In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
- La dixième année, le douzième jour du dixième mois, la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - ἐν τω̨̃ ἔτει τω̨̃ δεκάτω̨ ἐν τω̨̃ δεκάτω̨ μηνὶ μια̨̃ του̃ μηνὸς ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - In anno decimo, decimo mense, undecima die mensis, factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃29 בשנה העשירית בעשרי בשנים עשר לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:
- Fils de l'homme, tourne ta face vers Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, Et prophétise contre lui et contre toute l'Égypte! (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ' αὐτὸν καὶ ἐπ' Αἴγυπτον ὅλην (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, pone faciem tuam contra Pharaonem regem Ægypti, et prophetabis de eo, et de Ægypto universa. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃29 בן אדם שים פניך על פרעה מלך מצרים והנבא עליו ועל מצרים כלה (Ⅴ)

Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
- Parle, et tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, j'en veux à toi, Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, Grand crocodile, qui te couches au milieu de tes fleuves, Et qui dis: Mon fleuve est à moi, c'est moi qui l'ai fait! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ Φαραω τὸν δράκοντα τὸν μέγαν τὸν ἐγκαθήμενον ἐν μέσω̨ ποταμω̃ν αὐτου̃ τὸν λέγοντα ἐμοί εἰσιν οἱ ποταμοί καὶ ἐγὼ ἐποίησα αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Loquere, et dices : [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Ecce ego ad te, Pharao rex Ægypti, draco magne,/ qui cubas in medio fluminum tuorum, et dicis :/ Meus est fluvius, et ego feci memetipsum./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃29 דבר ואמרת כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני עליך פרעה מלך מצרים התנים הגדול הרבץ בתוך יאריו אשר אמר לי יארי ואני עשיתני (Ⅴ)

But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.
- Je mettrai une boucle à tes mâchoires, J'attacherai à tes écailles les poissons de tes fleuves, Et je te tirerai du milieu de tes fleuves, Avec tous les poissons qui s'y trouvent Et qui seront attachés à tes écailles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγὼ δώσω παγίδας εἰς τὰς σιαγόνας σου καὶ προσκολλήσω τοὺς ἰχθυ̃ς του̃ ποταμου̃ σου πρὸς τὰς πτέρυγάς σου καὶ ἀνάξω σε ἐκ μέσου του̃ ποταμου̃ σου καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἰχθύας του̃ ποταμου̃ σου (Ⅲ) - Et ponam frenum in maxillis tuis,/ et agglutinabo pisces fluminum tuorum squamis tuis,/ et extraham te de medio fluminum tuorum,/ et universi pisces tui squamis tuis adhærebunt./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃29 ונתתי *חחיים **חחים בלחייך והדבקתי דגת יאריך בקשקשתיך והעליתיך מתוך יאריך ואת כל דגת יאריך בקשקשתיך תדבק (Ⅴ)

And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.
- Je te jetterai dans le désert, Toi et tous les poissons de tes fleuves. Tu tomberas sur la face des champs, Tu ne seras ni relevé ni ramassé; Aux bêtes de la terre et aux oiseaux du ciel Je te donnerai pour pâture. (Ⅱ) - καὶ καταβαλω̃ σε ἐν τάχει καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἰχθύας του̃ ποταμου̃ σου ἐπὶ πρόσωπον του̃ πεδίου πεση̨̃ καὶ οὐ μὴ συναχθη̨̃ς καὶ οὐ μὴ περισταλη̨̃ς τοι̃ς θηρίοις τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ τοι̃ς πετεινοι̃ς του̃ οὐρανου̃ δέδωκά σε εἰς κατάβρωμα (Ⅲ) - Et projiciam te in desertum,/ et omnes pisces fluminis tui :/ super faciem terræ cades ;/ non colligeris, neque congregaberis :/ bestiis terræ et volatilibus cæli dedi te ad devorandum./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃29 ונטשתיך המדברה אותך ואת כל דגת יאריך על פני השדה תפול לא תאסף ולא תקבץ לחית הארץ ולעוף השמים נתתיך לאכלה (Ⅴ)

