30. 1

And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;

- Lorsque David arriva le troisième jour à Tsiklag avec ses gens, les Amalécites avaient fait une invasion dans le midi et à Tsiklag. Ils avaient détruit et brûlé Tsiklag, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγενήθη εἰσελθόντος Δαυιδ καὶ τω̃ν ἀνδρω̃ν αὐτου̃ εἰς Σεκελακ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ τρίτη̨ καὶ Αμαληκ ἐπέθετο ἐπὶ τὸν νότον καὶ ἐπὶ Σεκελακ καὶ ἐπάταξεν τὴν Σεκελακ καὶ ἐνεπύρισεν αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί (Ⅲ)

- Cumque venissent David et viri ejus in Siceleg die tertia, Amalecitæ impetum fecerant ex parte australi in Siceleg, et percusserant Siceleg, et succenderant eam igni. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃30 ויהי בבא דוד ואנשיו צקלג ביום השלישי ועמלקי פשטו אל נגב ואל צקלג ויכו את צקלג וישרפו אתה באש ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 2

And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

- après avoir fait prisonniers les femmes et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient, petits et grands. Ils n'avaient tué personne, mais ils avaient tout emmené et s'étaient remis en route. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰς γυναι̃κας καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ἀπὸ μικρου̃ ἕως μεγάλου οὐκ ἐθανάτωσαν ἄνδρα καὶ γυναι̃κα ἀλλ' ἠ̨χμαλώτευσαν καὶ ἀπη̃λθον εἰς τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Et captivas duxerant mulieres ex ea, a minimo usque ad magnum : et non interfecerant quemquam, sed secum duxerant, et pergebant itinere suo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃30 וישבו את הנשים אשר בה מקטן ועד גדול לא המיתו איש וינהגו וילכו לדרכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 3

So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.

- David et ses gens arrivèrent à la ville, et voici, elle était brûlée; et leurs femmes, leurs fils et leurs filles, étaient emmenés captifs. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθεν Δαυιδ καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτου̃ εἰς τὴν πόλιν καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐμπεπύρισται ἐν πυρί αἱ δὲ γυναι̃κες αὐτω̃ν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτω̃ν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτω̃ν ἠ̨χμαλωτευμένοι (Ⅲ)

- Cum ergo venissent David et viri ejus ad civitatem, et invenissent eam succensam igni, et uxores suas, et filios suos et filias, ductas esse captivas, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃30 ויבא דוד ואנשיו אל העיר והנה שרופה באש ונשיהם ובניהם ובנתיהם נשבו ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 4

Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

- Alors David et le peuple qui était avec lui élevèrent la voix et pleurèrent jusqu'à ce qu'ils n'eussent plus la force de pleurer. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃ρεν Δαυιδ καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτου̃ τὴν φωνὴν αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔκλαυσαν ἕως ὅτου οὐκ ἠ̃ν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ἰσχὺς ἔτι κλαίειν (Ⅲ)

- levaverunt David et populus qui erat cum eo voces suas, et planxerunt donec deficerent in eis lacrimæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃30 וישא דוד והעם אשר אתו את קולם ויבכו עד אשר אין בהם כח לבכות ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 5

And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

- Les deux femmes de David avaient été emmenées, Achinoam de Jizreel, et Abigaïl de Carmel, femme de Nabal. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀμφότεραι αἱ γυναι̃κες Δαυιδ ἠ̨χμαλωτεύθησαν Αχινοομ ἡ Ιεζραηλι̃τις καὶ Αβιγαια ἡ γυνὴ Ναβαλ του̃ Καρμηλίου (Ⅲ)

- Siquidem et duæ uxores David captivæ ductæ fuerant, Achinoam Jezrahelites, et Abigail uxor Nabal Carmeli. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃30 ושתי נשי דוד נשבו אחינעם היזרעלית ואביגיל אשת נבל הכרמלי ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 6

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

- David fut dans une grande angoisse, car le peuple parlait de le lapider, parce que tous avaient de l'amertume dans l'âme, chacun à cause de ses fils et de ses filles. Mais David reprit courage en s'appuyant sur l'Éternel, son Dieu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐθλίβη Δαυιδ σφόδρα ὅτι εἰ̃πεν ὁ λαὸς λιθοβολη̃σαι αὐτόν ὅτι κατώδυνος ψυχὴ παντὸς του̃ λαου̃ ἑκάστου ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐκραταιώθη Δαυιδ ἐν κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et contristatus est David valde : volebat enim eum populus lapidare, quia amara erat anima uniuscujusque viri super filiis suis et filiabus : confortatus est autem David in Domino Deo suo.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃30 ותצר לדוד מאד כי אמרו העם לסקלו כי מרה נפש כל העם איש על *בנו **בניו ועל בנתיו ויתחזק דוד ביהוה אלהיו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 7

