And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
- La douzième année, le premier jour du douzième mois, la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τω̨̃ ἑνδεκάτω̨ ἔτει ἐν τω̨̃ δωδεκάτω̨ μηνὶ μια̨̃ του̃ μηνὸς ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - Et factum est, duodecimo anno, in mense duodecimo, in una mensis : factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃32 ויהי בשתי עשרה שנה בשני עשר חדש באחד לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
- Fils de l'homme, Prononce une complainte sur Pharaon, roi d'Égypte! Tu lui diras: Tu ressemblais à un lionceau parmi les nations; Tu étais comme un crocodile dans les mers, Tu t'élançais dans tes fleuves, Tu troublais les eaux avec tes pieds, Tu agitais leurs flots. (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου λαβὲ θρη̃νον ἐπὶ Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐρει̃ς αὐτω̨̃ λέοντι ἐθνω̃ν ὡμοιώθης καὶ σὺ ὡς δράκων ὁ ἐν τη̨̃ θαλάσση̨ καὶ ἐκεράτιζες τοι̃ς ποταμοι̃ς σου καὶ ἐτάρασσες ὕδωρ τοι̃ς ποσίν σου καὶ κατεπάτεις τοὺς ποταμούς σου (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, assume lamentum super Pharaonem regem Ægypti, et dices ad eum : [Leoni gentium assimilatus es,/ et draconi qui est in mari :/ et ventilabas cornu in fluminibus tuis,/ et conturbabas aquas pedibus tuis,/ et conculcabas flumina earum./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃32 בן אדם שא קינה על פרעה מלך מצרים ואמרת אליו כפיר גוים נדמית ואתה כתנים בימים ותגח בנהרותיך ותדלח מים ברגליך ותרפס נהרותם (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.
- Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: J'étendrai sur toi mon rets, Dans une foule nombreuse de peuples, Et ils te tireront dans mon filet. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ περιβαλω̃ ἐπὶ σὲ δίκτυα λαω̃ν πολλω̃ν καὶ ἀνάξω σε ἐν τω̨̃ ἀγκίστρω̨ μου (Ⅲ) - Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Expandam super te rete meum in multitudine populorum multorum,/ et extraham te in sagena mea./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃32 כה אמר אדני יהוה ופרשתי עליך את רשתי בקהל עמים רבים והעלוך בחרמי (Ⅴ)

Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.
- Je te laisserai à terre, Je te jetterai sur la face des champs; Je ferai reposer sur toi tous les oiseaux du ciel, Et je rassasierai de toi les bêtes de toute la terre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκτενω̃ σε ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν πεδία πλησθήσεταί σου καὶ ἐπικαθιω̃ ἐπὶ σὲ πάντα τὰ πετεινὰ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ ἐμπλήσω ἐκ σου̃ πάντα τὰ θηρία πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et projiciam te in terram ;/ super faciem agri abjiciam te :/ et habitare faciam super te omnia volatilia cæli,/ et saturabo de te bestias universæ terræ./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃32 ונטשתיך בארץ על פני השדה אטילך והשכנתי עליך כל עוף השמים והשבעתי ממך חית כל הארץ (Ⅴ)

And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.
- Je mettrai ta chair sur les montagnes, Et je remplirai les vallées de tes débris; (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσω τὰς σάρκας σου ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη καὶ ἐμπλήσω ἀπὸ του̃ αἵματός σου (Ⅲ) - Et dabo carnes tuas super montes,/ et implebo colles tuos sanie tua./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃32 ונתתי את בשרך על ההרים ומלאתי הגאיות רמותך (Ⅴ)

I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
- J'arroserai de ton sang le pays où tu nages, Jusqu'aux montagnes, Et les ravins seront remplis de toi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ποτισθήσεται ἡ γη̃ ἀπὸ τω̃ν προχωρημάτων σου ἀπὸ του̃ πλήθους σου ἐπὶ τω̃ν ὀρέων φάραγγας ἐμπλήσω ἀπὸ σου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et irrigabo terram fœtore sanguinis tui super montes,/ et valles implebuntur ex te./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃32 והשקיתי ארץ צפתך מדמך אל ההרים ואפקים ימלאון ממך (Ⅴ)