And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
- Et tous les habitants de l'Égypte sauront que je suis l'Éternel, Parce qu'ils ont été un soutien de roseau pour la maison d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ κατοικου̃ντες Αἴγυπτον ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν ἐγενήθης ῥάβδος καλαμίνη τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Et scient omnes habitatores Ægypti quia ego Dominus,/ pro eo quod fuisti baculus arundineus domui Israël :/ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃29 וידעו כל ישבי מצרים כי אני יהוה יען היותם משענת קנה לבית ישראל (Ⅴ)

When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.
- Lorsqu'ils t'ont pris dans la main, tu t'es rompu, Et tu leur as déchiré toute l'épaule; Lorsqu'ils se sont appuyés sur toi, tu t'es brisé, Et tu as rendu leurs reins immobiles. (Ⅱ) - ὅτε ἐπελάβοντό σου τη̨̃ χειρὶ αὐτω̃ν ἐθλάσθης καὶ ὅτε ἐπεκράτησεν ἐπ' αὐτοὺς πα̃σα χεὶρ καὶ ὅτε ἐπανεπαύσαντο ἐπὶ σέ συνετρίβης καὶ συνέκλασας αὐτω̃ν πα̃σαν ὀσφύν (Ⅲ) - quando apprehenderunt te manu, et confractus es,/ et lacerasti omnem humerum eorum :/ et innitentibus eis super te comminutus es,/ et dissolvisti omnes renes eorum./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃29 בתפשם בך *בכפך **בכף תרוץ ובקעת להם כל כתף ובהשענם עליך תשבר והעמדת להם כל מתנים ס (Ⅴ)

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.
- C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, je ferai venir contre toi l'épée, Et j'exterminerai du milieu de toi les hommes et les bêtes. (Ⅱ) - διὰ του̃το τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ σὲ ῥομφαίαν καὶ ἀπολω̃ ἀνθρώπους ἀπὸ σου̃ καὶ κτήνη (Ⅲ) - Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Ecce ego adducam super te gladium,/ et interficiam de te hominem et jumentum./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃29 לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני מביא עליך חרב והכרתי ממך אדם ובהמה (Ⅴ)

And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it.
- Le pays d'Égypte deviendra une solitude et un désert. Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, Parce qu'il a dit: Le fleuve est à moi, c'est moi qui l'ai fait! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἡ γη̃ Αἰγύπτου ἀπώλεια καὶ ἔρημος καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἀντὶ του̃ λέγειν σε οἱ ποταμοὶ ἐμοί εἰσιν καὶ ἐγὼ ἐποίησα αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Et erit terra Ægypti in desertum et in solitudinem :/ et scient quia ego Dominus,/ pro eo quod dixeris : Fluvius meus est, et ego feci eum./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃29 והיתה ארץ מצרים לשממה וחרבה וידעו כי אני יהוה יען אמר יאר לי ואני עשיתי (Ⅴ)

Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
- C'est pourquoi voici, j'en veux à toi et à tes fleuves, Et je ferai du pays d'Égypte un désert et une solitude, Depuis Migdol jusqu'à Syène et aux frontières de l'Éthiopie. (Ⅱ) - διὰ του̃το ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς ποταμούς σου καὶ δώσω γη̃ν Αἰγύπτου εἰς ἔρημον καὶ ῥομφαίαν καὶ ἀπώλειαν ἀπὸ Μαγδώλου καὶ Συήνης καὶ ἕως ὁρίων Αἰθιόπων (Ⅲ) - Idcirco ecce ego ad te, et ad flumina tua :/ daboque terram Ægypti in solitudines,/ gladio dissipatam,/ a turre Syenes usque ad terminos Æthiopiæ./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃29 לכן הנני אליך ואל יאריך ונתתי את ארץ מצרים לחרבות חרב שממה ממגדל סונה ועד גבול כוש (Ⅴ)