And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

- Il dit au sacrificateur Abiathar, fils d'Achimélec: Apporte-moi donc l'éphod! Abiathar apporta l'éphod à David. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν Δαυιδ πρὸς Αβιαθαρ τὸν ἱερέα υἱὸν Αχιμελεχ προσάγαγε τὸ εφουδ (Ⅲ)

- Et ait ad Abiathar sacerdotem filium Achimelech : Applica ad me ephod. Et applicavit Abiathar ephod ad David. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃30 ויאמר דוד אל אביתר הכהן בן אחימלך הגישה נא לי האפד ויגש אביתר את האפד אל דוד ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 8

And David inquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

- Et David consulta l'Éternel, en disant: Poursuivrai-je cette troupe? l'atteindrai-je? L'Éternel lui répondit: Poursuis, car tu atteindras, et tu délivreras. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν Δαυιδ διὰ του̃ κυρίου λέγων εἰ καταδιώξω ὀπίσω του̃ γεδδουρ τούτου εἰ καταλήμψομαι αὐτούς καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ καταδίωκε ὅτι καταλαμβάνων καταλήμψη̨ καὶ ἐξαιρούμενος ἐξελη̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et consuluit David Dominum, dicens : Persequar latrunculos hos, et comprehendam eos, an non ? Dixitque ei Dominus : Persequere : absque dubio enim comprehendes eos, et excuties prædam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃30 וישאל דוד ביהוה לאמר ארדף אחרי הגדוד הזה האשגנו ויאמר לו רדף כי השג תשיג והצל תציל ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 9

So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.

- Et David se mit en marche, lui et les six cents hommes qui étaient avec lui. Ils arrivèrent au torrent de Besor, où s'arrêtèrent ceux qui restaient en arrière. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπορεύθη Δαυιδ αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ ἑξακόσιοι ἄνδρες μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔρχονται ἕως του̃ χειμάρρου Βοσορ καὶ οἱ περισσοὶ ἔστησαν (Ⅲ)

- Abiit ergo David, ipse et sexcenti viri qui erant cum eo, et venerunt usque ad torrentem Besor : et lassi quidam substiterunt. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃30 וילך דוד הוא‪[c]‬ ושש מאות איש אשר אתו ויבאו עד נחל הבשור והנותרים עמדו ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 10

But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.

- David continua la poursuite avec quatre cents hommes; deux cents hommes s'arrêtèrent, trop fatigués pour passer le torrent de Besor. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κατεδίωξεν ἐν τετρακοσίοις ἀνδράσιν ὑπέστησαν δὲ διακόσιοι ἄνδρες οἵτινες ἐκάθισαν πέραν του̃ χειμάρρου του̃ Βοσορ (Ⅲ)

- Persecutus est autem David ipse, et quadringenti viri : substiterant enim ducenti, qui lassi transire non poterant torrentem Besor. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃30 וירדף דוד הוא וארבע מאות איש ויעמדו מאתים איש אשר פגרו מעבר את נחל הבשור ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 11

And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water;

- Ils trouvèrent dans les champs un homme égyptien, qu'ils conduisirent auprès de David. Ils lui firent manger du pain et boire de l'eau, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εὑρίσκουσιν ἄνδρα Αἰγύπτιον ἐν ἀγρω̨̃ καὶ λαμβάνουσιν αὐτὸν καὶ ἄγουσιν αὐτὸν πρὸς Δαυιδ ἐν ἀγρω̨̃ καὶ διδόασιν αὐτω̨̃ ἄρτον καὶ ἔφαγεν καὶ ἐπότισαν αὐτὸν ὕδωρ (Ⅲ)

- Et invenerunt virum ægyptium in agro, et adduxerunt eum ad David : dederuntque ei panem ut comederet, et biberet aquam, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃30 וימצאו איש מצרי בשדה ויקחו אתו אל דוד ויתנו לו לחם ויאכל וישקהו מים ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 12

And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights.

