And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
- Dans la même année, au commencement du règne de Sédécias, roi de Juda, le cinquième mois de la quatrième année, Hanania, fils d'Azzur, prophète, de Gabaon, me dit dans la maison de l'Éternel, en présence des sacrificateurs et de tout le peuple: (Ⅱ) - Et factum est in anno illo, in principio regni Sedeciæ regis Juda, in anno quarto, in mense quinto, dixit ad me Hananias filius Azur, propheta de Gabaon, in domo Domini, coram sacerdotibus et omni populo, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃28 ויהי בשנה ההיא בראשית ממלכת צדקיה מלך יהודה *בשנת **בשנה הרבעית בחדש החמישי אמר אלי חנניה בן עזור הנביא אשר מגבעון בבית יהוה לעיני הכהנים וכל העם לאמר (Ⅴ)

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Je brise le joug du roi de Babylone! (Ⅱ) - Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël : Contrivi jugum regis Babylonis. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃28 כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל לאמר שברתי את על מלך בבל (Ⅴ)

Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
- Encore deux années, et je fais revenir dans ce lieu tous les ustensiles de la maison de l'Éternel, que Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, a enlevés de ce lieu, et qu'il a emportés à Babylone. (Ⅱ) - Adhuc duo anni dierum, et ego referri faciam ad locum istum omnia vasa domus Domini, quæ tulit Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis de loco isto, et transtulit ea in Babylonem. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃28 בעוד שנתים ימים אני משיב אל המקום הזה את כל כלי בית יהוה אשר לקח נבוכדנאצר[1] מלך בבל מן המקום הזה ויביאם בבל (Ⅴ)

And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
- Et je ferai revenir dans ce lieu, dit l'Éternel, Jeconia, fils de Jojakim, roi de Juda, et tous les captifs de Juda, qui sont allés à Babylone; car je briserai le joug du roi de Babylone. (Ⅱ) - Et Jechoniam filium Joakim regem Juda, et omnem transmigrationem Juda, qui ingressi sunt in Babylonem, ego convertam ad locum istum, ait Dominus : conteram enim jugum regis Babylonis. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃28 ואת יכניה בן יהויקים מלך יהודה ואת כל גלות יהודה הבאים בבלה אני משיב אל המקום הזה נאם יהוה כי אשבר את על מלך בבל (Ⅴ)

Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD,
- Jérémie, le prophète, répondit à Hanania, le prophète, en présence des sacrificateurs et de tout le peuple qui se tenaient dans la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - Et dixit Jeremias propheta ad Hananiam prophetam, in oculis sacerdotum, et in oculis omnis populi qui stabat in domo Domini : (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃28 ויאמר ירמיה הנביא אל חנניה הנביא לעיני הכהנים ולעיני כל העם העמדים בבית יהוה (Ⅴ)

Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
- Jérémie, le prophète, dit: Amen! que l'Éternel fasse ainsi! que l'Éternel accomplisse les paroles que tu as prophétisées, et qu'il fasse revenir de Babylone en ce lieu les ustensiles de la maison de l'Éternel et tous les captifs! (Ⅱ) - et ait Jeremias propheta : Amen ! sic faciat Dominus : suscitet Dominus verba tua quæ prophetasti, ut referantur vasa in domum Domini, et omnis transmigratio de Babylone ad locum istum. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃28 ויאמר ירמיה הנביא אמן כן יעשה יהוה יקם יהוה את דבריך אשר נבאת להשיב כלי בית יהוה וכל הגולה מבבל אל המקום הזה (Ⅴ)

Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people;
- Seulement écoute cette parole que je prononce à tes oreilles et aux oreilles de tout le peuple: (Ⅱ) - Verumtamen audi verbum hoc quod ego loquor in auribus tuis, et in auribus universi populi : (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃28 אך שמע נא הדבר הזה אשר אנכי דבר באזניך ובאזני כל העם (Ⅴ)

The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
- Les prophètes qui ont paru avant moi et avant toi, dès les temps anciens, ont prophétisé contre des pays puissants et de grands royaumes la guerre, le malheur et la peste; (Ⅱ) - prophetæ qui fuerunt ante me et ante te, ab initio, et prophetaverunt super terras multas et super regna magna de prælio, et de afflictione, et de fame : (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃28 הנביאים אשר היו לפני ולפניך מן העולם וינבאו אל ארצות רבות ועל ממלכות גדלות למלחמה ולרעה ולדבר (Ⅴ)

