Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
- Vous êtes les enfants de l'Éternel, votre Dieu. Vous ne vous ferez point d'incisions et vous ne ferez point de place chauve entre les yeux pour un mort. (Ⅱ) - υἱοί ἐστε κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ ὑμω̃ν οὐ φοιβήσετε οὐκ ἐπιθήσετε φαλάκρωμα ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν ὀφθαλμω̃ν ὑμω̃ν ἐπὶ νεκρω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Filii estote Domini Dei vestri : non vos incidetis, nec facietis calvitium super mortuo : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃14 בנים אתם ליהוה אלהיכם לא תתגדדו ולא תשימו קרחה בין עיניכם למת (Ⅴ)

For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
- Car tu es un peuple saint pour l'Éternel, ton Dieu; et l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a choisi, pour que tu fusses un peuple qui lui appartînt entre tous les peuples qui sont sur la face de la terre. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι λαὸς ἅγιος εἰ̃ κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σου καὶ σὲ ἐξελέξατο κύριος ὁ θεός σου γενέσθαι σε αὐτω̨̃ λαὸν περιούσιον ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν τω̃ν ἐπὶ προσώπου τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - quoniam populus sanctus es Domino Deo tuo, et te elegit ut sis ei in populum peculiarem de cunctis gentibus, quæ sunt super terram. Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
- Tu ne mangeras aucune chose abominable. (Ⅱ) - οὐ φάγεσθε πα̃ν βδέλυγμα (Ⅲ) - Ne comedatis quæ immunda sunt. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃14 לא תאכל כל תועבה (Ⅴ)

These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
- Voici les animaux que vous mangerez: le boeuf, la brebis et la chèvre; (Ⅱ) - ταυ̃τα τὰ κτήνη ἃ φάγεσθε μόσχον ἐκ βοω̃ν καὶ ἀμνὸν ἐκ προβάτων καὶ χίμαρον ἐξ αἰγω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Hoc est animal quod comedere debetis : bovem, et ovem, et capram, (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃14 זאת הבהמה אשר תאכלו שור שה כשבים ושה עזים (Ⅴ)

The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.
- le cerf, la gazelle et le daim; le bouquetin, le chevreuil, la chèvre sauvage et la girafe. (Ⅱ) - ἔλαφον καὶ δορκάδα καὶ βούβαλον καὶ τραγέλαφον καὶ πύγαργον ὄρυγα καὶ καμηλοπάρδαλιν (Ⅲ) - cervum et capream, bubalum, tragelaphum, pygargum, orygem, camelopardalum. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃14 איל וצבי ויחמור ואקו ודישן ותאו וזמר (Ⅴ)

And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.
- Vous mangerez de tout animal qui a la corne fendue, le pied fourchu, et qui rumine. (Ⅱ) - πα̃ν κτη̃νος διχηλου̃ν ὁπλὴν καὶ ὀνυχιστη̃ρας ὀνυχίζον δύο χηλω̃ν καὶ ἀνάγον μηρυκισμὸν ἐν τοι̃ς κτήνεσιν ταυ̃τα φάγεσθε (Ⅲ) - Omne animal, quod in duas partes findit ungulam, et ruminat, comedetis. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃14 וכל בהמה מפרסת פרסה ושסעת שסע שתי פרסות מעלת גרה בבהמה אתה תאכלו (Ⅴ)

Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.
- Mais vous ne mangerez pas de ceux qui ruminent seulement, ou qui ont la corne fendue et le pied fourchu seulement. Ainsi, vous ne mangerez pas le chameau, le lièvre et le daman, qui ruminent, mais qui n'ont pas la corne fendue: vous les regarderez comme impurs. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταυ̃τα οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἀναγόντων μηρυκισμὸν καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν διχηλούντων τὰς ὁπλὰς καὶ ὀνυχιζόντων ὀνυχιστη̃ρας τὸν κάμηλον καὶ δασύποδα καὶ χοιρογρύλλιον ὅτι ἀνάγουσιν μηρυκισμὸν καὶ ὁπλὴν οὐ διχηλου̃σιν ἀκάθαρτα ταυ̃τα ὑμι̃ν ἐστιν (Ⅲ) - De his autem, quæ ruminant, et ungulam non findunt, comedere non debetis, ut camelum, leporem, chœrogryllum : hæc, quia ruminant et non dividunt ungulam, immunda erunt vobis. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃14 אך את זה לא תאכלו ממעלי הגרה וממפריסי הפרסה השסועה את הגמל ואת הארנבת ואת השפן כי מעלה גרה המה ופרסה לא הפריסו טמאים הם לכם (Ⅴ)