- et ils lui donnèrent un morceau d'une masse de figues sèches et deux masses de raisins secs. Après qu'il eut mangé, les forces lui revinrent, car il n'avait point pris de nourriture et point bu d'eau depuis trois jours et trois nuits. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ διδόασιν αὐτω̨̃ κλάσμα παλάθης καὶ ἔφαγεν καὶ κατέστη τὸ πνευ̃μα αὐτου̃ ἐν αὐτω̨̃ ὅτι οὐ βεβρώκει ἄρτον καὶ οὐ πεπώκει ὕδωρ τρει̃ς ἡμέρας καὶ τρει̃ς νύκτας (Ⅲ)

- sed et fragmen massæ caricarum, et duas ligaturas uvæ passæ. Quæ cum comedisset, reversus est spiritus ejus, et refocillatus est : non enim comederat panem, neque biberat aquam, tribus diebus et tribus noctibus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃30 ויתנו לו פלח דבלה ושני צמקים ויאכל ותשב רוחו אליו כי לא אכל לחם ולא שתה מים שלשה ימים ושלשה לילות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 13

And David said unto him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days agone I fell sick.

- David lui dit: A qui es-tu, et d'où es-tu? Il répondit: Je suis un garçon égyptien, au service d'un homme amalécite, et voilà trois jours que mon maître m'a abandonné parce que j'étais malade. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Δαυιδ τίνος σὺ εἰ̃ καὶ πόθεν εἰ̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν τὸ παιδάριον τὸ Αἰγύπτιον ἐγώ εἰμι δου̃λος ἀνδρὸς Αμαληκίτου καὶ κατέλιπέν με ὁ κύριός μου ὅτι ἠνωχλήθην ἐγὼ σήμερον τριται̃ος (Ⅲ)

- Dixit itaque ei David : Cujus es tu ? vel unde ? et quo pergis ? Qui ait : Puer ægyptius ego sum, servus viri Amalecitæ : dereliquit autem me dominus meus, quia ægrotare cœpi nudiustertius. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃30 ויאמר לו דוד למי אתה ואי מזה אתה ויאמר נער מצרי אנכי עבד לאיש עמלקי ויעזבני אדני כי חליתי היום שלשה ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 14

We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongeth to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.

- Nous avons fait une invasion dans le midi des Kéréthiens, sur le territoire de Juda et au midi de Caleb, et nous avons brûlé Tsiklag. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἡμει̃ς ἐπεθέμεθα ἐπὶ νότον του̃ Χολθι καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ τη̃ς Ιουδαίας μέρη καὶ ἐπὶ νότον Χελουβ καὶ τὴν Σεκελακ ἐνεπυρίσαμεν ἐν πυρί (Ⅲ)

- Siquidem nos erupimus ad australem plagam Cerethi, et contra Judam, et ad meridiem Caleb, et Siceleg succendimus igni. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃30 אנחנו פשטנו נגב הכרתי ועל אשר ליהודה ועל נגב כלב ואת צקלג שרפנו באש ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 15

And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring thee down to this company.

- David lui dit: Veux-tu me faire descendre vers cette troupe? Et il répondit: Jure-moi par le nom de Dieu que tu ne me tueras pas et que tu ne me livreras pas à mon maître, et je te ferai descendre vers cette troupe. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Δαυιδ εἰ κατάξεις με ἐπὶ τὸ γεδδουρ του̃το καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὄμοσον δή μοι κατὰ του̃ θεου̃ μὴ θανατώσειν με καὶ μὴ παραδου̃ναί με εἰς χει̃ρας του̃ κυρίου μου καὶ κατάξω σε ἐπὶ τὸ γεδδουρ του̃το (Ⅲ)

- Dixitque ei David : Potes me ducere ad cuneum istum ? Qui ait : Jura mihi per Deum quod non occidas me, et non tradas me in manus domini mei, et ego ducam te ad cuneum istum. Et juravit ei David. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃30 ויאמר אליו דוד התורדני אל הגדוד הזה ויאמר השבעה לי באלהים אם תמיתני ואם תסגרני ביד אדני ואורדך אל הגדוד הזה ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 16

And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.

