ ἐκάθισεν παραλίαν θαλασσω̃ν καὶ ἐπὶ διεξόδοις αὐτου̃ σκηνώσει (Ⅲ)
- Galaad trans Jordanem quiescebat,/ et Dan vacabat navibus :/ Aser habitabat in littore maris,/ et in portubus morabatur./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃5   גלעד בעבר הירדן שכן ודן למה יגור אניות אשר ישב לחוף ימים ועל מפרציו ישכון ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 18  
Zebulun and Naphtali were a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field.
- Zabulon est un peuple qui affronta la mort, Et Nephthali de même, Sur les hauteurs des champs. (Ⅱ)
- Ζαβουλων λαὸς ὠνείδισεν ψυχὴν αὐτου̃ εἰς θάνατον καὶ Νεφθαλι ἐπὶ ὕψη ἀγρου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Zabulon vero et Nephthali obtulerunt animas suas morti/ in regione Merome.]\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃5   זבלון עם חרף נפשו למות ונפתלי על מרומי שדה ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 19  
The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
- Les rois vinrent, ils combattirent, Alors combattirent les rois de Canaan, A Thaanac, aux eaux de Meguiddo; Ils ne remportèrent nul butin, nul argent. (Ⅱ)
- ἠ̃λθον αὐτω̃ν βασιλει̃ς παρετάξαντο τότε ἐπολέμησαν βασιλει̃ς Χανααν ἐν Θανααχ ἐπὶ ὕδατι Μεγεδδω δω̃ρον ἀργυρίου οὐκ ἔλαβον (Ⅲ)
- Venerunt reges et pugnaverunt :/ pugnaverunt reges Chanaan/ in Thanach juxta aquas Mageddo,/ et tamen nihil tulere prædantes./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 19 ׃5   באו מלכים נלחמו אז נלחמו מלכי כנען בתענך על מי מגדו בצע כסף לא לקחו ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 20  
They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
- Des cieux on combattit, De leurs sentiers les étoiles combattirent contre Sisera. (Ⅱ)
- ἐξ οὐρανου̃ παρετάξαντο οἱ ἀστέρες ἐκ τρίβων αὐτω̃ν παρετάξαντο μετὰ Σισαρα (Ⅲ)
- De cælo dimicatum est contra eos :/ stellæ manentes in ordine et cursu suo,/ adversus Sisaram pugnaverunt./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 20 ׃5   מן שמים נלחמו הכוכבים ממסלותם נלחמו עם סיסרא ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 21  
The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength.
- Le torrent de Kison les a entraînés, Le torrent des anciens temps, le torrent de Kison. Mon âme, foule aux pieds les héros! (Ⅱ)
- χειμάρρους Κισων ἐξέσυρεν αὐτούς χειμάρρους ἀρχαίων χειμάρρους Κισων καταπατήσει αὐτὸν ψυχή μου δυνατή (Ⅲ)
- Torrens Cison traxit cadavera eorum,/ torrens Cadumim, torrens Cison :/ conculca, anima mea, robustos./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 21 ׃5   נחל קישון גרפם נחל קדומים נחל קישון תדרכי נפשי עז ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 22  
Then were the horsehoofs broken by the means of the pransings, the pransings of their mighty ones.
- Alors les talons des chevaux retentirent, A la fuite, à la fuite précipitée de leurs guerriers. (Ⅱ)
- τότε ἐνεποδίσθησαν πτέρναι ἵππου σπουδη̨̃ ἔσπευσαν ἰσχυροὶ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Ungulæ equorum ceciderunt, fugientibus impetu,/ et per præceps ruentibus fortissimis hostium./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 22 ׃5   אז הלמו עקבי סוס מדהרות דהרות אביריו ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 23  
Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
- Maudissez Méroz, dit l'ange de l'Éternel, Maudissez, maudissez ses habitants, Car ils ne vinrent pas au secours de l'Éternel, Au secours de l'Éternel, parmi les hommes vaillants. (Ⅱ)
- καταρα̃σθε Μηρωζ εἰ̃πεν ἄγγελος κυρίου καταρα̃σθε ἐπικατάρατος πα̃ς ὁ κατοικω̃ν αὐτήν ὅτι οὐκ ἤλθοσαν εἰς βοήθειαν κυρίου εἰς βοήθειαν ἐν δυνατοι̃ς (Ⅲ)
- Maledicite terræ Meroz, dixit angelus Domini :/ maledicite habitatoribus ejus,/ quia non venerunt ad auxilium Domini,/ in adjutorium fortissimorum ejus.]\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 23 ׃5   אורו מרוז אמר מלאך יהוה ארו ארור ישביה כי לא באו לעזרת יהוה לעזרת יהוה בגבורים ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 24  
Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
- Bénie soit entre les femmes Jaël, Femme de Héber, le Kénien! Bénie soit-elle entre les femmes qui habitent sous les tentes! (Ⅱ)
- εὐλογηθείη ἐν γυναιξὶν Ιαηλ γυνὴ Χαβερ του̃ Κιναίου ἀπὸ γυναικω̃ν ἐν σκηναι̃ς εὐλογηθείη (Ⅲ)
- Benedicta inter mulieres Jahel uxor Haber Cinæi,/ et benedicatur in tabernaculo suo./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 24 ׃5   תברך מנשים יעל אשת חבר הקיני מנשים באהל תברך ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 25  
He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.
- Il demanda de l'eau, elle a donné du lait, Dans la coupe d'honneur elle a présenté de la crème. (Ⅱ)
- ὕδωρ ἤ̨τησεν γάλα ἔδωκεν ἐν λεκάνη̨ ὑπερεχόντων προσήνεγκεν βούτυρον (Ⅲ)
- Aquam petenti lac dedit,/ et in phiala principum obtulit butyrum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 25 ׃5   מים שאל חלב נתנה בספל אדירים הקריבה חמאה ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 26  
She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.
