13. 1

Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,

- Saül était âgé de... ans, lorsqu'il devint roi, et il avait déjà régné deux ans sur Israël. (Ⅱ)

- Filius unius anni erat Saul cum regnare cœpisset : duobus autem annis regnavit super Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃13 בן שנה שאול במלכו ושתי שנים מלך על ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 2

Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.

- Saül choisit trois mille hommes d'Israël: deux mille étaient avec lui à Micmasch et sur la montagne de Béthel, et mille étaient avec Jonathan à Guibea de Benjamin. Il renvoya le reste du peuple, chacun à sa tente. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐκλέγεται Σαουλ ἑαυτω̨̃ τρει̃ς χιλιάδας ἀνδρω̃ν ἐκ τω̃ν ἀνδρω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ ἠ̃σαν μετὰ Σαουλ δισχίλιοι ἐν Μαχεμας καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ ὄρει Βαιθηλ χίλιοι ἠ̃σαν μετὰ Ιωναθαν ἐν Γαβεε του̃ Βενιαμιν καὶ τὸ κατάλοιπον του̃ λαου̃ ἐξαπέστειλεν ἕκαστον εἰς τὸ σκήνωμα αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et elegit sibi Saul tria millia de Israël : et erant cum Saul duo millia in Machmas, et in monte Bethel : mille autem cum Jonatha in Gabaa Benjamin : porro ceterum populum remisit unumquemque in tabernacula sua. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃13 ויבחר לו שאול שלשת אלפים מישראל ויהיו עם שאול אלפים במכמש ובהר בית אל ואלף היו עם יונתן בגבעת בנימין ויתר העם שלח איש לאהליו ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 3

And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.

- Jonathan battit le poste des Philistins qui étaient à Guéba, et les Philistins l'apprirent. Saül fit sonner de la trompette dans tout le pays, en disant: Que les Hébreux écoutent! (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπάταξεν Ιωναθαν τὸν Νασιβ τὸν ἀλλόφυλον τὸν ἐν τω̨̃ βουνω̨̃ καὶ ἀκούουσιν οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι καὶ Σαουλ σάλπιγγι σαλπίζει εἰς πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν λέγων ἠθετήκασιν οἱ δου̃λοι (Ⅲ)

- Et percussit Jonathas stationem Philisthinorum quæ erat in Gabaa. Quod cum audissent Philisthiim, Saul cecinit buccina in omni terra, dicens : Audiant Hebræi. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃13 ויך יונתן את נציב פלשתים אשר בגבע וישמעו פלשתים ושאול תקע בשופר בכל הארץ לאמר ישמעו העברים ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 4

And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.

- Tout Israël entendit que l'on disait: Saül a battu le poste des Philistins, et Israël se rend odieux aux Philistins. Et le peuple fut convoqué auprès de Saül à Guilgal. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ πα̃ς Ισραηλ ἤκουσεν λεγόντων πέπαικεν Σαουλ τὸν Νασιβ τὸν ἀλλόφυλον καὶ ἠ̨σχύνθησαν Ισραηλ ἐν τοι̃ς ἀλλοφύλοις καὶ ἀνεβόησαν ὁ λαὸς ὀπίσω Σαουλ ἐν Γαλγαλοις (Ⅲ)

- Et universus Israël audivit hujuscemodi famam : Percussit Saul stationem Philisthinorum, et erexit se Israël adversus Philisthiim. Clamavit ergo populus post Saul in Galgala. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃13 וכל ישראל שמעו לאמר הכה שאול את נציב פלשתים וגם נבאש ישראל בפלשתים ויצעקו העם אחרי שאול הגלגל ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 5

And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.