- Il lui servit ainsi de guide. Et voici, les Amalécites étaient répandus sur toute la contrée, mangeant, buvant et dansant, à cause du grand butin qu'ils avaient enlevé du pays des Philistins et du pays de Juda. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κατήγαγεν αὐτὸν ἐκει̃ καὶ ἰδοὺ οὑ̃τοι διακεχυμένοι ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς ἐσθίοντες καὶ πίνοντες καὶ ἑορτάζοντες ἐν πα̃σι τοι̃ς σκύλοις τοι̃ς μεγάλοις οἱ̃ς ἔλαβον ἐκ γη̃ς ἀλλοφύλων καὶ ἐκ γη̃ς Ιουδα (Ⅲ)

- Qui cum duxisset eum, ecce illi discumbebant super faciem universæ terræ comedentes et bibentes, et quasi festum celebrantes diem, pro cuncta præda et spoliis quæ ceperant de terra Philisthiim et de terra Juda. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃30 וירדהו והנה נטשים על פני כל הארץ אכלים ושתים וחגגים בכל השלל הגדול אשר לקחו מארץ פלשתים ומארץ יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 17

And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.

- David les battit depuis l'aube du jour jusqu'au soir du lendemain, et aucun d'eux n'échappa, excepté quatre cents jeunes hommes qui montèrent sur des chameaux et s'enfuirent. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἐπ' αὐτοὺς Δαυιδ καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ ἑωσφόρου ἕως δείλης καὶ τη̨̃ ἐπαύριον καὶ οὐκ ἐσώθη ἐξ αὐτω̃ν ἀνὴρ ὅτι ἀλλ' ἢ τετρακόσια παιδάρια ἃ ἠ̃ν ἐπιβεβηκότα ἐπὶ τὰς καμήλους καὶ ἔφυγον (Ⅲ)

- Et percussit eos David a vespere usque ad vesperam alterius diei, et non evasit ex eis quisquam, nisi quadringenti viri adolescentes, qui ascenderant camelos et fugerant. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃30 ויכם דוד מהנשף ועד הערב למחרתם ולא נמלט מהם איש כי אם ארבע מאות איש נער אשר רכבו על הגמלים וינסו ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 18

And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.

- David sauva tout ce que les Amalécites avaient pris, et il délivra aussi ses deux femmes. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀφείλατο Δαυιδ πάντα ἃ ἔλαβον οἱ Αμαληκι̃ται καὶ ἀμφοτέρας τὰς γυναι̃κας αὐτου̃ ἐξείλατο (Ⅲ)

- Eruit ergo David omnia quæ tulerant Amalecitæ, et duas uxores suas eruit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃30 ויצל דוד את כל אשר לקחו עמלק ואת שתי נשיו הציל דוד ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 19

And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

- Il ne leur manqua personne, ni petit ni grand, ni fils ni fille, ni aucune chose du butin, ni rien de ce qu'on leur avait enlevé: David ramena tout. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐ διεφώνησεν αὐτοι̃ς ἀπὸ μικρου̃ ἕως μεγάλου καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν σκύλων καὶ ἕως υἱω̃ν καὶ θυγατέρων καὶ ἕως πάντων ὡ̃ν ἔλαβον αὐτω̃ν τὰ πάντα ἐπέστρεψεν Δαυιδ (Ⅲ)

- Nec defuit quidquam a parvo usque ad magnum, tam de filiis quam de filiabus, et de spoliis, et quæcumque rapuerant : omnia reduxit David. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃30 ולא נעדר להם מן הקטן ועד הגדול ועד בנים ובנות ומשלל ועד כל אשר לקחו להם הכל השיב דוד ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 20

And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drave before those other cattle, and said, This is David's spoil.

- Et David prit tout le menu et le gros bétail; et ceux qui conduisaient ce troupeau et marchaient à sa tête disaient: C'est ici le butin de David. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν Δαυιδ πάντα τὰ ποίμνια καὶ τὰ βουκόλια καὶ ἀπήγαγεν ἔμπροσθεν τω̃ν σκύλων καὶ τοι̃ς σκύλοις ἐκείνοις ἐλέγετο ταυ̃τα τὰ σκυ̃λα Δαυιδ (Ⅲ)

- Et tulit universos greges et armenta, et minavit ante faciem suam : dixeruntque : Hæc est præda David.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃30 ויקח דוד את כל הצאן והבקר נהגו לפני המקנה ההוא ויאמרו זה שלל דוד ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 21

And David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not follow David, whom they had made also to abide at the brook Besor: and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that were with him: and when David came near to the people, he saluted them.

