The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;
- Le péché de Juda est écrit avec un burin de fer, Avec une pointe de diamant; Il est gravé sur la table de leur coeur, Et sur les cornes de vos autels. Whilst their children remember their altars and their groves by the green trees upon the high hills.
- Comme ils pensent à leurs enfants, ainsi pensent-ils à leurs autels Et à leurs idoles d'Astarté près des arbres verts, Sur les collines élevées. (Ⅱ) - Cum recordati fuerint filii eorum ararum suarum,/ et lucorum suorum,/ lignorumque frondentium,/ in montibus excelsis,/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃17 כזכר בניהם מזבחותם ואשריהם על עץ רענן על גבעות הגבהות (Ⅴ)

O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance and all thy treasures to the spoil, and thy high places for sin, throughout all thy borders.
- Je livre au pillage ma montagne et ses champs, tes biens, tous tes trésors, Et tes hauts lieux, à cause de tes péchés, sur tout ton territoire. (Ⅱ) - sacrificantes in agro :/ fortitudinem tuam, et omnes thesauros tuos in direptionem dabo ;/ excelsa tua propter peccata in universis finibus tuis./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃17 הררי בשדה חילך כל אוצרותיך לבז אתן במתיך בחטאת בכל גבוליך (Ⅴ)

And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
- Tu perdras par ta faute l'héritage que je t'avais donné; Je t'asservirai à ton ennemi dans un pays que tu ne connais pas; Car vous avez allumé le feu de ma colère, Et il brûlera toujours. (Ⅱ) - Et relinqueris sola ab hæreditate tua, quam dedi tibi,/ et servire te faciam inimicis tuis in terra quam ignoras :/ quoniam ignem succendisti in furore meo :/ usque in æternum ardebit.]\ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃17 ושמטתה ובך מנחלתך אשר נתתי לך והעבדתיך את איביך בארץ אשר לא ידעת כי אש קדחתם באפי עד עולם תוקד ס (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Maudit soit l'homme qui se confie dans l'homme, Qui prend la chair pour son appui, Et qui détourne son coeur de l'Éternel! (Ⅱ) - ἐπικατάρατος ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὃς τὴν ἐλπίδα ἔχει ἐπ' ἄνθρωπον καὶ στηρίσει σάρκα βραχίονος αὐτου̃ ἐπ' αὐτόν καὶ ἀπὸ κυρίου ἀποστη̨̃ ἡ καρδία αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Maledictus homo qui confidit in homine,/ et ponit carnem brachium suum,/ et a Domino recedit cor ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃17 כה אמר יהוה ארור הגבר אשר יבטח באדם ושם בשר זרעו ומן יהוה יסור לבו (Ⅴ)

For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
- Il est comme un misérable dans le désert, Et il ne voit point arriver le bonheur; Il habite les lieux brûlés du désert, Une terre salée et sans habitants. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἡ ἀγριομυρίκη ἡ ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ οὐκ ὄψεται ὅταν ἔλθη̨ τὰ ἀγαθά καὶ κατασκηνώσει ἐν ἁλίμοις καὶ ἐν ἐρήμω̨ ἐν γη̨̃ ἁλμυρα̨̃ ἥτις οὐ κατοικει̃ται (Ⅲ) - Erit enim quasi myricæ in deserto,/ et non videbit cum venerit bonum :/ sed habitabit in siccitate in deserto,/ in terra salsuginis et inhabitabili./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃17 והיה כערער בערבה ולא יראה כי יבוא טוב ושכן חררים במדבר ארץ מלחה ולא תשב ס (Ⅴ)

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
- Béni soit l'homme qui se confie dans l'Éternel, Et dont l'Éternel est l'espérance! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εὐλογημένος ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὃς πέποιθεν ἐπὶ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ καὶ ἔσται κύριος ἐλπὶς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Benedictus vir qui confidit in Domino,/ et erit Dominus fiducia ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃17 ברוך הגבר אשר יבטח ביהוה והיה יהוה מבטחו (Ⅴ)