And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass.
- Vous ne mangerez pas le porc, qui a la corne fendue, mais qui ne rumine pas: vous le regarderez comme impur. Vous ne mangerez pas de leur chair, et vous ne toucherez pas leurs corps morts. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὸν ὑ̃ν ὅτι διχηλει̃ ὁπλὴν του̃το καὶ ὀνυχίζει ὄνυχας ὁπλη̃ς καὶ του̃το μηρυκισμὸν οὐ μαρυκα̃ται ἀκάθαρτον του̃το ὑμι̃ν ἀπὸ τω̃ν κρεω̃ν αὐτω̃ν οὐ φάγεσθε καὶ τω̃ν θνησιμαίων αὐτω̃ν οὐχ ἅψεσθε (Ⅲ) - Sus quoque, quoniam dividat ungulam et non ruminat, immunda erit. These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
- Voici les animaux dont vous mangerez parmi tous ceux qui sont dans les eaux: vous mangerez de tous ceux qui ont des nageoires et des écailles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταυ̃τα φάγεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν ἐν τοι̃ς ὕδασιν πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες φάγεσθε (Ⅲ) - Hæc comedetis ex omnibus quæ morantur in aquis : quæ habent pinnulas et squamas, comedite : (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃14 את זה תאכלו מכל אשר במים כל אשר לו סנפיר וקשקשת תאכלו (Ⅴ)

And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.
- Mais vous ne mangerez d'aucun de ceux qui n'ont pas des nageoires et des écailles: vous les regarderez comme impurs. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πάντα ὅσα οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοι̃ς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες οὐ φάγεσθε ἀκάθαρτα ὑμι̃ν ἐστιν (Ⅲ) - quæ absque pinnulis et squamis sunt, ne comedatis, quia immunda sunt. Of all clean birds ye shall eat.

But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
- Mais voici ceux dont vous ne mangerez pas: l'aigle, l'orfraie et l'aigle de mer; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταυ̃τα οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν τὸν ἀετὸν καὶ τὸν γρύπα καὶ τὸν ἁλιαίετον (Ⅲ) - Immundas ne comedatis : aquilam scilicet, et gryphem, et haliæetum, (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃14 וזה אשר לא תאכלו מהם הנשר והפרס והעזניה (Ⅴ)

And every raven after his kind,

And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,
- l'autruche, le hibou, la mouette, l'épervier et ce qui est de son espèce; (Ⅱ) - καὶ στρουθὸν καὶ γλαυ̃κα καὶ λάρον (Ⅲ) - et struthionem, ac noctuam, et larum, atque accipitrem juxta genus suum : (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃14 ואת בת היענה ואת התחמס ואת השחף ואת הנץ למינהו (Ⅴ)

The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,

And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant,
- le pélican, le cormoran et le plongeon; (Ⅱ) - καὶ καταράκτην καὶ ἱέρακα καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἔποπα καὶ νυκτικόρακα (Ⅲ) - ac mergulum, porphyrionem, et nycticoracem, (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃14 והקאת ואת הרחמה ואת השלך (Ⅴ)

And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
- la cigogne, le héron et ce qui est de son espèce, la huppe et la chauve-souris. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πελεκα̃να καὶ χαραδριὸν καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτω̨̃ καὶ πορφυρίωνα καὶ νυκτερίδα (Ⅲ) - onocrotalum, et charadrium, singula in genere suo : upupam quoque et vespertilionem. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃14 והחסידה והאנפה למינה והדוכיפת והעטלף (Ⅴ)