The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.
- mais si un prophète prophétise la paix, c'est par l'accomplissement de ce qu'il prophétise qu'il sera reconnu comme véritablement envoyé par l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - propheta qui vaticinatus est pacem, cum venerit verbum ejus, scietur propheta quem misit Dominus in veritate. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃28 הנביא אשר ינבא לשלום בבא דבר הנביא יודע הנביא אשר שלחו יהוה באמת (Ⅴ)

Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.
- Alors Hanania, le prophète, enleva le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie, le prophète, et il le brisa. (Ⅱ) - Et tulit Hananias propheta catenam de collo Jeremiæ prophetæ, et confregit eam. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃28 ויקח חנניה הנביא את המוטה מעל צואר ירמיה הנביא וישברהו (Ⅴ)

And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
- Et Hanania dit en présence de tout le peuple: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: C'est ainsi que, dans deux années, je briserai de dessus le cou de toutes les nations le joug de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone. Et Jérémie, le prophète, s'en alla. (Ⅱ) - Et ait Hananias in conspectu omnis populi, dicens : Hæc dicit Dominus : Sic confringam jugum Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis, post duos annos dierum de collo omnium gentium. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃28 ויאמר חנניה לעיני כל העם לאמר כה אמר יהוה ככה אשבר את על נבכדנאצר מלך בבל בעוד שנתים ימים מעל[p] צואר כל הגוים וילך ירמיה הנביא לדרכו פ (Ⅴ)

Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
- Après que Hanania, le prophète, eut brisé le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie, le prophète, la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie, en ces mots: (Ⅱ) - Et abiit Jeremias propheta in viam suam. Et factum est verbum Domini ad Jeremiam, postquam confregit Hananias propheta catenam de collo Jeremiæ prophetæ, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃28 ויהי דבר יהוה אל ירמיה אחרי שבור חנניה הנביא את המוטה מעל צואר ירמיה הנביא לאמר (Ⅴ)

Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
- Va, et dis à Hanania: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Tu as brisé un joug de bois, et tu auras à sa place un joug de fer. (Ⅱ) - Vade, et dices Hananiæ : Hæc dicit Dominus : Catenas ligneas contrivisti, et facies pro eis catenas ferreas. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃28 הלוך ואמרת אל חנניה לאמר כה אמר יהוה מוטת עץ שברת ועשית תחתיהן מטות ברזל (Ⅴ)

For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
- Car ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Je mets un joug de fer sur le cou de toutes ces nations, pour qu'elles soient asservies à Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, et elles lui seront asservies; je lui donne aussi les animaux des champs. (Ⅱ) - Quia hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël : Jugum ferreum posui super collum cunctarum gentium istarum, ut serviant Nabuchodonosor regi Babylonis, et servient ei : insuper et bestias terræ dedi ei. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃28 כי כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל על ברזל נתתי על צואר כל הגוים האלה לעבד את נבכדנאצר מלך בבל ועבדהו וגם את חית השדה נתתי לו (Ⅴ)

Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
- Et Jérémie, le prophète, dit à Hanania, le prophète: Écoute, Hanania! L'Éternel ne t'a point envoyé, et tu inspires à ce peuple une fausse confiance. (Ⅱ) - Et dixit Jeremias propheta ad Hananiam prophetam : Audi, Hanania : non misit te Dominus, et tu confidere fecisti populum istum in mendacio. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃28 ויאמר ירמיה הנביא אל חנניה הנביא שמע נא חנניה לא שלחך יהוה ואתה הבטחת את העם הזה על שקר (Ⅴ)

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.
- C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je te chasse de la terre; tu mourras cette année; car tes paroles sont une révolte contre l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - Idcirco hæc dicit Dominus : Ecce ego mittam te a facie terræ : hoc anno morieris : adversum enim Dominum locutus es. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃28 לכן כה אמר יהוה הנני משלחך מעל פני האדמה השנה אתה מת כי סרה דברת אל יהוה (Ⅴ)

So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
- Et Hanania, le prophète, mourut cette année-là, dans le septième mois. (Ⅱ) - Et mortuus est Hananias propheta in anno illo, mense septimo. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃28 וימת חנניה הנביא בשנה ההיא בחדש השביעי פ (Ⅴ)