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
- Il est comme un arbre planté près des eaux, Et qui étend ses racines vers le courant; Il n'aperçoit point la chaleur quand elle vient, Et son feuillage reste vert; Dans l'année de la sécheresse, il n'a point de crainte, Et il ne cesse de porter du fruit. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ὡς ξύλον εὐθηνου̃ν παρ' ὕδατα καὶ ἐπὶ ἰκμάδα βαλει̃ ῥίζας αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐ φοβηθήσεται ὅταν ἔλθη̨ καυ̃μα καὶ ἔσται ἐπ' αὐτω̨̃ στελέχη ἀλσώδη ἐν ἐνιαυτω̨̃ ἀβροχίας οὐ φοβηθήσεται καὶ οὐ διαλείψει ποιω̃ν καρπόν (Ⅲ) - Et erit quasi lignum quod transplantatur super aquas,/ quod ad humorem mittit radices suas,/ et non timebit cum venerit æstus :/ et erit folium ejus viride,/ et in tempore siccitatis non erit sollicitum,/ nec aliquando desinet facere fructum./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃17 והיה כעץ שתול על מים ועל יובל ישלח שרשיו ולא *ירא **יראה כי יבא חם והיה עלהו רענן ובשנת בצרת לא ידאג ולא ימיש מעשות פרי (Ⅴ)

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
- Le coeur est tortueux par-dessus tout, et il est méchant: Qui peut le connaître? (Ⅱ) - βαθει̃α ἡ καρδία παρὰ πάντα καὶ ἄνθρωπός ἐστιν καὶ τίς γνώσεται αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - Pravum est cor omnium, et inscrutabile :/ quis cognoscet illud ?/ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃17 עקב הלב מכל ואנש הוא מי ידענו (Ⅴ)

I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
- Moi, l'Éternel, j'éprouve le coeur, je sonde les reins, Pour rendre à chacun selon ses voies, Selon le fruit de ses oeuvres. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ κύριος ἐτάζων καρδίας καὶ δοκιμάζων νεφροὺς του̃ δου̃ναι ἑκάστω̨ κατὰ τὰς ὁδοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ κατὰ τοὺς καρποὺς τω̃ν ἐπιτηδευμάτων αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Ego Dominus scrutans cor,/ et probans renes :/ qui do unicuique juxta viam suam,/ et juxta fructum adinventionum suarum./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃17 אני יהוה חקר לב בחן כליות ולתת לאיש *כדרכו **כדרכיו כפרי מעלליו ס (Ⅴ)

As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
- Comme une perdrix qui couve des oeufs qu'elle n'a point pondus, Tel est celui qui acquiert des richesses injustement; Au milieu de ses jours il doit les quitter, Et à la fin il n'est qu'un insensé. (Ⅱ) - ἐφώνησεν πέρδιξ συνήγαγεν ἃ οὐκ ἔτεκεν ποιω̃ν πλου̃τον αὐτου̃ οὐ μετὰ κρίσεως ἐν ἡμίσει ἡμερω̃ν αὐτου̃ ἐγκαταλείψουσιν αὐτόν καὶ ἐπ' ἐσχάτων αὐτου̃ ἔσται ἄφρων (Ⅲ) - Perdix fovit quæ non peperit :/ fecit divitias, et non in judicio :/ in dimidio dierum suorum derelinquet eas,/ et in novissimo suo erit insipiens./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃17 קרא דגר ולא ילד עשה עשר ולא במשפט בחצי *ימו **ימיו יעזבנו ובאחריתו יהיה נבל (Ⅴ)

A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.
- Il est un trône de gloire, élevé dès le commencement, C'est le lieu de notre sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - θρόνος δόξης ὑψωμένος ἁγίασμα ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Solium gloriæ altitudinis a principio,/ locus sanctificationis nostræ./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃17 כסא כבוד מרום מראשון מקום מקדשנו (Ⅴ)