- David arriva auprès des deux cents hommes qui avaient été trop fatigués pour le suivre, et qu'on avait laissés au torrent de Besor. Ils s'avancèrent à la rencontre de David et du peuple qui était avec lui. David s'approcha d'eux, et leur demanda comment ils se trouvaient. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ παραγίνεται Δαυιδ πρὸς τοὺς διακοσίους ἄνδρας τοὺς ἐκλυθέντας του̃ πορεύεσθαι ὀπίσω Δαυιδ καὶ ἐκάθισεν αὐτοὺς ἐν τω̨̃ χειμάρρω̨ τω̨̃ Βοσορ καὶ ἐξη̃λθον εἰς ἀπάντησιν Δαυιδ καὶ εἰς ἀπάντησιν του̃ λαου̃ του̃ μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ προσήγαγεν Δαυιδ ἕως του̃ λαου̃ καὶ ἠρώτησαν αὐτὸν τὰ εἰς εἰρήνην (Ⅲ)

- Venit autem David ad ducentos viros qui lassi substiterant, nec sequi potuerant David, et residere eos jusserat in torrente Besor : qui egressi sunt obviam David et populo qui erat cum eo. Accedens autem David ad populum, salutavit eos pacifice. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃30 ויבא דוד אל מאתים האנשים אשר פגרו מלכת אחרי דוד וישיבם בנחל הבשור ויצאו לקראת דוד ולקראת העם אשר אתו ויגש דוד את העם וישאל להם לשלום ס‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 22

Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart.

- Tous les hommes méchants et vils parmi les gens qui étaient allés avec David prirent la parole et dirent: Puisqu'ils ne sont pas venus avec nous, nous ne leur donnerons rien du butin que nous avons sauvé, sinon à chacun sa femme et ses enfants; qu'ils les emmènent, et s'en aillent. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπεκρίθη πα̃ς ἀνὴρ λοιμὸς καὶ πονηρὸς τω̃ν ἀνδρω̃ν τω̃ν πολεμιστω̃ν τω̃ν πορευθέντων μετὰ Δαυιδ καὶ εἰ̃παν ὅτι οὐ κατεδίωξαν μεθ' ἡμω̃ν οὐ δώσομεν αὐτοι̃ς ἐκ τω̃ν σκύλων ὡ̃ν ἐξειλάμεθα ὅτι ἀλλ' ἢ ἕκαστος τὴν γυναι̃κα αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτου̃ ἀπαγέσθωσαν καὶ ἀποστρεφέτωσαν (Ⅲ)

- Respondensque omnis vir pessimus et iniquus de viris qui ierant cum David, dixit : Quia non venerunt nobiscum, non dabimus eis quidquam de præda quam eruimus : sed sufficiat unicuique uxor sua et filii : quos cum acceperint, recedant. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃30 ויען כל איש רע ובליעל מהאנשים אשר הלכו עם דוד ויאמרו יען אשר לא הלכו עמי לא נתן להם מהשלל אשר הצלנו כי אם איש את אשתו ואת בניו וינהגו וילכו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 23

Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.

- Mais David dit: N'agissez pas ainsi, mes frères, au sujet de ce que l'Éternel nous a donné; car il nous a gardés, et il a livré entre nos mains la troupe qui était venue contre nous. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν Δαυιδ οὐ ποιήσετε οὕτως μετὰ τὸ παραδου̃ναι τὸν κύριον ἡμι̃ν καὶ φυλάξαι ἡμα̃ς καὶ παρέδωκεν κύριος τὸν γεδδουρ τὸν ἐπερχόμενον ἐφ' ἡμα̃ς εἰς χει̃ρας ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Dixit autem David : Non sic facietis, fratres mei, de his quæ tradidit nobis Dominus, et custodivit nos, et dedit latrunculos qui eruperant adversum nos, in manus nostras : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃30 ויאמר דוד לא תעשו כן אחי את אשר נתן יהוה לנו וישמר אתנו ויתן את הגדוד הבא עלינו בידנו ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 24

For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.

- Et qui vous écouterait dans cette affaire? La part doit être la même pour celui qui est descendu sur le champ de bataille et pour celui qui est resté près des bagages: ensemble ils partageront. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τίς ὑπακούσεται ὑμω̃ν τω̃ν λόγων τούτων ὅτι οὐχ ἡ̃ττον ὑμω̃ν εἰσιν διότι κατὰ τὴν μερίδα του̃ καταβαίνοντος εἰς πόλεμον οὕτως ἔσται ἡ μερὶς του̃ καθημένου ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη κατὰ τὸ αὐτὸ μεριου̃νται (Ⅲ)

- nec audiet vos quisquam super sermone hoc : æqua enim pars erit descendentis ad prælium, et remanentis ad sarcinas, et similiter divident. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃30 ומי ישמע לכם לדבר הזה כי כחלק הירד במלחמה וכחלק הישב על הכלים יחדו יחלקו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 25

And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel unto this day.

