In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
- En ce jour, l'Éternel frappera de sa dure, grande et forte épée Le léviathan, serpent fuyard, Le léviathan, serpent tortueux; Et il tuera le monstre qui est dans la mer. (Ⅱ) - τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ἐπάξει ὁ θεὸς τὴν μάχαιραν τὴν ἁγίαν καὶ τὴν μεγάλην καὶ τὴν ἰσχυρὰν ἐπὶ τὸν δράκοντα ὄφιν φεύγοντα ἐπὶ τὸν δράκοντα ὄφιν σκολιὸν καὶ ἀνελει̃ τὸν δράκοντα (Ⅲ) - In die illa visitabit Dominus/ in gladio suo duro, et grandi, et forti,/ super Leviathan, serpentem vectem,/ et super Leviathan, serpentem tortuosum,/ et occidet cetum qui in mari est./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃27 ביום ההוא יפקד יהוה בחרבו[1] הקשה והגדולה והחזקה על לויתן נחש ברח ועל לויתן נחש עקלתון והרג את התנין אשר בים ס (Ⅴ)

In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.
- En ce jour-là, Chantez un cantique sur la vigne. (Ⅱ) - τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ ἀμπελὼν καλός ἐπιθύμημα ἐξάρχειν κατ' αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - In die illa vinea meri cantabit ei./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃27 ביום ההוא כרם חמד ענו לה (Ⅴ)

I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
- Moi l'Éternel, j'en suis le gardien, Je l'arrose à chaque instant; De peur qu'on ne l'attaque, Nuit et jour je la garde. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ πόλις ἰσχυρά πόλις πολιορκουμένη μάτην ποτιω̃ αὐτήν ἁλώσεται γὰρ νυκτός ἡμέρας δὲ πεσει̃ται τὸ τει̃χος (Ⅲ) - Ego Dominus qui servo eam ;/ repente propinabo ei./ Ne forte visitetur contra eam,/ nocte et die servo eam./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃27 אני יהוה נצרה לרגעים אשקנה פן יפקד עליה לילה ויום אצרנה (Ⅴ)

Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
- Il n'y a point en moi de colère; Mais si je trouve à combattre des ronces et des épines, Je marcherai contre elles, je les consumerai toutes ensemble, (Ⅱ) - οὐκ ἔστιν ἣ οὐκ ἐπελάβετο αὐτη̃ς τίς με θήσει φυλάσσειν καλάμην ἐν ἀγρω̨̃ διὰ τὴν πολεμίαν ταύτην ἠθέτηκα αὐτήν τοίνυν διὰ του̃το ἐποίησεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς πάντα ὅσα συνέταξεν κατακέκαυμαι (Ⅲ) - Indignatio non est mihi./ Quis dabit me spinam et veprem in prælio ?/ gradiar super eam,/ succendam eam pariter./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃27 חמה אין לי מי יתנני שמיר שית במלחמה אפשעה בה אציתנה יחד (Ⅴ)

Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
- A moins qu'on ne me prenne pour refuge, Qu'on ne fasse la paix avec moi, qu'on ne fasse la paix avec moi. (Ⅱ) - βοήσονται οἱ ἐνοικου̃ντες ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ποιήσωμεν εἰρήνην αὐτω̨̃ ποιήσωμεν εἰρήνην (Ⅲ) - An potius tenebit fortitudinem meam ?/ faciet pacem mihi,/ pacem faciet mihi./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃27 או יחזק במעוזי יעשה שלום לי שלום יעשה לי (Ⅴ)

He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
- Dans les temps à venir, Jacob prendra racine, Israël poussera des fleurs et des rejetons, Et il remplira le monde de ses fruits. (Ⅱ) - οἱ ἐρχόμενοι τέκνα Ιακωβ βλαστήσει καὶ ἐξανθήσει Ισραηλ καὶ ἐμπλησθήσεται ἡ οἰκουμένη του̃ καρπου̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Qui ingrediuntur impetu ad Jacob,/ florebit et germinabit Israël,/ et implebunt faciem orbis semine./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃27 הבאים ישרש יעקב יציץ ופרח ישראל ומלאו פני תבל תנובה ס (Ⅴ)

Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?
- L'Éternel l'a-t-il frappé comme il a frappé ceux qui le frappaient? L'a-t-il tué comme il a tué ceux qui le tuaient? (Ⅱ) - μὴ ὡς αὐτὸς ἐπάταξεν καὶ αὐτὸς οὕτως πληγήσεται καὶ ὡς αὐτὸς ἀνει̃λεν οὕτως ἀναιρεθήσεται (Ⅲ) - Numquid juxta plagam percutientis se percussit eum ?/ aut sicut occidit interfectos ejus, sic occisus est ?/ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃27 הכמכת מכהו הכהו אם כהרג הרגיו הרג (Ⅴ)

