David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.
- David partit de là, et se sauva dans la caverne d'Adullam. Ses frères et toute la maison de son père l'apprirent, et ils descendirent vers lui. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπη̃λθεν ἐκει̃θεν Δαυιδ καὶ διεσώθη καὶ ἔρχεται εἰς τὸ σπήλαιον τὸ Οδολλαμ καὶ ἀκούουσιν οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτου̃ καὶ ὁ οἰ̃κος του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ καὶ καταβαίνουσιν πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ) - Abiit ergo David inde, et fugit in speluncam Odollam. Quod cum audissent fratres ejus, et omnis domus patris ejus, descenderunt ad eum illuc. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃22 וילך דוד משם וימלט אל מערת עדלם וישמעו אחיו וכל בית אביו וירדו אליו שמה (Ⅴ)

And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.
- Tous ceux qui se trouvaient dans la détresse, qui avaient des créanciers, ou qui étaient mécontents, se rassemblèrent auprès de lui, et il devint leur chef. Ainsi se joignirent à lui environ quatre cents hommes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ συνήγοντο πρὸς αὐτὸν πα̃ς ἐν ἀνάγκη̨ καὶ πα̃ς ὑπόχρεως καὶ πα̃ς κατώδυνος ψυχη̨̃ καὶ ἠ̃ν ἐπ' αὐτω̃ν ἡγούμενος καὶ ἠ̃σαν μετ' αὐτου̃ ὡς τετρακόσιοι ἄνδρες (Ⅲ) - Et convenerunt ad eum omnes qui erant in angustia constituti, et oppressi ære alieno, et amaro animo : et factus est eorum princeps, fueruntque cum eo quasi quadringenti viri. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃22 ויתקבצו אליו כל איש מצוק וכל איש אשר לו נשא וכל איש מר נפש ויהי עליהם לשר ויהיו עמו כארבע מאות איש (Ⅴ)

And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.
- De là David s'en alla à Mitspé dans le pays de Moab. Il dit au roi de Moab: Permets, je te prie, à mon père et à ma mère de se retirer chez vous, jusqu'à ce que je sache ce que Dieu fera de moi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπη̃λθεν Δαυιδ ἐκει̃θεν εἰς Μασσηφα τη̃ς Μωαβ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς βασιλέα Μωαβ γινέσθωσαν δὴ ὁ πατήρ μου καὶ ἡ μήτηρ μου παρὰ σοί ἕως ὅτου γνω̃ τί ποιήσει μοι ὁ θεός (Ⅲ) - Et profectus est David inde in Maspha, quæ est Moab : et dixit ad regem Moab : Maneat, oro, pater meus et mater mea vobiscum, donec sciam quid faciat mihi Deus. And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.
- Et il les conduisit devant le roi de Moab, et ils demeurèrent avec lui tout le temps que David fut dans la forteresse. (Ⅱ) - καὶ παρεκάλεσεν τὸ πρόσωπον του̃ βασιλέως Μωαβ καὶ κατώ̨κουν μετ' αὐτου̃ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ὄντος του̃ Δαυιδ ἐν τη̨̃ περιοχη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Et reliquit eos ante faciem regis Moab : manseruntque apud eum cunctis diebus quibus David fuit in præsidio. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃22 וינחם את פני מלך מואב וישבו עמו כל ימי היות דוד במצודה ס (Ⅴ)

And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.
- Le prophète Gad dit à David: Ne reste pas dans la forteresse, va-t'en, et entre dans le pays de Juda. Et David s'en alla, et parvint à la forêt de Héreth. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Γαδ ὁ προφήτης πρὸς Δαυιδ μὴ κάθου ἐν τη̨̃ περιοχη̨̃ πορεύου καὶ ἥξεις εἰς γη̃ν Ιουδα καὶ ἐπορεύθη Δαυιδ καὶ ἠ̃λθεν καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐν πόλει Σαριχ (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Gad propheta ad David : Noli manere in præsidio : proficiscere, et vade in terram Juda. When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)
- Saül apprit que l'on avait des renseignements sur David et sur ses gens. Saül était assis sous le tamarisc, à Guibea, sur la hauteur; il avait sa lance à la main, et tous ses serviteurs se tenaient près de lui. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἤκουσεν Σαουλ ὅτι ἔγνωσται Δαυιδ καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ Σαουλ ἐκάθητο ἐν τω̨̃ βουνω̨̃ ὑπὸ τὴν ἄρουραν τὴν ἐν Ραμα καὶ τὸ δόρυ ἐν τη̨̃ χειρὶ αὐτου̃ καὶ πάντες οἱ παι̃δες αὐτου̃ παρειστήκεισαν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Et audivit Saul quod apparuisset David, et viri qui erant cum eo. Saul autem cum maneret in Gabaa, et esset in nemore quod est in Rama, hastam manu tenens, cunctique servi ejus circumstarent eum, (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃22 וישמע שאול כי נודע דוד ואנשים אשר אתו ושאול יושב בגבעה תחת האשל ברמה וחניתו בידו וכל עבדיו נצבים עליו (Ⅴ)

Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;
- Et Saül dit à ses serviteurs qui se tenaient près de lui: Écoutez, Benjamites! Le fils d'Isaï vous donnera-t-il à tous des champs et des vignes? Fera-t-il de vous tous des chefs de mille et des chefs de cent? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σαουλ πρὸς τοὺς παι̃δας αὐτου̃ τοὺς παρεστηκότας αὐτω̨̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς ἀκούσατε δή υἱοὶ Βενιαμιν εἰ ἀληθω̃ς πα̃σιν ὑμι̃ν δώσει ὁ υἱὸς Ιεσσαι ἀγροὺς καὶ ἀμπελω̃νας καὶ πάντας ὑμα̃ς τάξει ἑκατοντάρχους καὶ χιλιάρχους (Ⅲ) - ait ad servos suos qui assistebant ei : Audite nunc, filii Jemini : numquid omnibus vobis dabit filius Isai agros et vineas, et universos vos faciet tribunos et centuriones ? (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃22 ויאמר שאול לעבדיו הנצבים עליו שמעו נא בני ימיני גם לכלכם יתן בן ישי שדות וכרמים לכלכם ישים שרי אלפים ושרי מאות (Ⅴ)

That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that showeth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or showeth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
- Sinon, pourquoi avez-vous tous conspiré contre moi, et n'y a-t-il personne qui m'informe de l'alliance de mon fils avec le fils d'Isaï? Pourquoi n'y a-t-il personne de vous qui souffre à mon sujet, et qui m'avertisse que mon fils a soulevé mon serviteur contre moi, afin qu'il me dressât des embûches, comme il le fait aujourd'hui? (Ⅱ) - ὅτι σύγκεισθε πάντες ὑμει̃ς ἐπ' ἐμέ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ἀποκαλύπτων τὸ ὠτίον μου ἐν τω̨̃ διαθέσθαι τὸν υἱόν μου διαθήκην μετὰ του̃ υἱου̃ Ιεσσαι καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν πονω̃ν περὶ ἐμου̃ ἐξ ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἀποκαλύπτων τὸ ὠτίον μου ὅτι ἐπήγειρεν ὁ υἱός μου τὸν δου̃λόν μου ἐπ' ἐμὲ εἰς ἐχθρὸν ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη (Ⅲ) - quoniam conjurastis omnes adversum me, et non est qui mihi renuntiet, maxime cum et filius meus fœdus inierit cum filio Isai. Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.
- Doëg, l'Édomite, qui se trouvait aussi parmi les serviteurs de Saül, répondit: J'ai vu le fils d'Isaï venir à Nob, auprès d'Achimélec, fils d'Achithub. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀποκρίνεται Δωηκ ὁ Σύρος ὁ καθεστηκὼς ἐπὶ τὰς ἡμιόνους Σαουλ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἑόρακα τὸν υἱὸν Ιεσσαι παραγινόμενον εἰς Νομβα πρὸς Αβιμελεχ υἱὸν Αχιτωβ τὸν ἱερέα (Ⅲ) - Respondens autem Doëg Idumæus, qui assistebat, et erat primus inter servos Saul : Vidi, inquit, filium Isai in Nobe apud Achimelech filium Achitob sacerdotem. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃22 ויען דאג האדמי והוא נצב על עבדי שאול ויאמר ראיתי את בן ישי בא נבה אל אחימלך בן אחטוב (Ⅴ)