- Les Philistins s'assemblèrent pour combattre Israël. Ils avaient mille chars et six mille cavaliers, et ce peuple était innombrable comme le sable qui est sur le bord de la mer. Ils vinrent camper à Micmasch, à l'orient de Beth Aven. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι συνάγονται εἰς πόλεμον ἐπὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ἀναβαίνουσιν ἐπὶ Ισραηλ τριάκοντα χιλιάδες ἁρμάτων καὶ ἓξ χιλιάδες ἱππέων καὶ λαὸς ὡς ἡ ἄμμος ἡ παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν τω̨̃ πλήθει καὶ ἀναβαίνουσιν καὶ παρεμβάλλουσιν ἐν Μαχεμας ἐξ ἐναντίας Βαιθων κατὰ νότου (Ⅲ)

- Et Philisthiim congregati sunt ad præliandum contra Israël, triginta millia curruum, et sex millia equitum, et reliquum vulgus, sicut arena quæ est in littore maris plurima. Et ascendentes castrametati sunt in Machmas ad orientem Bethaven. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃13 ופלשתים נאספו להלחם עם ישראל שלשים אלף רכב וששת אלפים פרשים ועם כחול אשר על שפת הים לרב ויעלו ויחנו במכמש קדמת בית און ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 6

When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.

- Les hommes d'Israël se virent à l'extrémité, car ils étaient serrés de près, et ils se cachèrent dans les cavernes, dans les buissons, dans les rochers, dans les tours et dans les citernes. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀνὴρ Ισραηλ εἰ̃δεν ὅτι στενω̃ς αὐτω̨̃ μὴ προσάγειν αὐτόν καὶ ἐκρύβη ὁ λαὸς ἐν τοι̃ς σπηλαίοις καὶ ἐν ται̃ς μάνδραις καὶ ἐν ται̃ς πέτραις καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς βόθροις καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς λάκκοις (Ⅲ)

- Quod cum vidissent viri Israël se in arcto positos (afflictus enim erat populus), absconderunt se in speluncis, et in abditis, in petris quoque, et in antris, et in cisternis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃13 ואיש ישראל ראו כי צר לו כי נגש העם ויתחבאו העם במערות ובחוחים ובסלעים ובצרחים ובברות ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 7

And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.

- Il y eut aussi des Hébreux qui passèrent le Jourdain, pour aller au pays de Gad et de Galaad. Saül était encore à Guilgal, et tout le peuple qui se trouvait auprès de lui tremblait. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οἱ διαβαίνοντες διέβησαν τὸν Ιορδάνην εἰς γη̃ν Γαδ καὶ Γαλααδ καὶ Σαουλ ἔτι ἠ̃ν ἐν Γαλγαλοις καὶ πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς ἐξέστη ὀπίσω αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Hebræi autem transierunt Jordanem in terram Gad et Galaad.\ Cumque adhuc esset Saul in Galgala, universus populus perterritus est qui sequebatur eum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃13 ועברים עברו את הירדן ארץ גד וגלעד ושאול עודנו בגלגל וכל העם חרדו אחריו ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 8

And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.

- Il attendit sept jours, selon le terme fixé par Samuel. Mais Samuel n'arrivait pas à Guilgal, et le peuple se dispersait loin de Saül. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ διέλιπεν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας τω̨̃ μαρτυρίω̨ ὡς εἰ̃πεν Σαμουηλ καὶ οὐ παρεγένετο Σαμουηλ εἰς Γαλγαλα καὶ διεσπάρη ὁ λαὸς αὐτου̃ ἀπ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et expectavit septem diebus juxta placitum Samuelis, et non venit Samuel in Galgala, dilapsusque est populus ab eo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃13 *וייחל **ויוחל שבעת ימים למועד אשר שמואל ולא בא שמואל הגלגל ויפץ העם מעליו ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 9

And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

- Alors Saül dit: Amenez-moi l'holocauste et les sacrifices d'actions de grâces. Et il offrit l'holocauste. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σαουλ προσαγάγετε ὅπως ποιήσω ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ εἰρηνικάς καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν (Ⅲ)

- Ait ergo Saul : Afferte mihi holocaustum et pacifica. Et obtulit holocaustum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃13 ויאמר שאול הגשו אלי העלה והשלמים ויעל העלה ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 10

And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.