No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
- Nul pied d'homme n'y passera, Nul pied d'animal n'y passera, Et il restera quarante ans sans être habité. (Ⅱ) - οὐ μὴ διέλθη̨ ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ποὺς ἀνθρώπου καὶ ποὺς κτήνους οὐ μὴ διέλθη̨ αὐτήν καὶ οὐ κατοικηθήσεται τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη (Ⅲ) - Non pertransibit eam pes hominis,/ neque pes jumenti gradietur in ea,/ et non habitabitur quadraginta annis./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃29 לא תעבר בה רגל אדם ורגל בהמה לא תעבר בה ולא תשב ארבעים שנה (Ⅴ)

And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
- Je ferai du pays d'Égypte une solitude entre les pays dévastés, Et ses villes seront désertes entre les villes désertes, Pendant quarante ans. Je répandrai les Égyptiens parmi les nations, Je les disperserai en divers pays. (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσω τὴν γη̃ν αὐτη̃ς ἀπώλειαν ἐν μέσω̨ γη̃ς ἠρημωμένης καὶ αἱ πόλεις αὐτη̃ς ἐν μέσω̨ πόλεων ἠρημωμένων ἔσονται τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη καὶ διασπερω̃ Αἴγυπτον ἐν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν καὶ λικμήσω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χώρας (Ⅲ) - Daboque terram Ægypti desertam in medio terrarum desertarum,/ et civitates ejus in medio urbium subversarum,/ et erunt desolatæ quadraginta annis :/ et dispergam Ægyptios in nationes,/ et ventilabo eos in terras./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃29 ונתתי את ארץ מצרים שממה בתוך ארצות נשמות ועריה בתוך ערים מחרבות תהיין שממה ארבעים שנה והפצתי את מצרים בגוים וזריתים בארצות פ (Ⅴ)

Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
- Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Au bout de quarante ans je rassemblerai les Égyptiens Du milieu des peuples où ils auront été dispersés. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος μετὰ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη συνάξω τοὺς Αἰγυπτίους ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν οὑ̃ διεσκορπίσθησαν ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ) - Quia hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Post finem quadraginta annorum congregabo Ægyptum/ de populis in quibus dispersi fuerant./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃29 כי כה אמר אדני יהוה מקץ ארבעים שנה אקבץ את מצרים מן העמים אשר נפצו שמה (Ⅴ)

And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
- Je ramènerai les captifs de l'Égypte, Je les ramènerai dans le pays de Pathros, Dans le pays de leur origine, Et là ils formeront un faible royaume. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν τω̃ν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ κατοικίσω αὐτοὺς ἐν γη̨̃ Παθουρης ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ ὅθεν ἐλήμφθησαν καὶ ἔσται ἀρχὴ ταπεινὴ (Ⅲ) - Et reducam captivitatem Ægypti,/ et collocabo eos in terra Phathures,/ in terra nativitatis suæ,/ et erunt ibi in regnum humile./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃29 ושבתי את שבות מצרים והשבתי אתם ארץ פתרוס על ארץ מכורתם והיו שם ממלכה שפלה (Ⅴ)

It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
- Ce sera le moindre des royaumes, Et il ne s'élèvera plus au-dessus des nations, Je les diminuerai, afin qu'ils ne dominent pas sur les nations. (Ⅱ) - παρὰ πάσας τὰς ἀρχάς οὐ μὴ ὑψωθη̨̃ ἔτι ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη καὶ ὀλιγοστοὺς αὐτοὺς ποιήσω του̃ μὴ εἰ̃ναι αὐτοὺς πλείονας ἐν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν (Ⅲ) - Inter cetera regna erit humillima,/ et non elevabitur ultra super nationes,/ et imminuam eos ne imperent gentibus./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃29 מן הממלכות תהיה שפלה ולא תתנשא עוד על הגוים והמעטתים לבלתי רדות בגוים (Ⅴ)