And he inquired of the LORD for him, and gave him victuals, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.
- Achimélec a consulté pour lui l'Éternel, il lui a donné des vivres et lui a remis l'épée de Goliath, le Philistin. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἠρώτα αὐτω̨̃ διὰ του̃ θεου̃ καὶ ἐπισιτισμὸν ἔδωκεν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ τὴν ῥομφαίαν Γολιαδ του̃ ἀλλοφύλου ἔδωκεν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Qui consuluit pro eo Dominum, et cibaria dedit ei : sed et gladium Goliath Philisthæi dedit illi. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃22 וישאל לו ביהוה וצידה נתן לו ואת חרב גלית הפלשתי נתן לו (Ⅴ)

Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father's house, the priests that were in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.
- Le roi envoya chercher Achimélec, fils d'Achithub, le sacrificateur, et toute la maison de son père, les sacrificateurs qui étaient à Nob. Ils se rendirent tous vers le roi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ὁ βασιλεὺς καλέσαι τὸν Αβιμελεχ υἱὸν Αχιτωβ καὶ πάντας τοὺς υἱοὺς του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ τοὺς ἱερει̃ς τοὺς ἐν Νομβα καὶ παρεγένοντο πάντες πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα (Ⅲ) - Misit ergo rex ad accersendum Achimelech sacerdotem filium Achitob, et omnem domum patris ejus, sacerdotum qui erant in Nobe, qui universi venerunt ad regem. And Saul said, Hear now, thou son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.
- Saül dit: Écoute, fils d'Achithub! Il répondit: Me voici, mon seigneur! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Σαουλ ἄκουε δή υἱὲ Αχιτωβ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἰδοὺ ἐγώ λάλει κύριε (Ⅲ) - Et ait Saul ad Achimelech : Audi, fili Achitob. Qui respondit : Præsto sum, domine. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃22 ויאמר שאול שמע נא בן אחיטוב ויאמר הנני אדני (Ⅴ)

And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
- Saül lui dit: Pourquoi avez-vous conspiré contre moi, toi et le fils d'Isaï? Pourquoi lui as-tu donné du pain et une épée, et as-tu consulté Dieu pour lui, afin qu'il s'élevât contre moi et me dressât des embûches, comme il le fait aujourd'hui? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Σαουλ ἵνα τί συνέθου κατ' ἐμου̃ σὺ καὶ ὁ υἱὸς Ιεσσαι δου̃ναί σε αὐτω̨̃ ἄρτον καὶ ῥομφαίαν καὶ ἐρωτα̃ν αὐτω̨̃ διὰ του̃ θεου̃ θέσθαι αὐτὸν ἐπ' ἐμὲ εἰς ἐχθρὸν ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη (Ⅲ) - Dixitque ad eum Saul : Quare conjurastis adversum me, tu et filius Isai, et dedisti ei panes et gladium, et consuluisti pro eo Deum, ut consurgeret adversum me, insidiator usque hodie permanens ? (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃22 ויאמר *אלו **אליו שאול למה קשרתם עלי אתה ובן ישי בתתך[c] לו לחם וחרב ושאול לו באלהים לקום אלי לארב כיום הזה ס (Ⅴ)

Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king's son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honorable in thine house?
- Achimélec répondit au roi: Lequel d'entre tous tes serviteurs peut être comparé au fidèle David, gendre du roi, dévoué à ses ordres, et honoré dans ta maison? (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπεκρίθη τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν καὶ τίς ἐν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς δούλοις σου ὡς Δαυιδ πιστὸς καὶ γαμβρὸς του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἄρχων παντὸς παραγγέλματός σου καὶ ἔνδοξος ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ σου (Ⅲ) - Respondensque Achimelech regi, ait : Et quis in omnibus servis tuis sicut David, fidelis, et gener regis, et pergens ad imperium tuum, et gloriosus in domo tua ? (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃22 ויען אחימלך את המלך ויאמר ומי בכל עבדיך כדוד נאמן וחתן המלך וסר אל משמעתך ונכבד בביתך (Ⅴ)