- D'une main elle a saisi le pieu, Et de sa droite le marteau des travailleurs; Elle a frappé Sisera, lui a fendu la tête, Fracassé et transpercé la tempe. (Ⅱ)
- χει̃ρα αὐτη̃ς ἀριστερὰν εἰς πάσσαλον ἐξέτεινεν καὶ δεξιὰν αὐτη̃ς εἰς σφυ̃ραν κοπιώντων καὶ ἐσφυροκόπησεν Σισαρα διήλωσεν κεφαλὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπάταξεν διήλωσεν κρόταφον αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Sinistram manum misit ad clavum,/ et dexteram ad fabrorum malleos./ Percussitque Sisaram quærens in capite vulneri locum,/ et tempus valide perforans :/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 26 ׃5   ידה ליתד תשלחנה וימינה להלמות עמלים והלמה סיסרא מחקה ראשו ומחצה וחלפה רקתו ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 27  
At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
- Aux pieds de Jaël il s'est affaissé, il est tombé, il s'est couché; A ses pieds il s'est affaissé, il est tombé; Là où il s'est affaissé, là il est tombé sans vie. (Ⅱ)
- ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν ποδω̃ν αὐτη̃ς κατεκυλίσθη ἔπεσεν καὶ ἐκοιμήθη ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν ποδω̃ν αὐτη̃ς κατακλιθεὶς ἔπεσεν καθὼς κατεκλίθη ἐκει̃ ἔπεσεν ἐξοδευθείς (Ⅲ)
- inter pedes ejus ruit ; defecit, et mortuus est :/ volvebatur ante pedes ejus,/ et jacebat exanimis et miserabilis./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 27 ׃5   בין רגליה כרע נפל שכב בין רגליה כרע נפל באשר כרע שם נפל שדוד ‬ (Ⅴ)

The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
- Par la fenêtre, à travers le treillis, La mère de Sisera regarde, et s'écrie: Pourquoi son char tarde-t-il à venir? Pourquoi ses chars vont-ils si lentement? (Ⅱ)
- διὰ τη̃ς θυρίδος παρέκυψεν μήτηρ Σισαρα ἐκτὸς του̃ τοξικου̃ διότι ἠ̨σχύνθη ἅρμα αὐτου̃ διότι ἐχρόνισαν πόδες ἁρμάτων αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Per fenestram respiciens, ululabat mater ejus :/ et de cœnaculo loquebatur :/ Cur moratur regredi currus ejus ?/ quare tardaverunt pedes quadrigarum illius ?/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 28 ׃5   בעד החלון נשקפה ותיבב אם סיסרא בעד האשנב מדוע בשש רכבו לבוא מדוע אחרו פעמי מרכבותיו ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 29  
Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
- Les plus sages d'entre ses femmes lui répondent, Et elle se répond à elle-même: (Ⅱ)
- αἱ σοφαὶ ἄρχουσαι αὐτη̃ς ἀπεκρίθησαν πρὸς αὐτήν καὶ αὐτὴ ἀπέστρεψεν λόγους αὐτη̃ς ἑαυτη̨̃ (Ⅲ)
- Una sapientior ceteris uxoribus ejus,/ hæc socrui verba respondit :/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 29 ׃5   חכמות שרותיה תענינה אף היא תשיב אמריה לה ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 30  
Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colors, a prey of divers colors of needlework, of divers colors of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
- Ne trouvent-ils pas du butin? ne le partagent-ils pas? Une jeune fille, deux jeunes filles par homme, Du butin en vêtements de couleur pour Sisera, Du butin en vêtements de couleur, brodés, Un vêtement de couleur, deux vêtements brodés, Pour le cou du vainqueur. (Ⅱ)
- οὐχ εὑρήσουσιν αὐτὸν διαμερίζοντα σκυ̃λα οἰκτίρμων οἰκτιρήσει εἰς κεφαλὴν ἀνδρός σκυ̃λα βαμμάτων τω̨̃ Σισαρα σκυ̃λα βαμμάτων ποικιλίας βάμματα ποικιλτω̃ν αὐτά τω̨̃ τραχήλω̨ αὐτου̃ σκυ̃λα (Ⅲ)
- Forsitan nunc dividit spolia,/ et pulcherrima feminarum eligitur ei :/ vestes diversorum colorum Sisaræ traduntur in prædam,/ et supellex varia ad ornanda colla congeritur./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 30 ׃5   הלא ימצאו יחלקו שלל רחם רחמתים לראש גבר שלל צבעים לסיסרא שלל צבעים רקמה צבע רקמתים לצוארי שלל ‬ (Ⅴ)
5. 31  
So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
- Périssent ainsi tous tes ennemis, ô Éternel! Ceux qui l'aiment sont comme le soleil, Quand il paraît dans sa force. Le pays fut en repos pendant quarante ans. (Ⅱ)
- οὕτως ἀπόλοιντο πάντες οἱ ἐχθροί σου κύριε καὶ οἱ ἀγαπω̃ντες αὐτὸν ὡς ἔξοδος ἡλίου ἐν δυνάμει αὐτου̃ καὶ ἡσύχασεν ἡ γη̃ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη (Ⅲ)
- Sic pereant omnes inimici tui, Domine :/ qui autem diligunt te, sicut sol in ortu suo splendet, ita rutilent. (5:32 ) Quievitque terra per quadraginta annos. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 31 ׃5   כן יאבדו כל אויביך יהוה ואהביו כצאת השמש בגברתו ותשקט הארץ ארבעים שנה פ‬ (Ⅴ)