O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.
- Toi qui es l'espérance d'Israël, ô Éternel! Tous ceux qui t'abandonnent seront confondus. -Ceux qui se détournent de moi seront inscrits sur la terre, Car ils abandonnent la source d'eau vive, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - ὑπομονὴ Ισραηλ κύριε πάντες οἱ καταλιπόντες σε καταισχυνθήτωσαν ἀφεστηκότες ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς γραφήτωσαν ὅτι ἐγκατέλιπον πηγὴν ζωη̃ς τὸν κύριον (Ⅲ) - Exspectatio Israël, Domine,/ omnes qui te derelinquunt confundentur :/ recedentes a te, in terra scribentur,/ quoniam dereliquerunt venam aquarum viventium Dominum./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃17 מקוה ישראל יהוה כל עזביך יבשו *יסורי **וסורי בארץ יכתבו כי עזבו מקור מים חיים את יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
- Guéris-moi, Éternel, et je serai guéri; Sauve-moi, et je serai sauvé; Car tu es ma gloire. (Ⅱ) - ἴασαί με κύριε καὶ ἰαθήσομαι σω̃σόν με καὶ σωθήσομαι ὅτι καύχημά μου σὺ εἰ̃ (Ⅲ) - Sana me, Domine, et sanabor :/ salvum me fac, et salvus ero :/ quoniam laus mea tu es./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃17 רפאני יהוה וארפא הושיעני ואושעה כי תהלתי אתה (Ⅴ)

Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the LORD? let it come now.

As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was right before thee.
- Et moi, pour t'obéir, je n'ai pas refusé d'être pasteur; Je n'ai pas non plus désiré le jour du malheur, tu le sais; Ce qui est sorti de mes lèvres a été découvert devant toi. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ δὲ οὐκ ἐκοπίασα κατακολουθω̃ν ὀπίσω σου καὶ ἡμέραν ἀνθρώπου οὐκ ἐπεθύμησα σὺ ἐπίστη̨ τὰ ἐκπορευόμενα διὰ τω̃ν χειλέων μου πρὸ προσώπου σού ἐστιν (Ⅲ) - et ego non sum turbatus, te pastorem sequens :/ et diem hominis non desideravi, tu scis :/ quod egressum est de labiis meis, rectum in conspectu tuo fuit./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃17 ואני לא אצתי מרעה אחריך ויום אנוש לא התאויתי אתה ידעת מוצא שפתי נכח פניך היה (Ⅴ)

Be not a terror unto me: thou art my hope in the day of evil.
- Ne sois pas pour moi un sujet d'effroi, Toi, mon refuge au jour du malheur! (Ⅱ) - μὴ γενηθη̨̃ς μοι εἰς ἀλλοτρίωσιν φειδόμενός μου ἐν ἡμέρα̨ πονηρα̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Non sis tu mihi formidini :/ spes mea tu in die afflictionis./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃17 אל תהיה לי למחתה מחסי אתה ביום רעה (Ⅴ)

Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.
- Que mes persécuteurs soient confus, et que je ne sois pas confus; Qu'ils tremblent, et que je ne tremble pas, moi! Fais venir sur eux le jour du malheur, Frappe-les d'une double plaie! (Ⅱ) - καταισχυνθήτωσαν οἱ διώκοντές με καὶ μὴ καταισχυνθείην ἐγώ πτοηθείησαν αὐτοί καὶ μὴ πτοηθείην ἐγώ ἐπάγαγε ἐπ' αὐτοὺς ἡμέραν πονηράν δισσὸν σύντριμμα σύντριψον αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Confundantur qui me persequuntur,/ et non confundar ego :/ paveant illi,/ et non paveam ego :/ induc super eos diem afflictionis,/ et duplici contritione contere eos.]\ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃17 יבשו רדפי ואל אבשה אני יחתו המה ואל אחתה אני הביא עליהם יום רעה ומשנה שברון שברם ס (Ⅴ)

Thus said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;
- Ainsi m'a parlé l'Éternel: Va, et tiens-toi à la porte des enfants du peuple, par laquelle entrent et sortent les rois de Juda, et à toutes les portes de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος βάδισον καὶ στη̃θι ἐν πύλαις υἱω̃ν λαου̃ σου ἐν αἱ̃ς εἰσπορεύονται ἐν αὐται̃ς βασιλει̃ς Ιουδα καὶ ἐν αἱ̃ς ἐκπορεύονται ἐν αὐται̃ς καὶ ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς πύλαις Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus ad me : Vade, et sta in porta filiorum populi, per quam ingrediuntur reges Juda, et egrediuntur, et in cunctis portis Jerusalem : (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃17 כה אמר יהוה אלי הלך ועמדת בשער בני *עם **העם אשר יבאו בו מלכי יהודה ואשר יצאו בו ובכל שערי ירושלם (Ⅴ)