And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
- Quand je t'éteindrai, je voilerai les cieux Et j'obscurcirai leurs étoiles, Je couvrirai le soleil de nuages, Et la lune ne donnera plus sa lumière. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατακαλύψω ἐν τω̨̃ σβεσθη̃ναί σε οὐρανὸν καὶ συσκοτάσω τὰ ἄστρα αὐτου̃ ἥλιον ἐν νεφέλη̨ καλύψω καὶ σελήνη οὐ μὴ φάνη̨ τὸ φω̃ς αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et operiam, cum extinctus fueris, cælum,/ et nigrescere faciam stellas ejus :/ solem nube tegam,/ et luna non dabit lumen suum./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃32 וכסיתי בכבותך שמים והקדרתי את ככביהם שמש בענן אכסנו וירח לא יאיר אורו (Ⅴ)

All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
- J'obscurcirai à cause de toi tous les luminaires des cieux, Et je répandrai les ténèbres sur ton pays, Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - πάντα τὰ φαίνοντα φω̃ς ἐν τω̨̃ οὐρανω̨̃ συσκοτάσουσιν ἐπὶ σέ καὶ δώσω σκότος ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν σου λέγει κύριος κύριος (Ⅲ) - Omnia luminaria cæli mœrere faciam super te,/ et dabo tenebras super terram tuam,/ dicit Dominus Deus,/ cum ceciderint vulnerati tui in medio terræ,/ ait Dominus Deus./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃32 כל מאורי אור בשמים אקדירם עליך ונתתי חשך על ארצך נאם אדני יהוה (Ⅴ)

I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
- J'affligerai le coeur de beaucoup de peuples, Quand j'annoncerai ta ruine parmi les nations A des pays que tu ne connaissais pas. (Ⅱ) - καὶ παροργιω̃ καρδίαν λαω̃ν πολλω̃ν ἡνίκα ἂν ἄγω αἰχμαλωσίαν σου εἰς τὰ ἔθνη εἰς γη̃ν ἣν οὐκ ἔγνως (Ⅲ) - Et irritabo cor populorum multorum,/ cum induxero contritionem tuam in gentibus super terras quas nescis./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃32 והכעסתי לב עמים רבים בהביאי שברך בגוים על ארצות אשר לא ידעתם (Ⅴ)

Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
- Je frapperai de stupeur beaucoup de peuples à cause de toi, Et leurs rois seront saisis d'épouvante à cause de toi, Quand j'agiterai mon épée devant leur face; Ils trembleront à tout instant chacun pour sa vie, Au jour de ta chute. (Ⅱ) - καὶ στυγνάσουσιν ἐπὶ σὲ ἔθνη πολλά καὶ οἱ βασιλει̃ς αὐτω̃ν ἐκστάσει ἐκστήσονται ἐν τω̨̃ πέτασθαι τὴν ῥομφαίαν μου ἐπὶ πρόσωπα αὐτω̃ν προσδεχόμενοι τὴν πτω̃σιν αὐτω̃ν ἀφ' ἡμέρας πτώσεώς σου (Ⅲ) - Et stupescere faciam super te populos multos,/ et reges eorum horrore nimio formidabunt super te,/ cum volare cœperit gladius meus super facies eorum :/ et obstupescent repente singuli pro anima sua in die ruinæ tuæ./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃32 והשמותי עליך עמים רבים ומלכיהם ישערו עליך שער בעופפי חרבי על פניהם וחרדו לרגעים איש לנפשו ביום מפלתך ס (Ⅴ)

For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
- Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: L'épée du roi de Babylone fondra sur toi. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος ῥομφαία βασιλέως Βαβυλω̃νος ἥξει σοι (Ⅲ) - Quia hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Gladius regis Babylonis veniet tibi./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃32 כי כה אמר אדני יהוה חרב מלך בבל תבואך (Ⅴ)

