And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel.
- Moïse adressa encore ces paroles à tout Israël: (Ⅱ) - καὶ συνετέλεσεν Μωυση̃ς λαλω̃ν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Abiit itaque Moyses, et locutus est omnia verba hæc ad universum Israël, (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃31 וילך משה וידבר את הדברים האלה אל כל ישראל (Ⅴ)

And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
- Aujourd'hui, leur dit-il, je suis âgé de cent vingt ans, je ne pourrai plus sortir et entrer, et l'Éternel m'a dit: Tu ne passeras pas ce Jourdain. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἑκατὸν καὶ εἴκοσι ἐτω̃ν ἐγώ εἰμι σήμερον οὐ δυνήσομαι ἔτι εἰσπορεύεσθαι καὶ ἐκπορεύεσθαι κύριος δὲ εἰ̃πεν πρός με οὐ διαβήση̨ τὸν Ιορδάνην του̃τον (Ⅲ) - et dixit ad eos : Centum viginti annorum sum hodie ; non possum ultra egredi et ingredi, præsertim cum et Dominus dixerit mihi : Non transibis Jordanem istum. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃31 ויאמר אלהם בן מאה ועשרים שנה אנכי היום לא אוכל עוד לצאת ולבוא ויהוה אמר אלי לא תעבר את הירדן הזה (Ⅴ)

The LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said.
- L'Éternel, ton Dieu, marchera lui-même devant toi, il détruira ces nations devant toi, et tu t'en rendras maître. Josué marchera aussi devant toi, comme l'Éternel l'a dit. (Ⅱ) - κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου αὐτὸς ἐξολεθρεύσει τὰ ἔθνη ταυ̃τα ἀπὸ προσώπου σου καὶ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτούς καὶ 'Ιησου̃ς ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου καθὰ ἐλάλησεν κύριος (Ⅲ) - Dominus ergo Deus tuus transibit ante te : ipse delebit omnes gentes has in conspectu tuo, et possidebis eas : et Josue iste transibit ante te, sicut locutus est Dominus. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃31 יהוה אלהיך הוא עבר לפניך הוא ישמיד את הגוים האלה מלפניך וירשתם יהושע הוא עבר לפניך כאשר דבר יהוה (Ⅴ)

And the LORD shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.
- L'Éternel traitera ces nations comme il a traité Sihon et Og, rois des Amoréens, qu'il a détruits avec leur pays. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ποιήσει κύριος αὐτοι̃ς καθὰ ἐποίησεν Σηων καὶ Ωγ τοι̃ς δυσὶ βασιλευ̃σιν τω̃ν Αμορραίων οἳ ἠ̃σαν πέραν του̃ Ιορδάνου καὶ τη̨̃ γη̨̃ αὐτω̃ν καθότι ἐξωλέθρευσεν αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Facietque Dominus eis sicut fecit Sehon et Og regibus Amorrhæorum, et terræ eorum, delebitque eos. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃31 ועשה יהוה להם כאשר עשה לסיחון ולעוג מלכי האמרי ולארצם אשר השמיד אתם (Ⅴ)

And the LORD shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you.
- L'Éternel vous les livrera, et vous agirez à leur égard selon tous les ordres que je vous ai donnés. (Ⅱ) - καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ὑμι̃ν καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτοι̃ς καθότι ἐνετειλάμην ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ) - Cum ergo et hos tradiderit vobis, similiter facietis eis, sicut præcepi vobis. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃31 ונתנם יהוה לפניכם ועשיתם להם ככל המצוה אשר צויתי אתכם (Ⅴ)

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- Fortifiez-vous et ayez du courage! Ne craignez point et ne soyez point effrayés devant eux; car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, marchera lui-même avec toi, il ne te délaissera point, il ne t'abandonnera point. (Ⅱ) - ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε μὴ φοβου̃ μηδὲ δειλία μηδὲ πτοηθη̨̃ς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος μεθ' ὑμω̃ν ἐν ὑμι̃ν οὐ μή σε ἀνη̨̃ οὔτε μή σε ἐγκαταλίπη̨ (Ⅲ) - Viriliter agite, et confortamini : nolite timere, nec paveatis ad conspectum eorum : quia Dominus Deus tuus ipse est ductor tuus, et non dimittet, nec derelinquet te.\ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃31 חזקו ואמצו אל תיראו ואל תערצו מפניהם כי יהוה אלהיך הוא ההלך עמך לא ירפך ולא יעזבך פ (Ⅴ)