And say unto them, Hear ye the word of the LORD, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates:
- Tu leur diras: Écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, rois de Juda, et tout Juda, et vous tous, habitants de Jérusalem, qui entrez par ces portes! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτούς ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου βασιλει̃ς Ιουδα καὶ πα̃σα Ιουδαία καὶ πα̃σα Ιερουσαλημ οἱ εἰσπορευόμενοι ἐν ται̃ς πύλαις ταύταις (Ⅲ) - et dices ad eos : [Audite verbum Domini,/ reges Juda, et omnis Juda,/ cunctique habitatores Jerusalem,/ qui ingredimini per portas istas./ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃17 ואמרת אליהם שמעו דבר יהוה מלכי יהודה וכל יהודה וכל ישבי ירושלם הבאים בשערים האלה ס (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Prenez garde à vos âmes; Ne portez point de fardeau le jour du sabbat, Et n'en introduisez point par les portes de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος φυλάσσεσθε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμω̃ν καὶ μὴ αἴρετε βαστάγματα ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τω̃ν σαββάτων καὶ μὴ ἐκπορεύεσθε ται̃ς πύλαις Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Custodite animas vestras,/ et nolite portare pondera in die sabbati,/ nec inferatis per portas Jerusalem :/ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃17 כה אמר יהוה השמרו בנפשותיכם ואל תשאו משא ביום השבת והבאתם בשערי ירושלם (Ⅴ)

Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
- Ne sortez de vos maisons aucun fardeau le jour du sabbat, Et ne faites aucun ouvrage; Mais sanctifiez le jour du sabbat, Comme je l'ai ordonné à vos pères. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μὴ ἐκφέρετε βαστάγματα ἐξ οἰκιω̃ν ὑμω̃ν ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τω̃ν σαββάτων καὶ πα̃ν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσετε ἁγιάσατε τὴν ἡμέραν τω̃ν σαββάτων καθὼς ἐνετειλάμην τοι̃ς πατράσιν ὑμω̃ν καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσαν καὶ οὐκ ἔκλιναν τὸ οὐ̃ς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - et nolite ejicere onera de domibus vestris in die sabbati,/ et omne opus non facietis :/ sanctificate diem sabbati,/ sicut præcepi patribus vestris./ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃17 ולא תוציאו משא מבתיכם ביום השבת וכל מלאכה לא תעשו וקדשתם את יום השבת כאשר צויתי את אבותיכם (Ⅴ)

But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.
- Ils n'ont pas écouté, ils n'ont pas prêté l'oreille; Ils ont raidi leur cou, Pour ne point écouter et ne point recevoir instruction. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐσκλήρυναν τὸν τράχηλον αὐτω̃ν ὑπὲρ τοὺς πατέρας αὐτω̃ν του̃ μὴ ἀκου̃σαί μου καὶ του̃ μὴ δέξασθαι παιδείαν (Ⅲ) - Et non audierunt, nec inclinaverunt aurem suam :/ sed induraverunt cervicem suam, ne audirent me,/ et ne acciperent disciplinam./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃17 ולא שמעו ולא הטו את אזנם ויקשו את ערפם לבלתי *שומע **שמוע ולבלתי קחת מוסר (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
- Si vous m'écoutez, dit l'Éternel, Si vous n'introduisez point de fardeau Par les portes de cette ville le jour du sabbat, Si vous sanctifiez le jour du sabbat, Et ne faites aucun ouvrage ce jour-là, (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν ἀκοη̨̃ ἀκούσητέ μου λέγει κύριος του̃ μὴ εἰσφέρειν βαστάγματα διὰ τω̃ν πυλω̃ν τη̃ς πόλεως ταύτης ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τω̃ν σαββάτων καὶ ἁγιάζειν τὴν ἡμέραν τω̃ν σαββάτων του̃ μὴ ποιει̃ν πα̃ν ἔργον (Ⅲ) - Et erit : si audieritis me, dicit Dominus,/ ut non inferatis onera per portas civitatis hujus in die sabbati :/ et si sanctificaveritis diem sabbati,/ ne faciatis in eo omne opus :/ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃17 והיה אם שמע תשמעון אלי נאם יהוה לבלתי הביא משא בשערי העיר הזאת ביום השבת ולקדש את יום השבת לבלתי עשות *בה **בו כל מלאכה (Ⅴ)

Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.
- Alors entreront par les portes de cette ville Les rois et les princes assis sur le trône de David, Montés sur des chars et sur des chevaux, Eux et leurs princes, les hommes de Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem, Et cette ville sera habitée à toujours. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰσελεύσονται διὰ τω̃ν πυλω̃ν τη̃ς πόλεως ταύτης βασιλει̃ς καὶ ἄρχοντες καθήμενοι ἐπὶ θρόνου Δαυιδ καὶ ἐπιβεβηκότες ἐφ' ἅρμασιν καὶ ἵπποις αὐτω̃ν αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτω̃ν ἄνδρες Ιουδα καὶ οἱ κατοικου̃ντες Ιερουσαλημ καὶ κατοικισθήσεται ἡ πόλις αὕτη εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ) - ingredientur per portas civitatis hujus reges et principes,/ sedentes super solium David,/ et ascendentes in curribus et equis,/ ipsi et principes eorum,/ viri Juda, et habitatores Jerusalem :/ et habitabitur civitas hæc in sempiternum./ (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃17 ובאו בשערי העיר הזאת מלכים ושרים ישבים על כסא דוד רכבים ברכב ובסוסים המה ושריהם איש יהודה וישבי ירושלם וישבה העיר הזאת לעולם (Ⅴ)

And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.
- On viendra des villes de Juda et des environs de Jérusalem, Du pays de Benjamin, de la vallée, De la montagne et du midi, Pour amener des holocaustes et des victimes, Pour apporter des offrandes et de l'encens, Et pour offrir des sacrifices d'actions de grâces dans la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἥξουσιν ἐκ τω̃ν πόλεων Ιουδα καὶ κυκλόθεν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐκ γη̃ς Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐκ τη̃ς πεδινη̃ς καὶ ἐκ του̃ ὄρους καὶ ἐκ τη̃ς πρὸς νότον φέροντες ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ θυσίαν καὶ θυμιάματα καὶ μαναα καὶ λίβανον φέροντες αἴνεσιν εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Et venient de civitatibus Juda,/ et de circuitu Jerusalem,/ et de terra Benjamin,/ et de campestribus, et de montuosis, et ab austro,/ portantes holocaustum, et victimam,/ et sacrificium, et thus,/ et inferent oblationem in domum Domini./ (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃17 ובאו מערי יהודה ומסביבות ירושלם ומארץ בנימן ומן השפלה ומן ההר ומן הנגב מבאים עולה וזבח ומנחה ולבונה ומבאי תודה בית יהוה (Ⅴ)

But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
- Mais si vous n'écoutez pas quand je vous ordonne De sanctifier le jour du sabbat, De ne porter aucun fardeau, De ne point en introduire par les portes de Jérusalem le jour du sabbat, Alors j'allumerai un feu aux portes de la ville, Et il dévorera les palais de Jérusalem et ne s'éteindra point. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν μὴ εἰσακούσητέ μου του̃ ἁγιάζειν τὴν ἡμέραν τω̃ν σαββάτων του̃ μὴ αἴρειν βαστάγματα καὶ μὴ εἰσπορεύεσθαι ται̃ς πύλαις Ιερουσαλημ ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τω̃ν σαββάτων καὶ ἀνάψω πυ̃ρ ἐν ται̃ς πύλαις αὐτη̃ς καὶ καταφάγεται ἄμφοδα Ιερουσαλημ καὶ οὐ σβεσθήσεται (Ⅲ) - Si autem non audieritis me/ ut sanctificetis diem sabbati,/ et ne portetis onus,/ et ne inferatis per portas Jerusalem in die sabbati,/ succendam ignem in portis ejus,/ et devorabit domos Jerusalem,/ et non extinguetur.] (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃17 ואם לא תשמעו אלי לקדש את יום השבת ולבלתי שאת משא ובא בשערי ירושלם ביום השבת והצתי אש בשעריה ואכלה ארמנות ירושלם ולא תכבה פ (Ⅴ)