By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
- Je ferai tomber ta multitude par l'épée de vaillants hommes, Tous les plus violents d'entre les peuples; Ils anéantiront l'orgueil de l'Égypte, Et toute sa multitude sera détruite. (Ⅱ) - ἐν μαχαίραις γιγάντων καὶ καταβαλω̃ τὴν ἰσχύν σου λοιμοὶ ἀπὸ ἐθνω̃ν πάντες καὶ ἀπολου̃σι τὴν ὕβριν Αἰγύπτου καὶ συντριβήσεται πα̃σα ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - In gladiis fortium dejiciam multitudinem tuam :/ inexpugnabiles omnes gentes hæ,/ et vastabunt superbiam Ægypti,/ et dissipabitur multitudo ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃32 בחרבות גבורים אפיל המונך עריצי גוים כלם ושדדו את גאון מצרים ונשמד כל המונה (Ⅴ)

I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
- Je ferai périr tout son bétail près des grandes eaux; Le pied de l'homme ne les troublera plus, Le sabot des animaux ne les troublera plus. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπολω̃ πάντα τὰ κτήνη αὐτη̃ς ἀφ' ὕδατος πολλου̃ καὶ οὐ μὴ ταράξη̨ αὐτὸ ἔτι ποὺς ἀνθρώπου καὶ ἴχνος κτηνω̃ν οὐ μὴ καταπατήση̨ αὐτό (Ⅲ) - Et perdam omnia jumenta ejus,/ quæ erant super aquas plurimas :/ et non conturbabit eas pes hominis ultra,/ neque ungula jumentorum turbabit eas./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃32 והאבדתי את כל בהמתה מעל מים רבים ולא תדלחם רגל אדם עוד ופרסות בהמה לא תדלחם (Ⅴ)

Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
- Alors je calmerai ses eaux, Et je ferai couler ses fleuves comme l'huile, Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel (Ⅱ) - οὕτως τότε ἡσυχάσει τὰ ὕδατα αὐτω̃ν καὶ οἱ ποταμοὶ αὐτω̃ν ὡς ἔλαιον πορεύσονται λέγει κύριος (Ⅲ) - Tunc purissimas reddam aquas eorum,/ et flumina eorum quasi oleum adducam,/ ait Dominus Deus,/ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃32 אז אשקיע מימיהם ונהרותם כשמן אוליך נאם אדני יהוה (Ⅴ)

When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.
- Quand je ferai du pays d'Égypte une solitude, Et que le pays sera dépouillé de tout ce qu'il contient, Quand je frapperai tous ceux qui l'habitent, Ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - ὅταν δω̃ Αἴγυπτον εἰς ἀπώλειαν καὶ ἐρημωθη̨̃ ἡ γη̃ σὺν τη̨̃ πληρώσει αὐτη̃ς ὅταν διασπείρω πάντας τοὺς κατοικου̃ντας ἐν αὐτη̨̃ καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (Ⅲ) - cum dedero terram Ægypti desolatam :/ deseretur autem terra a plenitudine sua/ quando percussero omnes habitatores ejus :/ et scient quia ego Dominus./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃32 בתתי את ארץ מצרים שממה ונשמה ארץ ממלאה בהכותי את כל יושבי בה וידעו כי אני יהוה (Ⅴ)

This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
- C'est là une complainte, et on la dira; Les filles des nations diront cette complainte; Elles la prononceront sur l'Égypte et sur toute sa multitude, Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - θρη̃νός ἐστιν καὶ θρηνήσεις αὐτόν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν θρηνήσουσιν αὐτόν ἐπ' Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἐπὶ πα̃σαν τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτη̃ς θρηνήσουσιν αὐτήν λέγει κύριος κύριος (Ⅲ) - Planctus est, et plangent eum :/ filiæ gentium plangent eum :/ super Ægyptum et super multitudinem ejus plangent eum,/ ait Dominus Deus.]\ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃32 קינה היא וקוננוה בנות הגוים תקוננה אותה על מצרים ועל כל המונה תקוננה אותה נאם אדני יהוה פ (Ⅴ)