- Il en fut ainsi dès ce jour et dans la suite, et l'on a fait de cela jusqu'à ce jour une loi et une coutume en Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγενήθη ἀπὸ τη̃ς ἡμέρας ἐκείνης καὶ ἐπάνω καὶ ἐγένετο εἰς πρόσταγμα καὶ εἰς δικαίωμα τω̨̃ Ισραηλ ἕως τη̃ς σήμερον (Ⅲ)

- Et factum est hoc ex die illa et deinceps, constitutum et præfinitum, et quasi lex in Israël usque in diem hanc. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃30 ויהי מהיום ההוא ומעלה וישמה לחק ולמשפט לישראל עד היום הזה פ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 26

And when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD;

- De retour à Tsiklag, David envoya une partie du butin aux anciens de Juda, à ses amis, en leur adressant ces paroles: Voici pour vous un présent sur le butin des ennemis de l'Éternel! (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθεν Δαυιδ εἰς Σεκελακ καὶ ἀπέστειλεν τοι̃ς πρεσβυτέροις Ιουδα τω̃ν σκύλων καὶ τοι̃ς πλησίον αὐτου̃ λέγων ἰδοὺ ἀπὸ τω̃ν σκύλων τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- Venit ergo David in Siceleg, et misit dona de præda senioribus Juda proximis suis, dicens : Accipite benedictionem de præda hostium Domini : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃30 ויבא דוד אל צקלג וישלח מהשלל לזקני יהודה לרעהו לאמר הנה לכם ברכה משלל איבי יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 27

To them which were in Bethel, and to them which were in south Ramoth, and to them which were in Jattir,

- Il fit ainsi des envois à ceux de Béthel, à ceux de Ramoth du midi, à ceux de Jatthir, (Ⅱ)

- τοι̃ς ἐν Βαιθσουρ καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Ραμα νότου καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Ιεθθορ (Ⅲ)

- his qui erant in Bethel, et qui in Ramoth ad meridiem, et qui in Jether, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃30 לאשר בבית אל ולאשר ברמות נגב ולאשר ביתר ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 28

And to them which were in Aroer, and to them which were in Siphmoth, and to them which were in Eshtemoa,

- à ceux d'Aroër, à ceux de Siphmoth, à ceux d'Eschthemoa, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Αροηρ καὶ τοι̃ς Αμμαδι καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Σαφι καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Εσθιε (Ⅲ)

- et qui in Aroër, et qui in Sephamoth, et qui in Esthamo, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃30 ולאשר בערער ולאשר בשפמות ולאשר באשתמע ס‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 29

And to them which were in Rachal, and to them which were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, and to them which were in the cities of the Kenites,

- à ceux de Racal, à ceux des villes des Jerachmeélites, à ceux des villes des Kéniens, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Καρμήλω̨ καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσιν του̃ Ιεραμηλι καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσιν του̃ Κενεζι (Ⅲ)

- et qui in Rachal, et qui in urbibus Jerameel, et qui in urbibus Ceni, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃30 ולאשר ברכל ולאשר בערי הירחמאלי ולאשר בערי הקיני ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 30

And to them which were in Hormah, and to them which were in Chorashan, and to them which were in Athach,

- à ceux de Horma, à ceux de Cor Aschan, à ceux d'Athac, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Ιεριμουθ καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Βηρσαβεε καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Νοο (Ⅲ)

- et qui in Arama, et qui in lacu Asan, et qui in Athach, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃30 ולאשר בחרמה ולאשר בבור עשן ולאשר בעתך ‬ (Ⅴ)

30. 31

And to them which were in Hebron, and to all the places where David himself and his men were wont to haunt.

- à ceux d'Hébron, et dans tous les lieux que David et ses gens avaient parcourus. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν Χεβρων καὶ εἰς πάντας τοὺς τόπους οὓς διη̃λθεν Δαυιδ ἐκει̃ αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- et qui in Hebron, et reliquis qui erant in his locis in quibus commoratus fuerat David, ipse et viri ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 31 ׃30 ולאשר בחברון ולכל המקמות אשר התהלך שם דוד הוא ואנשיו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