And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.
- Vous regarderez comme impur tout reptile qui vole: on n'en mangera point. (Ⅱ) - πάντα τὰ ἑρπετὰ τω̃ν πετεινω̃ν ἀκάθαρτα ταυ̃τά ἐστιν ὑμι̃ν οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et omne quod reptat et pennulas habet, immundum erit, et non comedetur. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃14 וכל שרץ העוף טמא הוא לכם לא יאכלו (Ⅴ)

Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
- Vous ne mangerez d'aucune bête morte; tu la donneras à l'étranger qui sera dans tes portes, afin qu'il la mange, ou tu la vendras à un étranger; car tu es un peuple saint pour l'Éternel, ton Dieu. Tu ne feras point cuire un chevreau dans le lait de sa mère. (Ⅱ) - πα̃ν θνησιμαι̃ον οὐ φάγεσθε τω̨̃ παροίκω̨ τω̨̃ ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσίν σου δοθήσεται καὶ φάγεται ἢ ἀποδώση̨ τω̨̃ ἀλλοτρίω̨ ὅτι λαὸς ἅγιος εἰ̃ κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σου οὐχ ἑψήσεις ἄρνα ἐν γάλακτι μητρὸς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Quidquid autem morticinum est, ne vescamini ex eo. Peregrino, qui intra portas tuas est, da ut comedat, aut vende ei : quia tu populus sanctus Domini Dei tui es. Non coques hædum in lacte matris suæ.\ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃14 לא תאכלו כל נבלה לגר אשר בשעריך תתננה ואכלה או מכר לנכרי כי עם קדוש אתה ליהוה אלהיך לא תבשל גדי בחלב אמו פ (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
- Tu lèveras la dîme de tout ce que produira ta semence, de ce que rapportera ton champ chaque année. (Ⅱ) - δεκάτην ἀποδεκατώσεις παντὸς γενήματος του̃ σπέρματός σου τὸ γένημα του̃ ἀγρου̃ σου ἐνιαυτὸν κατ' ἐνιαυτόν (Ⅲ) - Decimam partem separabis de cunctis fructibus tuis qui nascuntur in terra per annos singulos, (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃14 עשר תעשר את כל תבואת זרעך היצא השדה שנה שנה (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
- Et tu mangeras devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu qu'il choisira pour y faire résider son nom, la dîme de ton blé, de ton moût et de ton huile, et les premiers-nés de ton gros et de ton menu bétail, afin que tu apprennes à craindre toujours l'Éternel, ton Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φάγη̨ αὐτὸ ἔναντι κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου ἐν τω̨̃ τόπω̨ ὡ̨̃ ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθη̃ναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ ἐκει̃ οἴσετε τὰ ἐπιδέκατα του̃ σίτου σου καὶ του̃ οἴνου σου καὶ του̃ ἐλαίου σου τὰ πρωτότοκα τω̃ν βοω̃ν σου καὶ τω̃ν προβάτων σου ἵνα μάθη̨ς φοβει̃σθαι κύριον τὸν θεόν σου πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας (Ⅲ) - et comedes in conspectu Domini Dei tui in loco quem elegerit, ut in eo nomen illius invocetur, decimam frumenti tui, et vini, et olei, et primogenita de armentis et ovibus tuis : ut discas timere Dominum Deum tuum omni tempore. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃14 ואכלת לפני יהוה אלהיך במקום אשר יבחר לשכן שמו שם מעשר דגנך תירשך ויצהרך ובכרת בקרך וצאנך למען תלמד ליראה את יהוה אלהיך כל הימים (Ⅴ)