- Comme il achevait d'offrir l'holocauste, voici, Samuel arriva, et Saül sortit au-devant de lui pour le saluer. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς συνετέλεσεν ἀναφέρων τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ Σαμουηλ παραγίνεται καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν Σαουλ εἰς ἀπάντησιν αὐτω̨̃ εὐλογη̃σαι αὐτόν (Ⅲ)

- Cumque complesset offerens holocaustum, ecce Samuel veniebat : et egressus est Saul obviam ei ut salutaret eum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃13 ויהי ככלתו להעלות העלה והנה שמואל בא ויצא שאול לקראתו לברכו ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 11

And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;

- Samuel dit: Qu'as-tu fait? Saül répondit: Lorsque j'ai vu que le peuple se dispersait loin de moi, que tu n'arrivais pas au terme fixé, et que les Philistins étaient assemblés à Micmasch, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σαμουηλ τί πεποίηκας καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σαουλ ὅτι εἰ̃δον ὡς διεσπάρη ὁ λαὸς ἀπ' ἐμου̃ καὶ σὺ οὐ παρεγένου ὡς διετάξω ἐν τω̨̃ μαρτυρίω̨ τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν καὶ οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι συνήχθησαν εἰς Μαχεμας (Ⅲ)

- Locutusque est ad eum Samuel : Quid fecisti ? Respondit Saul : Quia vidi quod populus dilaberetur a me, et tu non veneras juxta placitos dies, porro Philisthiim congregati fuerant in Machmas, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃13 ויאמר שמואל מה עשית ויאמר שאול כי ראיתי כי נפץ העם מעלי ואתה לא באת למועד הימים ופלשתים נאספים מכמש ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 12

Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.

- je me suis dit: Les Philistins vont descendre contre moi à Guilgal, et je n'ai pas imploré l'Éternel! C'est alors que je me suis fait violence et que j'ai offert l'holocauste. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πα νυ̃ν καταβήσονται οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι πρός με εἰς Γαλγαλα καὶ του̃ προσώπου του̃ κυρίου οὐκ ἐδεήθην καὶ ἐνεκρατευσάμην καὶ ἀνήνεγκα τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν (Ⅲ)

- dixi : Nunc descendent Philisthiim ad me in Galgala, et faciem Domini non placavi. Necessitate compulsus, obtuli holocaustum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃13 ואמר עתה ירדו פלשתים אלי הגלגל ופני יהוה לא חליתי ואתאפק ואעלה העלה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 13

And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

- Samuel dit à Saül: Tu as agi en insensé, tu n'as pas observé le commandement que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'avait donné. L'Éternel aurait affermi pour toujours ton règne sur Israël; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σαμουηλ πρὸς Σαουλ μεματαίωταί σοι ὅτι οὐκ ἐφύλαξας τὴν ἐντολήν μου ἣν ἐνετείλατό σοι κύριος ὡς νυ̃ν ἡτοίμασεν κύριος τὴν βασιλείαν σου ἕως αἰω̃νος ἐπὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Dixitque Samuel ad Saul : Stulte egisti, nec custodisti mandata Domini Dei tui quæ præcepit tibi. Quod si non fecisses, jam nunc præparasset Dominus regnum tuum super Israël in sempiternum : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃13 ויאמר שמואל אל שאול נסכלת לא שמרת את מצות יהוה אלהיך אשר צוך כי עתה הכין יהוה את ממלכתך אל ישראל עד עולם ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 14

But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.