Did I then begin to inquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.
- Est-ce aujourd'hui que j'ai commencé à consulter Dieu pour lui? Loin de moi! Que le roi ne mette rien à la charge de son serviteur ni de personne de la maison de mon père, car ton serviteur ne connaît de tout ceci aucune chose, petite ou grande. (Ⅱ) - ἠ̃ σήμερον ἠ̃ργμαι ἐρωτα̃ν αὐτω̨̃ διὰ του̃ θεου̃ μηδαμω̃ς μὴ δότω ὁ βασιλεὺς κατὰ του̃ δούλου αὐτου̃ λόγον καὶ ἐφ' ὅλον τὸν οἰ̃κον του̃ πατρός μου ὅτι οὐκ ἤ̨δει ὁ δου̃λος ὁ σὸς ἐν πα̃σιν τούτοις ῥη̃μα μικρὸν ἢ μέγα (Ⅲ) - num hodie cœpi pro eo consulere Deum ? absit hoc a me : ne suspicetur rex adversus servum suum rem hujuscemodi, in universa domo patris mei : non enim scivit servus tuus quidquam super hoc negotio, vel modicum vel grande. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃22 היום החלתי *לשאול **לשאל לו באלהים חלילה לי אל ישם המלך בעבדו דבר בכל בית אבי כי לא ידע עבדך בכל זאת דבר קטן או גדול (Ⅴ)

And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father's house.
- Le roi dit: Tu mourras, Achimélec, toi et toute la maison de ton père. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Σαουλ θανάτω̨ ἀποθανη̨̃ Αβιμελεχ σὺ καὶ πα̃ς ὁ οἰ̃κος του̃ πατρός σου (Ⅲ) - Dixitque rex : Morte morieris Achimelech, tu et omnis domus patris tui. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃22 ויאמר המלך מות תמות אחימלך אתה וכל בית אביך (Ⅴ)

And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD: because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not show it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
- Et le roi dit aux coureurs qui se tenaient près de lui: Tournez-vous, et mettez à mort les sacrificateurs de l'Éternel; car ils sont d'accord avec David, ils ont bien su qu'il s'enfuyait, et ils ne m'ont point averti. Mais les serviteurs du roi ne voulurent pas avancer la main pour frapper les sacrificateurs de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ βασιλεὺς τοι̃ς παρατρέχουσιν τοι̃ς ἐφεστηκόσιν ἐπ' αὐτόν προσαγάγετε καὶ θανατου̃τε τοὺς ἱερει̃ς του̃ κυρίου ὅτι ἡ χεὶρ αὐτω̃ν μετὰ Δαυιδ καὶ ὅτι ἔγνωσαν ὅτι φεύγει αὐτός καὶ οὐκ ἀπεκάλυψαν τὸ ὠτίον μου καὶ οὐκ ἐβουλήθησαν οἱ παι̃δες του̃ βασιλέως ἐπενεγκει̃ν τὰς χει̃ρας αὐτω̃ν ἀπαντη̃σαι εἰς τοὺς ἱερει̃ς κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Et ait rex emissariis qui circumstabant eum : Convertimini, et interficite sacerdotes Domini, nam manus eorum cum David est : scientes quod fugisset, et non indicaverunt mihi. Noluerunt autem servi regis extendere manus suas in sacerdotes Domini. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃22 ויאמר המלך לרצים הנצבים עליו סבו והמיתו כהני יהוה כי גם ידם עם דוד וכי ידעו כי ברח הוא ולא גלו את *אזנו **אזני ולא אבו עבדי המלך לשלח את ידם לפגע בכהני יהוה ס (Ⅴ)

And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.
- Alors le roi dit à Doëg: Tourne-toi, et frappe les sacrificateurs. Et Doëg, l'Édomite, se tourna, et ce fut lui qui frappa les sacrificateurs; il fit mourir en ce jour quatre-vingt-cinq hommes portant l'éphod de lin. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ βασιλεὺς τω̨̃ Δωηκ ἐπιστρέφου σὺ καὶ ἀπάντα εἰς τοὺς ἱερει̃ς καὶ ἐπεστράφη Δωηκ ὁ Σύρος καὶ ἐθανάτωσεν τοὺς ἱερει̃ς κυρίου ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ τριακοσίους καὶ πέντε ἄνδρας πάντας αἴροντας εφουδ (Ⅲ) - Et ait rex ad Doëg : Convertere tu, et irrue in sacerdotes. Conversusque Doëg Idumæus, irruit in sacerdotes, et trucidavit in die illa octoginta quinque viros vestitos ephod lineo. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃22 ויאמר המלך *לדויג **לדואג סב אתה ופגע בכהנים ויסב *דויג **דואג האדמי ויפגע הוא בכהנים וימת ביום ההוא שמנים וחמשה איש נשא אפוד בד (Ⅴ)