And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
- Ce royaume ne sera plus pour la maison d'Israël un sujet de confiance; Il lui rappellera son iniquité, quand elle se tournait vers eux. Et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Ισραηλ εἰς ἐλπίδα ἀναμιμνή̨σκουσαν ἀνομίαν ἐν τω̨̃ αὐτοὺς ἀκολουθη̃σαι ὀπίσω αὐτω̃ν καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (Ⅲ) - Neque erunt ultra domui Israël in confidentia,/ docentes iniquitatem ut fugiant, et sequantur eos :/ et scient quia ego Dominus Deus.]\ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃29 ולא יהיה עוד לבית ישראל למבטח מזכיר עון בפנותם אחריהם וידעו כי אני אדני יהוה פ (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
- La vingt-septième année, le premier jour du premier mois, la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τω̨̃ ἑβδόμω̨ καὶ εἰκοστω̨̃ ἔτει μια̨̃ του̃ μηνὸς του̃ πρώτου ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - Et factum est in vigesimo et septimo anno, in primo, in una mensis : factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃29 ויהי בעשרים ושבע שנה בראשון באחד לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
- Fils de l'homme, Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, A fait faire à son armée un service pénible contre Tyr; Toutes les têtes sont chauves, toutes les épaules sont écorchées; Et il n'a retiré de Tyr aucun salaire, ni lui, ni son armée, Pour le service qu'il a fait contre elle. (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος κατεδουλώσατο αὐτου̃ τὴν δύναμιν δουλεία̨ μεγάλη̨ ἐπὶ Τύρου πα̃σα κεφαλὴ φαλακρὰ καὶ πα̃ς ὠ̃μος μαδω̃ν καὶ μισθὸς οὐκ ἐγενήθη αὐτω̨̃ καὶ τη̨̃ δυνάμει αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ Τύρου καὶ τη̃ς δουλείας ἡ̃ς ἐδούλευσαν ἐπ' αὐτήν (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis/ servire fecit exercitum suum servitute magna adversum Tyrum :/ omne caput decalvatum, et omnis humerus depilatus est :/ et merces non est reddita ei, neque exercitui ejus, de Tyro,/ pro servitute qua servivit mihi adversus eam./ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃29 בן אדם נבוכדראצר מלך בבל העביד את חילו עבדה גדלה אל צר כל ראש מקרח וכל כתף מרוטה ושכר לא היה לו ולחילו מצר על העבדה אשר עבד עליה ס (Ⅴ)

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
- C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, je donne à Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, Le pays d'Égypte; Il en emportera les richesses, Il en prendra les dépouilles, Il en pillera le butin; Ce sera un salaire pour son armée. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ δίδωμι τω̨̃ Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλει̃ Βαβυλω̃νος γη̃ν Αἰγύπτου καὶ προνομεύσει τὴν προνομὴν αὐτη̃ς καὶ σκυλεύσει τὰ σκυ̃λα αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἔσται μισθὸς τη̨̃ δυνάμει αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Ecce ego dabo Nabuchodonosor regem Babylonis in terra Ægypti :/ et accipiet multitudinem ejus,/ et deprædabitur manubias ejus,/ et diripiet spolia ejus :/ et erit merces exercitui illius,/ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃29 לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני נתן לנבוכדראצר מלך בבל את ארץ מצרים ונשא המנה ושלל שללה ובזז בזה והיתה שכר לחילו (Ⅴ)

I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.
- Pour prix du service qu'il a fait contre Tyr, Je lui donne le pays d'Égypte; Car ils ont travaillé pour moi, Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - ἀντὶ τη̃ς λειτουργίας αὐτου̃ ἡ̃ς ἐδούλευσεν ἐπὶ Τύρον δέδωκα αὐτω̨̃ γη̃ν Αἰγύπτου τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος (Ⅲ) - et operi quo servivit adversus eam :/ dedi ei terram Ægypti pro eo quod laboraverit mihi,/ ait Dominus Deus./ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃29 פעלתו אשר עבד בה נתתי לו את ארץ מצרים אשר עשו לי נאם אדני יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
- En ce jour-là, je donnerai de la force à la maison d'Israël, Et je t'ouvrirai la bouche au milieu d'eux; Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ἀνατελει̃ κέρας παντὶ τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Ισραηλ καὶ σοὶ δώσω στόμα ἀνεω̨γμένον ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτω̃ν καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (Ⅲ) - In die illo pullulabit cornu domui Israël,/ et tibi dabo apertum os in medio eorum,/ et scient quia ego Dominus.] (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃29 ביום ההוא אצמיח קרן לבית ישראל ולך אתן פתחון פה בתוכם וידעו כי אני יהוה פ (Ⅴ)