- et maintenant ton règne ne durera point. L'Éternel s'est choisi un homme selon son coeur, et l'Éternel l'a destiné à être le chef de son peuple, parce que tu n'as pas observé ce que l'Éternel t'avait commandé. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ νυ̃ν ἡ βασιλεία σου οὐ στήσεται καὶ ζητήσει κύριος ἑαυτω̨̃ ἄνθρωπον κατὰ τὴν καρδίαν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐντελει̃ται κύριος αὐτω̨̃ εἰς ἄρχοντα ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ ὅτι οὐκ ἐφύλαξας ὅσα ἐνετείλατό σοι κύριος (Ⅲ)

- sed nequaquam regnum tuum ultra consurget. Quæsivit Dominus sibi virum juxta cor suum : et præcepit ei Dominus ut esset dux super populum suum, eo quod non servaveris quæ præcepit Dominus.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃13 ועתה ממלכתך לא תקום בקש יהוה לו איש כלבבו ויצוהו יהוה לנגיד על עמו כי לא שמרת את אשר צוך יהוה פ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 15

And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.

- Puis Samuel se leva, et monta de Guilgal à Guibea de Benjamin. Saül fit la revue du peuple qui se trouvait avec lui: il y avait environ six cents hommes. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀνέστη Σαμουηλ καὶ ἀπη̃λθεν ἐκ Γαλγαλων εἰς ὁδὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ τὸ κατάλειμμα του̃ λαου̃ ἀνέβη ὀπίσω Σαουλ εἰς ἀπάντησιν ὀπίσω του̃ λαου̃ του̃ πολεμιστου̃ αὐτω̃ν παραγενομένων ἐκ Γαλγαλων εἰς Γαβαα Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐπεσκέψατο Σαουλ τὸν λαὸν τὸν εὑρεθέντα μετ' αὐτου̃ ὡς ἑξακοσίους ἄνδρας (Ⅲ)

- Surrexit autem Samuel, et ascendit de Galgalis in Gabaa Benjamin. Et reliqui populi ascenderunt post Saul obviam populo, qui expugnabant eos venientes de Galgala in Gabaa, in colle Benjamin. Et recensuit Saul populum qui inventi fuerant cum eo, quasi sexcentos viros. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃13 ויקם שמואל ויעל מן הגלגל גבעת בנימן ויפקד שאול את העם הנמצאים עמו כשש מאות איש ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 16

And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people that were present with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

- Saül, son fils Jonathan, et le peuple qui se trouvait avec eux, avaient pris position à Guéba de Benjamin, et les Philistins campaient à Micmasch. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ Σαουλ καὶ Ιωναθαν υἱὸς αὐτου̃ καὶ ὁ λαὸς οἱ εὑρεθέντες μετ' αὐτω̃ν ἐκάθισαν ἐν Γαβεε Βενιαμιν καὶ ἔκλαιον καὶ οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι παρεμβεβλήκεισαν εἰς Μαχεμας (Ⅲ)

- Et Saul et Jonathas filius ejus, populusque qui inventus fuerat cum eis, erat in Gabaa Benjamin : porro Philisthiim consederant in Machmas. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃13 ושאול ויונתן בנו והעם הנמצא עמם ישבים בגבע בנימן ופלשתים חנו במכמש ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 17

And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual:

- Il sortit du camp des Philistins trois corps pour ravager: l'un prit le chemin d'Ophra, vers le pays de Schual; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν διαφθείρων ἐξ ἀγρου̃ ἀλλοφύλων τρισὶν ἀρχαι̃ς ἡ ἀρχὴ ἡ μία ἐπιβλέπουσα ὁδὸν Γοφερα ἐπὶ γη̃ν Σωγαλ (Ⅲ)

- Et egressi sunt ad prædandum de castris Philisthinorum tres cunei. Unus cuneus pergebat contra viam Ephra ad terram Sual : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃13 ויצא המשחית ממחנה פלשתים שלשה ראשים הראש אחד יפנה אל דרך עפרה אל ארץ שועל ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 18

And another company turned the way to Bethhoron: and another company turned to the way of the border that looketh to the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.