And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
- Moïse appela Josué, et lui dit en présence de tout Israël: Fortifie-toi et prends courage, car tu entreras avec ce peuple dans le pays que l'Éternel a juré à leurs pères de leur donner, et c'est toi qui les en mettras en possession. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυση̃ς 'Ιησου̃ν καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ ἔναντι παντὸς Ισραηλ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε σὺ γὰρ εἰσελεύση̨ πρὸ προσώπου του̃ λαου̃ τούτου εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ἣν ὤμοσεν κύριος τοι̃ς πατράσιν ἡμω̃ν δου̃ναι αὐτοι̃ς καὶ σὺ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτὴν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - Vocavitque Moyses Josue, et dixit ei coram omni Israël : Confortare, et esto robustus : tu enim introduces populum istum in terram, quam daturum se patribus eorum juravit Dominus, et tu eam sorte divides. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃31 ויקרא משה ליהושע ויאמר אליו לעיני כל ישראל[U] חזק ואמץ כי אתה תבוא את העם הזה אל הארץ אשר נשבע יהוה לאבתם לתת להם ואתה תנחילנה אותם (Ⅴ)

And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
- L'Éternel marchera lui-même devant toi, il sera lui-même avec toi, il ne te délaissera point, il ne t'abandonnera point; ne crains point, et ne t'effraie point. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κύριος ὁ συμπορευόμενος μετὰ σου̃ οὐκ ἀνήσει σε οὐδὲ μὴ ἐγκαταλίπη̨ σε μὴ φοβου̃ μηδὲ δειλία (Ⅲ) - Et Dominus qui ductor est vester, ipse erit tecum : non dimittet, nec derelinquet te : noli timere, nec paveas.\ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃31 ויהוה הוא ההלך לפניך הוא יהיה עמך לא ירפך ולא יעזבך לא תירא ולא תחת (Ⅴ)

And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
- Moïse écrivit cette loi, et il la remit aux sacrificateurs, fils de Lévi, qui portaient l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel, et à tous les anciens d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωυση̃ς τὰ ῥήματα του̃ νόμου τούτου εἰς βιβλίον καὶ ἔδωκεν τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σιν τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Λευι τοι̃ς αἴρουσιν τὴν κιβωτὸν τη̃ς διαθήκης κυρίου καὶ τοι̃ς πρεσβυτέροις τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Scripsit itaque Moyses legem hanc, et tradidit eam sacerdotibus filiis Levi, qui portabant arcam fœderis Domini, et cunctis senioribus Israël. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃31 ויכתב משה את התורה הזאת ויתנה אל הכהנים בני לוי הנשאים את ארון ברית יהוה ואל כל זקני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
- Moïse leur donna cet ordre: Tous les sept ans, à l'époque de l'année du relâche, à la fête des tabernacles, (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοι̃ς Μωυση̃ς ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ λέγων μετὰ ἑπτὰ ἔτη ἐν καιρω̨̃ ἐνιαυτου̃ ἀφέσεως ἐν ἑορτη̨̃ σκηνοπηγίας (Ⅲ) - Præcepitque eis, dicens : Post septem annos, anno remissionis, in solemnitate tabernaculorum, (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃31 ויצו משה אותם לאמר מקץ שבע שנים במעד שנת השמטה בחג הסכות (Ⅴ)

When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
- quand tout Israël viendra se présenter devant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu qu'il choisira, tu liras cette loi devant tout Israël, en leur présence. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τω̨̃ συμπορεύεσθαι πάντα Ισραηλ ὀφθη̃ναι ἐνώπιον κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου ἐν τω̨̃ τόπω̨ ὡ̨̃ ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ἀναγνώσεσθε τὸν νόμον του̃τον ἐναντίον παντὸς Ισραηλ εἰς τὰ ὠ̃τα αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - convenientibus cunctis ex Israël, ut appareant in conspectu Domini Dei tui in loco quem elegerit Dominus, leges verba legis hujus coram omni Israël, audientibus eis, (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃31 בבוא כל ישראל לראות את פני יהוה אלהיך במקום אשר יבחר תקרא את התורה הזאת נגד כל ישראל באזניהם (Ⅴ)

Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
- Tu rassembleras le peuple, les hommes, les femmes, les enfants, et l'étranger qui sera dans tes portes, afin qu'ils t'entendent, et afin qu'ils apprennent à craindre l'Éternel, votre Dieu, à observer et à mettre en pratique toutes les paroles de cette loi. (Ⅱ) - ἐκκλησιάσας τὸν λαόν τοὺς ἄνδρας καὶ τὰς γυναι̃κας καὶ τὰ ἔκγονα καὶ τὸν προσήλυτον τὸν ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσιν ὑμω̃ν ἵνα ἀκούσωσιν καὶ ἵνα μάθωσιν φοβει̃σθαι κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἀκούσονται ποιει̃ν πάντας τοὺς λόγους του̃ νόμου τούτου (Ⅲ) - et in unum omni populo congregato, tam viris quam mulieribus, parvulis, et advenis, qui sunt intra portas tuas : ut audientes discant, et timeant Dominum Deum vestrum, et custodiant, impleantque omnes sermones legis hujus. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃31 הקהל את העם האנשים והנשים והטף וגרך אשר בשעריך למען ישמעו ולמען ילמדו ויראו את יהוה אלהיכם ושמרו לעשות את כל דברי התורה הזאת (Ⅴ)

And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
- Et leurs enfants qui ne la connaîtront pas l'entendront, et ils apprendront à craindre l'Éternel, votre Dieu, tout le temps que vous vivrez dans le pays dont vous prendrez possession, après avoir passé le Jourdain. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτω̃ν οἳ οὐκ οἴδασιν ἀκούσονται καὶ μαθήσονται φοβει̃σθαι κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμω̃ν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ὅσας αὐτοὶ ζω̃σιν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς εἰς ἣν ὑμει̃ς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ιορδάνην ἐκει̃ κληρονομη̃σαι αὐτήν (Ⅲ) - Filii quoque eorum qui nunc ignorant, ut audire possint, et timeant Dominum Deum suum cunctis diebus quibus versantur in terra, ad quam vos, Jordane transmisso, pergitis obtinendam.\ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃31 ובניהם אשר לא ידעו ישמעו ולמדו ליראה את יהוה אלהיכם כל הימים אשר אתם חיים על האדמה אשר אתם עברים את הירדן שמה לרשתה פ (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.
- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Voici, le moment approche où tu vas mourir. Appelle Josué, et présentez-vous dans la tente d'assignation. Je lui donnerai mes ordres. Moïse et Josué allèrent se présenter dans la tente d'assignation. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν ἰδοὺ ἠγγίκασιν αἱ ἡμέραι του̃ θανάτου σου κάλεσον 'Ιησου̃ν καὶ στη̃τε παρὰ τὰς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐντελου̃μαι αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἐπορεύθη Μωυση̃ς καὶ 'Ιησου̃ς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔστησαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου (Ⅲ) - Et ait Dominus ad Moysen : Ecce prope sunt dies mortis tuæ : voca Josue, et state in tabernaculo testimonii, ut præcipiam ei. Abierunt ergo Moyses et Josue, et steterunt in tabernaculo testimonii : (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃31 ויאמר יהוה אל משה הן קרבו ימיך למות קרא את יהושע והתיצבו באהל מועד ואצונו וילך משה ויהושע ויתיצבו באהל מועד (Ⅴ)

And the LORD appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle.
- Et l'Éternel apparut dans la tente dans une colonne de nuée; et la colonne de nuée s'arrêta à l'entrée de la tente. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν νεφέλη̨ καὶ ἔστη παρὰ τὰς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔστη ὁ στυ̃λος τη̃ς νεφέλης παρὰ τὰς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς (Ⅲ) - apparuitque Dominus ibi in columna nubis, quæ stetit in introitu tabernaculi. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃31 וירא יהוה באהל בעמוד ענן ויעמד עמוד הענן על פתח האהל ס (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Voici, tu vas être couché avec tes pères. Et ce peuple se lèvera, et se prostituera après les dieux étrangers du pays au milieu duquel il entre. Il m'abandonnera, et il violera mon alliance, que j'ai traitée avec lui. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν ἰδοὺ σὺ κοιμα̨̃ μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων σου καὶ ἀναστὰς ὁ λαὸς οὑ̃τος ἐκπορνεύσει ὀπίσω θεω̃ν ἀλλοτρίων τη̃ς γη̃ς εἰς ἣν οὑ̃τος εἰσπορεύεται ἐκει̃ εἰς αὐτήν καὶ ἐγκαταλείψουσίν με καὶ διασκεδάσουσιν τὴν διαθήκην μου ἣν διεθέμην αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen : Ecce tu dormies cum patribus tuis, et populus iste consurgens fornicabitur post deos alienos in terra, ad quam ingreditur ut habitet in ea : ibi derelinquet me, et irritum faciet fœdus, quod pepigi cum eo. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃31 ויאמר יהוה אל משה הנך שכב עם אבתיך וקם העם הזה וזנה אחרי אלהי נכר הארץ אשר הוא בא שמה בקרבו ועזבני והפר את בריתי אשר כרתי אתו (Ⅴ)

Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?
- En ce jour-là, ma colère s'enflammera contre lui. Je les abandonnerai, et je leur cacherai ma face. Il sera dévoré, il sera la proie d'une multitude de maux et d'afflictions, et alors il dira: N'est-ce point parce que mon Dieu n'est pas au milieu de moi que ces maux m'ont atteint? (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὀργισθήσομαι θυμω̨̃ εἰς αὐτοὺς ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ καὶ καταλείψω αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔσται κατάβρωμα καὶ εὑρήσουσιν αὐτὸν κακὰ πολλὰ καὶ θλίψεις καὶ ἐρει̃ ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ διότι οὐκ ἔστιν κύριος ὁ θεός μου ἐν ἐμοί εὕροσάν με τὰ κακὰ ταυ̃τα (Ⅲ) - Et irascetur furor meus contra eum in die illo : et derelinquam eum, et abscondam faciem meam ab eo, et erit in devorationem : invenient eum omnia mala et afflictiones, ita ut dicat in illo die : Vere quia non est Deus mecum, invenerunt me hæc mala. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃31 וחרה אפי בו ביום ההוא ועזבתים והסתרתי פני מהם והיה לאכל ומצאהו רעות רבות וצרות ואמר ביום ההוא הלא על כי אין אלהי בקרבי מצאוני הרעות האלה (Ⅴ)

And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.
- Et moi, je cacherai ma face en ce jour-là, à cause de tout le mal qu'il aura fait, en se tournant vers d'autres dieux. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ δὲ ἀποστροφη̨̃ ἀποστρέψω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ διὰ πάσας τὰς κακίας ἃς ἐποίησαν ὅτι ἐπέστρεψαν ἐπὶ θεοὺς ἀλλοτρίους (Ⅲ) - Ego autem abscondam, et celabo faciem meam in die illo propter omnia mala, quæ fecit, quia secutus est deos alienos.\ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃31 ואנכי הסתר אסתיר פני ביום ההוא על כל הרעה אשר עשה כי פנה אל אלהים אחרים (Ⅴ)

Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
- Maintenant, écrivez ce cantique. Enseigne-le aux enfants d'Israël, mets-le dans leur bouche, et que ce cantique me serve de témoin contre les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ νυ̃ν γράψατε τὰ ῥήματα τη̃ς ὠ̨δη̃ς ταύτης καὶ διδάξετε αὐτὴν τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐμβαλει̃τε αὐτὴν εἰς τὸ στόμα αὐτω̃ν ἵνα γένηταί μοι ἡ ὠ̨δὴ αὕτη εἰς μαρτύριον ἐν υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Nunc itaque scribite vobis canticum istud, et docete filios Israël : ut memoriter teneant, et ore decantent, et sit mihi carmen istud pro testimonio inter filios Israël. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃31 ועתה כתבו לכם את השירה הזאת ולמדה את בני ישראל שימה בפיהם למען תהיה לי השירה הזאת לעד בבני ישראל (Ⅴ)