It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
- La douzième année, le quinzième jour du mois, la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν τω̨̃ δωδεκάτω̨ ἔτει του̃ πρώτου μηνὸς πεντεκαιδεκάτη̨ του̃ μηνὸς ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ) - Et factum est in duodecimo anno, in quintadecima mensis : factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃32 ויהי בשתי עשרה שנה בחמשה עשר לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר (Ⅴ)

Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.
- Fils de l'homme, Lamente-toi sur la multitude d'Égypte, et précipite-la, Elle et les filles des nations puissantes, Dans les profondeurs de la terre, Avec ceux qui descendent dans la fosse! (Ⅱ) - υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου θρήνησον ἐπὶ τὴν ἰσχὺν Αἰγύπτου καὶ καταβιβάσουσιν αὐτη̃ς τὰς θυγατέρας τὰ ἔθνη νεκρὰς εἰς τὸ βάθος τη̃ς γη̃ς πρὸς τοὺς καταβαίνοντας εἰς βόθρον (Ⅲ) - Fili hominis, cane lugubre super multitudinem Ægypti :/ et detrahe eam ipsam, et filias gentium robustarum, ad terram ultimam,/ cum his qui descendunt in lacum./ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃32 בן אדם נהה על המון מצרים והורדהו אותה ובנות גוים אדרם אל ארץ תחתיות את יורדי בור (Ⅴ)

Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.
- Qui surpasses-tu en beauté? Descends, et couche-toi avec les incirconcis! (Ⅱ) - Quo pulchrior es ?/ descende, et dormi cum incircumcisis./ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃32 ממי נעמת רדה והשכבה את ערלים (Ⅴ)

They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.
- Ils tomberont au milieu de ceux qui sont morts par l'épée. Le glaive est donné: Entraînez l'Égypte et toute sa multitude! (Ⅱ) - ἐν μέσω̨ τραυματιω̃ν μαχαίρας πεσου̃νται μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ κοιμηθήσεται πα̃σα ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - In medio interfectorum gladio cadent ;/ gladius datus est :/ attraxerunt eam et omnes populos ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃32 בתוך חללי חרב יפלו חרב נתנה משכו אותה וכל המוניה (Ⅴ)

The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
- Les puissants héros lui adresseront la parole Au sein du séjour des morts, Avec ceux qui étaient ses soutiens. Ils sont descendus, ils sont couchés, les incirconcis, Tués par l'épée. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρου̃σίν σοι οἱ γίγαντες ἐν βάθει βόθρου γίνου τίνος κρείττων εἰ̃ κατάβηθι καὶ κοιμήθητι μετὰ ἀπεριτμήτων ἐν μέσω̨ τραυματιω̃ν μαχαίρας (Ⅲ) - Loquentur ei potentissimi robustorum de medio inferni,/ qui cum auxiliatoribus ejus descenderunt,/ et dormierunt incircumcisi interfecti gladio./ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃32 ידברו לו אלי גבורים מתוך שאול את עזריו ירדו שכבו הערלים חללי חרב (Ⅴ)

Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:
- Là est l'Assyrien, avec toute sa multitude, Et ses sépulcres sont autour de lui; Tous sont morts, sont tombés par l'épée. (Ⅱ) - ἐκει̃ Ασσουρ καὶ πα̃σα ἡ συναγωγὴ αὐτου̃ πάντες τραυματίαι ἐκει̃ ἐδόθησαν καὶ ἡ ταφὴ αὐτω̃ν ἐν βάθει βόθρου καὶ ἐγενήθη ἡ συναγωγὴ αὐτου̃ περικύκλω̨ του̃ μνήματος αὐτου̃ πάντες οἱ τραυματίαι οἱ πεπτωκότες μαχαίρα̨ (Ⅲ) - Ibi Assur, et omnis multitudo ejus :/ in circuitu illius sepulchra ejus,/ omnes interfecti, et qui ceciderunt gladio./ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃32 שם אשור וכל קהלה סביבותיו קברתיו כלם חללים הנפלים בחרב (Ⅴ)

Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
- Ses sépulcres sont dans les profondeurs de la fosse, Et sa multitude est autour de son sépulcre; Tous sont morts, sont tombés par l'épée; Eux qui répandaient la terreur dans le pays des vivants. (Ⅱ) - οἱ δόντες τὸν φόβον αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ γη̃ς ζωη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Quorum data sunt sepulchra in novissimis laci,/ et facta est multitudo ejus per gyrum sepulchri ejus :/ universi interfecti, cadentesque gladio,/ qui dederant quondam formidinem in terra viventium./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃32 אשר נתנו קברתיה בירכתי בור ויהי קהלה סביבות קברתה כלם חללים נפלים בחרב אשר נתנו חתית בארץ חיים (Ⅴ)

There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
- Là est Élam, avec toute sa multitude, Autour est son sépulcre; Tous sont morts, sont tombés par l'épée; Ils sont descendus incirconcis dans les profondeurs de la terre, Eux qui répandaient la terreur dans le pays des vivants, Et ils ont porté leur ignominie vers ceux qui descendent dans la fosse. (Ⅱ) - ἐκει̃ αιλαμ καὶ πα̃σα ἡ δύναμις αὐτου̃ περικύκλω̨ του̃ μνήματος αὐτου̃ πάντες οἱ τραυματίαι οἱ πεπτωκότες μαχαίρα̨ καὶ οἱ καταβαίνοντες ἀπερίτμητοι εἰς γη̃ς βάθος οἱ δεδωκότες αὐτω̃ν φόβον ἐπὶ γη̃ς ζωη̃ς καὶ ἐλάβοσαν τὴν βάσανον αὐτω̃ν μετὰ τω̃ν καταβαινόντων εἰς βόθρον (Ⅲ) - Ibi Ælam, et omnis multitudo ejus per gyrum sepulchri sui :/ omnes hi interfecti, ruentesque gladio,/ qui descenderunt incircumcisi ad terram ultimam ;/ qui posuerunt terrorem suum in terra viventium,/ et portaverunt ignominiam suam cum his qui descendunt in lacum./ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃32 שם עילם וכל המונה סביבות קברתה כלם חללים הנפלים בחרב אשר ירדו ערלים אל ארץ תחתיות אשר נתנו חתיתם בארץ חיים וישאו כלמתם את יורדי בור (Ⅴ)

They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.

There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.
- Là sont Méschec, Tubal, et toute leur multitude, Et leurs sépulcres sont autour d'eux; Tous ces incirconcis sont morts par l'épée, Car ils répandaient la terreur dans le pays des vivants. (Ⅱ) - ἐκει̃ ἐδόθησαν Μοσοχ καὶ Θοβελ καὶ πα̃σα ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτω̃ν περικύκλω̨ του̃ μνήματος αὐτου̃ πάντες τραυματίαι αὐτου̃ πάντες ἀπερίτμητοι τραυματίαι ἀπὸ μαχαίρας οἱ δεδωκότες τὸν φόβον αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ γη̃ς ζωη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Ibi Mosoch et Thubal, et omnis multitudo ejus :/ in circuitu ejus sepulchra illius :/ omnes hi incircumcisi, interfectique et cadentes gladio,/ quia dederunt formidinem suam in terra viventium./ (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃32 שם משך תבל וכל המונה סביבותיו קברותיה כלם ערלים מחללי חרב כי נתנו חתיתם בארץ חיים (Ⅴ)