- l'autre prit le chemin de Beth Horon; et le troisième prit le chemin de la frontière qui regarde la vallée de Tseboïm, du côté du désert. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἡ μία ἀρχὴ ἐπιβλέπουσα ὁδὸν Βαιθωρων καὶ ἡ ἀρχὴ ἡ μία ἐπιβλέπουσα ὁδὸν Γαβεε τὴν εἰσκύπτουσαν ἐπὶ Γαι τὴν Σαβιν (Ⅲ)

- porro alius ingrediebatur per viam Beth-horon : tertius autem verterat se ad iter termini imminentis valli Seboim contra desertum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃13 והראש אחד יפנה דרך בית חרון והראש אחד יפנה דרך הגבול הנשקף על גי הצבעים המדברה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 19

Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:

- On ne trouvait point de forgeron dans tout le pays d'Israël; car les Philistins avaient dit: Empêchons les Hébreux de fabriquer des épées ou des lances. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τέκτων σιδήρου οὐχ εὑρίσκετο ἐν πάση̨ γη̨̃ Ισραηλ ὅτι εἰ̃πον οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι μὴ ποιήσωσιν οἱ Εβραι̃οι ῥομφαίαν καὶ δόρυ (Ⅲ)

- Porro faber ferrarius non inveniebatur in omni terra Israël : caverant enim Philisthiim, ne forte facerent Hebræi gladium aut lanceam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃13 וחרש לא ימצא בכל ארץ ישראל כי *אמר **אמרו פלשתים פן יעשו העברים חרב או חנית ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 20

But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock.

- Et chaque homme en Israël descendait chez les Philistins pour aiguiser son soc, son hoyau, sa hache et sa bêche, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κατέβαινον πα̃ς Ισραηλ εἰς γη̃ν ἀλλοφύλων χαλκεύειν ἕκαστος τὸ θέριστρον αὐτου̃ καὶ τὸ σκευ̃ος αὐτου̃ καὶ ἕκαστος τὴν ἀξίνην αὐτου̃ καὶ τὸ δρέπανον αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Descendebat ergo omnis Israël ad Philisthiim, ut exacueret unusquisque vomerem suum, et ligonem, et securim, et sarculum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃13 וירדו כל ישראל הפלשתים ללטוש איש את מחרשתו ואת אתו ואת קרדמו ואת מחרשתו ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 21

Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads.

- quand le tranchant des bêches, des hoyaux, des tridents et des haches, était émoussé, et pour redresser les aiguillons. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃ν ὁ τρυγητὸς ἕτοιμος του̃ θερίζειν τὰ δὲ σκεύη ἠ̃ν τρει̃ς σίκλοι εἰς τὸν ὀδόντα καὶ τη̨̃ ἀξίνη̨ καὶ τω̨̃ δρεπάνω̨ ὑπόστασις ἠ̃ν ἡ αὐτή (Ⅲ)

- Retusæ itaque erant acies vomerum, et ligonum, et tridentum, et securium, usque ad stimulum corrigendum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃13 והיתה הפצירה פים למחרשת ולאתים ולשלש קלשון ולהקרדמים ולהציב הדרבן ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 22

So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.

- Il arriva qu'au jour du combat il ne se trouvait ni épée ni lance entre les mains de tout le peuple qui était avec Saül et Jonathan; il ne s'en trouvait qu'auprès de Saül et de Jonathan, son fils. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις του̃ πολέμου Μαχεμας καὶ οὐχ εὑρέθη ῥομφαία καὶ δόρυ ἐν χειρὶ παντὸς του̃ λαου̃ του̃ μετὰ Σαουλ καὶ μετὰ Ιωναθαν καὶ εὑρέθη τω̨̃ Σαουλ καὶ τω̨̃ Ιωναθαν υἱω̨̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Cumque venisset dies prælii, non est inventus ensis et lancea in manu totius populi qui erat cum Saule et Jonatha, excepto Saul et Jonatha filio ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃13 והיה ביום מלחמת ולא נמצא חרב וחנית ביד כל העם אשר את שאול ואת יונתן ותמצא לשאול וליונתן בנו ‬ (Ⅴ)