And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.
- Saül frappa encore du tranchant de l'épée Nob, ville sacerdotale; hommes et femmes, enfants et nourrissons, boeufs, ânes, et brebis, tombèrent sous le tranchant de l'épée. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὴν Νομβα τὴν πόλιν τω̃ν ἱερέων ἐπάταξεν ἐν στόματι ῥομφαίας ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς ἕως γυναικός ἀπὸ νηπίου ἕως θηλάζοντος καὶ μόσχου καὶ ὄνου καὶ προβάτου (Ⅲ) - Nobe autem civitatem sacerdotum percussit in ore gladii, viros et mulieres, et parvulos et lactentes, bovemque, et asinum, et ovem in ore gladii. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃22 ואת נב עיר הכהנים הכה לפי חרב מאיש ועד אשה מעולל ועד יונק ושור וחמור ושה לפי חרב (Ⅴ)

And one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.
- Un fils d'Achimélec, fils d'Achithub, échappa. Son nom était Abiathar. Il s'enfuit auprès de David, (Ⅱ) - καὶ διασώ̨ζεται υἱὸς εἱ̃ς τω̨̃ Αβιμελεχ υἱω̨̃ Αχιτωβ καὶ ὄνομα αὐτω̨̃ Αβιαθαρ καὶ ἔφυγεν ὀπίσω Δαυιδ (Ⅲ) - Evadens autem unus filius Achimelech filii Achitob, cujus nomen erat Abiathar, fugit ad David, (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃22 וימלט בן אחד לאחימלך בן אחטוב ושמו אביתר ויברח אחרי דוד (Ⅴ)

And Abiathar showed David that Saul had slain the LORD's priests.
- et lui rapporta que Saül avait tué les sacrificateurs de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπήγγειλεν Αβιαθαρ τω̨̃ Δαυιδ ὅτι ἐθανάτωσεν Σαουλ πάντας τοὺς ἱερει̃ς του̃ κυρίου (Ⅲ) - et annuntiavit ei quod occidisset Saul sacerdotes Domini. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃22 ויגד אביתר לדוד כי הרג שאול את כהני יהוה (Ⅴ)

And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father's house.
- David dit à Abiathar: J'ai bien pensé ce jour même que Doëg, l'Édomite, se trouvant là, ne manquerait pas d'informer Saül. C'est moi qui suis cause de la mort de toutes les personnes de la maison de ton père. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Δαυιδ τω̨̃ Αβιαθαρ ἤιδειν ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ὅτι Δωηκ ὁ Σύρος ὅτι ἀπαγγέλλων ἀπαγγελει̃ τω̨̃ Σαουλ ἐγώ εἰμι αἴτιος τω̃ν ψυχω̃ν οἴκου του̃ πατρός σου (Ⅲ) - Et ait David ad Abiathar : Sciebam in die illa quod cum ibi esset Doëg Idumæus, procul dubio annuntiaret Sauli : ego sum reus omnium animarum patris tui. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃22 ויאמר דוד לאביתר ידעתי ביום ההוא כי שם *דויג **דואג האדמי כי הגד יגיד לשאול אנכי סבתי בכל נפש בית אביך (Ⅴ)

Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in safeguard.
- Reste avec moi, ne crains rien, car celui qui cherche ma vie cherche la tienne; près de moi tu seras bien gardé. (Ⅱ) - κάθου μετ' ἐμου̃ μὴ φοβου̃ ὅτι οὑ̃ ἐὰν ζητω̃ τη̨̃ ψυχη̨̃ μου τόπον ζητήσω καὶ τη̨̃ ψυχη̨̃ σου ὅτι πεφύλαξαι σὺ παρ' ἐμοί (Ⅲ) - Mane mecum : ne timeas : si quis quæsierit animam meam, quæret et animam tuam, mecumque servaberis. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃22 שבה אתי אל תירא כי אשר יבקש את נפשי יבקש את נפשך כי משמרת אתה עמדי (Ⅴ)