And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
- Peut-être lorsque l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'aura béni, le chemin sera-t-il trop long pour que tu puisses transporter ta dîme, à cause de ton éloignement du lieu qu'aura choisi l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour y faire résider son nom. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ μακρὰν γένηται ἀπὸ σου̃ ἡ ὁδὸς καὶ μὴ δύνη̨ ἀναφέρειν αὐτά ὅτι μακρὰν ἀπὸ σου̃ ὁ τόπος ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθη̃ναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ ἐκει̃ ὅτι εὐλογήσει σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου (Ⅲ) - Cum autem longior fuerit via, et locus quem elegerit Dominus Deus tuus, tibique benedixerit, nec potueris ad eum hæc cuncta portare, (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃14 וכי ירבה ממך הדרך כי לא תוכל[U] שאתו כי ירחק ממך המקום אשר יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשום שמו שם כי יברכך יהוה אלהיך (Ⅴ)

Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
- Alors, tu échangeras ta dîme contre de l'argent, tu serreras cet argent dans ta main, et tu iras au lieu que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, aura choisi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀποδώση̨ αὐτὰ ἀργυρίου καὶ λήμψη̨ τὸ ἀργύριον ἐν ται̃ς χερσίν σου καὶ πορεύση̨ εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - vendes omnia, et in pretium rediges, portabisque manu tua, et proficisceris ad locum quem elegerit Dominus Deus tuus : (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃14 ונתתה בכסף וצרת הכסף בידך והלכת אל המקום אשר יבחר יהוה אלהיך בו (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
- Là, tu achèteras avec l'argent tout ce que tu désireras, des boeufs, des brebis, du vin et des liqueurs fortes, tout ce qui te fera plaisir, tu mangeras devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et tu te réjouiras, toi et ta famille. (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσεις τὸ ἀργύριον ἐπὶ παντός οὑ̃ ἐὰν ἐπιθυμη̨̃ ἡ ψυχή σου ἐπὶ βουσὶ ἢ ἐπὶ προβάτοις ἐπὶ οἴνω̨ ἢ ἐπὶ σικερα ἢ ἐπὶ παντός οὑ̃ ἐὰν ἐπιθυμη̨̃ ἡ ψυχή σου καὶ φάγη̨ ἐκει̃ ἐναντίον κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου καὶ εὐφρανθήση̨ σὺ καὶ ὁ οἰ̃κός σου (Ⅲ) - et emes ex eadem pecunia quidquid tibi placuerit, sive ex armentis, sive ex ovibus, vinum quoque et siceram, et omne quod desiderat anima tua : et comedes coram Domino Deo tuo, et epulaberis tu et domus tua : (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃14 ונתתה הכסף בכל אשר תאוה נפשך בבקר ובצאן וביין ובשכר ובכל אשר תשאלך נפשך ואכלת שם לפני יהוה אלהיך ושמחת אתה וביתך (Ⅴ)

And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.
- Tu ne délaisseras point le Lévite qui sera dans tes portes, car il n'a ni part ni héritage avec toi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὁ Λευίτης ὁ ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσίν σου ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτω̨̃ μερὶς οὐδὲ κλη̃ρος μετὰ σου̃ (Ⅲ) - et Levites qui intra portas tuas est, cave ne derelinquas eum, quia non habet aliam partem in possessione tua. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃14 והלוי אשר בשעריך לא תעזבנו כי אין לו חלק ונחלה עמך ס (Ⅴ)

At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
- Au bout de trois ans, tu sortiras toute la dîme de tes produits pendant la troisième année, et tu la déposeras dans tes portes. (Ⅱ) - μετὰ τρία ἔτη ἐξοίσεις πα̃ν τὸ ἐπιδέκατον τω̃ν γενημάτων σου ἐν τω̨̃ ἐνιαυτω̨̃ ἐκείνω̨ θήσεις αὐτὸ ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσίν σου (Ⅲ) - Anno tertio separabis aliam decimam ex omnibus quæ nascuntur tibi eo tempore, et repones intra januas tuas. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃14 מקצה שלש שנים תוציא את כל מעשר תבואתך בשנה ההוא והנחת בשעריך (Ⅴ)

And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
- Alors viendront le Lévite, qui n'a ni part ni héritage avec toi, l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve, qui seront dans tes portes, et ils mangeront et se rassasieront, afin que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te bénisse dans tous les travaux que tu entreprendras de tes mains.