And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
- Ils ne sont pas couchés avec les héros, Ceux qui sont tombés d'entre les incirconcis; Ils sont descendus au séjour des morts avec leurs armes de guerre, Ils ont mis leurs épées sous leurs têtes, Et leurs iniquités ont été sur leurs ossements; Car ils étaient la terreur des héros dans le pays des vivants. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκοιμήθησαν μετὰ τω̃ν γιγάντων τω̃ν πεπτωκότων ἀπὸ αἰω̃νος οἳ κατέβησαν εἰς ἅ̨δου ἐν ὅπλοις πολεμικοι̃ς καὶ ἔθηκαν τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτω̃ν ὑπὸ τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐγενήθησαν αἱ ἀνομίαι αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ τω̃ν ὀστω̃ν αὐτω̃ν ὅτι ἐξεφόβησαν γίγαντας ἐν γη̨̃ ζωη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et non dormient cum fortibus,/ cadentibusque, et incircumcisis,/ qui descenderunt ad infernum cum armis suis,/ et posuerunt gladios suos sub capitibus suis,/ et fuerunt iniquitates eorum in ossibus eorum :/ quia terror fortium facti sunt in terra viventium./ (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃32 ולא ישכבו את גבורים נפלים מערלים אשר ירדו שאול בכלי מלחמתם ויתנו את חרבותם תחת ראשיהם ותהי עונתם על עצמותם כי חתית גבורים בארץ חיים (Ⅴ)

Yea, thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with them that are slain with the sword.

There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.
- Là sont Édom, ses rois et tous ses princes, Qui, malgré leur vaillance, ont été placés Avec ceux qui sont morts par l'épée; Ils sont couchés avec les incirconcis, Avec ceux qui descendent dans la fosse. (Ⅱ) - ἐκει̃ ἐδόθησαν οἱ ἄρχοντες Ασσουρ οἱ δόντες τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτου̃ εἰς τραυ̃μα μαχαίρας οὑ̃τοι μετὰ τραυματιω̃ν ἐκοιμήθησαν μετὰ καταβαινόντων εἰς βόθρον (Ⅲ) - Ibi Idumæa, et reges ejus, et omnes duces ejus,/ qui dati sunt cum exercitu suo cum interfectis gladio,/ et qui cum incircumcisis dormierunt,/ et cum his qui descendunt in lacum./ (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃32 שמה אדום מלכיה וכל נשיאיה אשר נתנו בגבורתם את חללי חרב המה את ערלים ישכבו ואת ירדי בור (Ⅴ)

There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.
- Là sont tous les princes du septentrion, et tous les Sidoniens, Qui sont descendus vers les morts, Confus, malgré la terreur qu'inspirait leur vaillance; Ces incirconcis sont couchés avec ceux qui sont morts par l'épée, Et ils ont porté leur ignominie vers ceux qui descendent dans la fosse. (Ⅱ) - ἐκει̃ οἱ ἄρχοντες του̃ βορρα̃ πάντες στρατηγοὶ Ασσουρ οἱ καταβαίνοντες τραυματίαι σὺν τω̨̃ φόβω̨ αὐτω̃ν καὶ τη̨̃ ἰσχύι αὐτω̃ν ἐκοιμήθησαν ἀπερίτμητοι μετὰ τραυματιω̃ν μαχαίρας καὶ ἀπήνεγκαν τὴν βάσανον αὐτω̃ν μετὰ τω̃ν καταβαινόντων εἰς βόθρον (Ⅲ) - Ibi principes aquilonis omnes, et universi venatores,/ qui deducti sunt cum interfectis, paventes,/ et in sua fortitudine confusi :/ qui dormierunt incircumcisi/ cum interfectis gladio,/ et portaverunt confusionem suam/ cum his qui descendunt in lacum./ (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃32 שמה נסיכי צפון כלם וכל צדני אשר ירדו את חללים בחתיתם[c] מגבורתם בושים וישכבו ערלים את חללי חרב וישאו כלמתם את יורדי בור (Ⅴ)

Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
- Pharaon les verra, Et il se consolera au sujet de toute sa multitude, Des siens qui sont morts par l'épée et de toute son armée, Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - ἐκείνους ὄψεται βασιλεὺς Φαραω καὶ παρακληθήσεται ἐπὶ πα̃σαν τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτω̃ν λέγει κύριος κύριος (Ⅲ) - Vidit eos Pharao, et consolatus est/ super universa multitudine sua,/ quæ interfecta est gladio :/ Pharao, et omnis exercitus ejus,/ ait Dominus Deus./ (Ⅳ) - 31 ׃32 אותם יראה פרעה ונחם על כל *המונה **המונו חללי חרב פרעה וכל חילו נאם אדני יהוה (Ⅴ)

For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