For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
- Car je mènerai ce peuple dans le pays que j'ai juré à ses pères de lui donner, pays où coulent le lait et le miel; il mangera, se rassasiera, s'engraissera; puis il se tournera vers d'autres dieux et les servira, il me méprisera et violera mon alliance; (Ⅱ) - εἰσάξω γὰρ αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γη̃ν τὴν ἀγαθήν ἣν ὤμοσα τοι̃ς πατράσιν αὐτω̃ν δου̃ναι αὐτοι̃ς γη̃ν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι καὶ φάγονται καὶ ἐμπλησθέντες κορήσουσιν καὶ ἐπιστραφήσονται ἐπὶ θεοὺς ἀλλοτρίους καὶ λατρεύσουσιν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ παροξυνου̃σίν με καὶ διασκεδάσουσιν τὴν διαθήκην μου (Ⅲ) - Introducam enim eum in terram, pro qua juravi patribus ejus, lacte et melle manantem. Cumque comederint, et saturati, crassique fuerint, avertentur ad deos alienos, et servient eis : detrahentque mihi, et irritum facient pactum meum. And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.
- quand alors il sera atteint par une multitude de maux et d'afflictions, ce cantique, qui ne sera point oublié et que la postérité aura dans la bouche, déposera comme témoin contre ce peuple. Je connais, en effet, ses dispositions, qui déjà se manifestent aujourd'hui, avant même que je l'aie fait entrer dans le pays que j'ai juré de lui donner. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀντικαταστήσεται ἡ ὠ̨δὴ αὕτη κατὰ πρόσωπον μαρτυρου̃σα οὐ γὰρ μὴ ἐπιλησθη̨̃ ἀπὸ στόματος αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἀπὸ στόματος του̃ σπέρματος αὐτω̃ν ἐγὼ γὰρ οἰ̃δα τὴν πονηρίαν αὐτω̃ν ὅσα ποιου̃σιν ὡ̃δε σήμερον πρὸ του̃ εἰσαγαγει̃ν με αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γη̃ν τὴν ἀγαθήν ἣν ὤμοσα τοι̃ς πατράσιν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Postquam invenerint eum mala multa et afflictiones, respondebit ei canticum istud pro testimonio, quod nulla delebit oblivio ex ore seminis sui. Scio enim cogitationes ejus, quæ facturus sit hodie, antequam introducam eum in terram, quam ei pollicitus sum. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃31 והיה כי תמצאן אתו רעות רבות וצרות וענתה השירה הזאת לפניו לעד כי לא תשכח מפי זרעו כי ידעתי את יצרו אשר הוא עשה היום בטרם אביאנו אל הארץ אשר נשבעתי (Ⅴ)

Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.
- En ce jour-là, Moïse écrivit ce cantique, et il l'enseigna aux enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωυση̃ς τὴν ὠ̨δὴν ταύτην ἐν ἐκείνη̨ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ καὶ ἐδίδαξεν αὐτὴν τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Scripsit ergo Moyses canticum, et docuit filios Israël. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃31 ויכתב משה את השירה הזאת ביום ההוא וילמדה את בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.
- L'Éternel donna ses ordres à Josué, fils de Nun. Il dit: Fortifie-toi et prends courage, car c'est toi qui feras entrer les enfants d'Israël dans le pays que j'ai juré de leur donner; et je serai moi-même avec toi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυση̃ς 'Ιησοι̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε σὺ γὰρ εἰσάξεις τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ἣν ὤμοσεν κύριος αὐτοι̃ς καὶ αὐτὸς ἔσται μετὰ σου̃ (Ⅲ) - Præcepitque Dominus Josue filio Nun, et ait : Confortare, et esto robustus : tu enim introduces filios Israël in terram, quam pollicitus sum, et ego ero tecum.\ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃31 ויצו את יהושע בן נון ויאמר חזק ואמץ כי אתה תביא את בני ישראל אל הארץ אשר נשבעתי להם ואנכי אהיה עמך (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
- Lorsque Moïse eut complètement achevé d'écrire dans un livre les paroles de cette loi, (Ⅱ) - ἡνίκα δὲ συνετέλεσεν Μωυση̃ς γράφων πάντας τοὺς λόγους του̃ νόμου τούτου εἰς βιβλίον ἕως εἰς τέλος (Ⅲ) - Postquam ergo scripsit Moyses verba legis hujus in volumine, atque complevit, (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃31 ויהי ככלות משה לכתב את דברי התורה הזאת על ספר עד תמם (Ⅴ)

That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying,
- il donna cet ordre aux Lévites qui portaient l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐνετείλατο τοι̃ς Λευίταις τοι̃ς αἴρουσιν τὴν κιβωτὸν τη̃ς διαθήκης κυρίου λέγων (Ⅲ) - præcepit Levitis, qui portabant arcam fœderis Domini, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃31 ויצו משה את הלוים נשאי[C][c] ארון ברית יהוה לאמר (Ⅴ)

Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
- Prenez ce livre de la loi, et mettez-le à côté de l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel, votre Dieu, et il sera là comme témoin contre toi. (Ⅱ) - λαβόντες τὸ βιβλίον του̃ νόμου τούτου θήσετε αὐτὸ ἐκ πλαγίων τη̃ς κιβωτου̃ τη̃ς διαθήκης κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἔσται ἐκει̃ ἐν σοὶ εἰς μαρτύριον (Ⅲ) - Tollite librum istum, et ponite eum in latere arcæ fœderis Domini Dei vestri : ut sit ibi contra te in testimonium. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃31 לקח את ספר התורה הזה ושמתם אתו מצד ארון ברית יהוה אלהיכם והיה שם בך לעד (Ⅴ)

For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?
- Car je connais ton esprit de rébellion et la roideur de ton cou. Si vous êtes rebelles contre l'Éternel pendant que je suis encore vivant au milieu de vous, combien plus le serez-vous après ma mort! (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐπίσταμαι τὸν ἐρεθισμόν σου καὶ τὸν τράχηλόν σου τὸν σκληρόν ἔτι γὰρ ἐμου̃ ζω̃ντος μεθ' ὑμω̃ν σήμερον παραπικραίνοντες ἠ̃τε τὰ πρὸς τὸν θεόν πω̃ς οὐχὶ καὶ ἔσχατον του̃ θανάτου μου (Ⅲ) - Ego enim scio contentionem tuam, et cervicem tuam durissimam. Adhuc vivente me et ingrediente vobiscum, semper contentiose egistis contra Dominum : quanto magis cum mortuus fuero ? (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃31 כי אנכי ידעתי את מריך ואת ערפך הקשה הן בעודני חי עמכם היום ממרים היתם עם יהוה ואף כי אחרי מותי (Ⅴ)

Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.
- Assemblez devant moi tous les anciens de vos tribus et vos officiers; je dirai ces paroles en leur présence, et je prendrai à témoin contre eux le ciel et la terre. (Ⅱ) - ἐκκλησιάσατε πρός με τοὺς φυλάρχους ὑμω̃ν καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους ὑμω̃ν καὶ τοὺς κριτὰς ὑμω̃ν καὶ τοὺς γραμματοεισαγωγει̃ς ὑμω̃ν ἵνα λαλήσω εἰς τὰ ὠ̃τα αὐτω̃ν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ διαμαρτύρωμαι αὐτοι̃ς τόν τε οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅲ) - Congregate ad me omnes majores natu per tribus vestras, atque doctores, et loquar audientibus eis sermones istos, et invocabo contra eos cælum et terram. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃31 הקהילו אלי את כל זקני שבטיכם ושטריכם ואדברה באזניהם את הדברים האלה ואעידה בם את השמים ואת הארץ (Ⅴ)

For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
- Car je sais qu'après ma mort vous vous corromprez, et que vous vous détournerez de la voie que je vous ai prescrite; et le malheur finira par vous atteindre, quand vous ferez ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, au point de l'irriter par l'oeuvre de vos mains. (Ⅱ) - οἰ̃δα γὰρ ὅτι ἔσχατον τη̃ς τελευτη̃ς μου ἀνομία̨ ἀνομήσετε καὶ ἐκκλινει̃τε ἐκ τη̃ς ὁδου̃ ἡ̃ς ἐνετειλάμην ὑμι̃ν καὶ συναντήσεται ὑμι̃ν τὰ κακὰ ἔσχατον τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν ὅτι ποιήσετε τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου παροργίσαι αὐτὸν ἐν τοι̃ς ἔργοις τω̃ν χειρω̃ν ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Novi enim quod post mortem meam inique agetis, et declinabitis cito de via, quam præcepi vobis : et occurrent vobis mala in extremo tempore, quando feceritis malum in conspectu Domini, ut irritetis eum per opera manuum vestrarum.\ (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃31 כי ידעתי אחרי מותי כי השחת תשחתון וסרתם מן הדרך אשר צויתי אתכם וקראת אתכם הרעה באחרית הימים כי תעשו את הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיסו במעשה ידיכם (Ⅴ)

And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.
- Moïse prononça dans leur entier les paroles de ce cantique, en présence de toute l'assemblée d'Israël: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυση̃ς εἰς τὰ ὠ̃τα πάσης ἐκκλησίας Ισραηλ τὰ ῥήματα τη̃ς ὠ̨δη̃ς ταύτης ἕως εἰς τέλος (Ⅲ) - Locutus est ergo Moyses, audiente universo cœtu Israël, verba carminis hujus, et ad finem usque complevit. (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃31 וידבר משה באזני כל קהל ישראל את דברי השירה הזאת עד תמם פ (Ⅴ)