In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
- C'est avec mesure que tu l'as châtié par l'exil, En l'emportant par le souffle impétueux du vent d'orient. (Ⅱ) - μαχόμενος καὶ ὀνειδίζων ἐξαποστελει̃ αὐτούς οὐ σὺ ἠ̃σθα ὁ μελετω̃ν τω̨̃ πνεύματι τω̨̃ σκληρω̨̃ ἀνελει̃ν αὐτοὺς πνεύματι θυμου̃ (Ⅲ) - In mensura contra mensuram,/ cum abjecta fuerit, judicabis eam ;/ meditatus est in spiritu suo duro/ per diem æstus./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃27 בסאסאה[p] בשלחה תריבנה הגה ברוחו הקשה ביום קדים (Ⅴ)

By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
- Ainsi le crime de Jacob a été expié, Et voici le fruit du pardon de son péché: L'Éternel a rendu toutes les pierres des autels Pareilles à des pierres de chaux réduites en poussière; Les idoles d'Astarté et les statues du soleil ne se relèveront plus. (Ⅱ) - διὰ του̃το ἀφαιρεθήσεται ἡ ἀνομία Ιακωβ καὶ του̃τό ἐστιν ἡ εὐλογία αὐτου̃ ὅταν ἀφέλωμαι αὐτου̃ τὴν ἁμαρτίαν ὅταν θω̃σιν πάντας τοὺς λίθους τω̃ν βωμω̃ν κατακεκομμένους ὡς κονίαν λεπτήν καὶ οὐ μὴ μείνη̨ τὰ δένδρα αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰ εἴδωλα αὐτω̃ν ἐκκεκομμένα ὥσπερ δρυμὸς μακράν (Ⅲ) - Idcirco super hoc dimittetur iniquitas domui Jacob ;/ et iste omnis fructus : ut auferatur peccatum ejus,/ cum posuerit omnes lapides altaris/ sicut lapides cineris allisos :/ non stabunt luci et delubra./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃27 לכן בזאת יכפר עון יעקב וזה כל פרי הסר חטאתו בשומו כל אבני מזבח כאבני גר מנפצות לא יקמו אשרים וחמנים (Ⅴ)

Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
- Car la ville forte est solitaire, C'est une demeure délaissée et abandonnée comme le désert; Là pâture le veau, il s'y couche, et broute les branches. (Ⅱ) - τὸ κατοικούμενον ποίμνιον ἀνειμένον ἔσται ὡς ποίμνιον καταλελειμμένον καὶ ἔσται πολὺν χρόνον εἰς βόσκημα καὶ ἐκει̃ ἀναπαύσονται (Ⅲ) - Civitas enim munita desolata erit ;/ speciosa relinquetur, et dimittetur quasi desertum ;/ ibi pascetur vitulus,/ et ibi accubabit, et consumet summitates ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃27 כי עיר בצורה בדד נוה משלח ונעזב כמדבר שם ירעה עגל ושם ירבץ וכלה סעפיה (Ⅴ)

When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.
- Quand les rameaux sèchent, on les brise; Des femmes viennent, pour les brûler. C'était un peuple sans intelligence: Aussi celui qui l'a fait n'a point eu pitié de lui, Celui qui l'a formé ne lui a point fait grâce. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μετὰ χρόνον οὐκ ἔσται ἐν αὐτη̨̃ πα̃ν χλωρὸν διὰ τὸ ξηρανθη̃ναι γυναι̃κες ἐρχόμεναι ἀπὸ θέας δευ̃τε οὐ γὰρ λαός ἐστιν ἔχων σύνεσιν διὰ του̃το οὐ μὴ οἰκτιρήση̨ ὁ ποιήσας αὐτούς οὐδὲ ὁ πλάσας αὐτοὺς οὐ μὴ ἐλεήση̨ (Ⅲ) - In siccitate messes illius conterentur./ Mulieres venientes, et docentes eam ;/ non est enim populus sapiens :/ propterea non miserebitur ejus qui fecit eum,/ et qui formavit eum non parcet ei./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃27 ביבש קצירה תשברנה נשים באות מאירות אותה כי לא עם בינות הוא על כן לא ירחמנו עשהו ויצרו לא יחננו ס (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
- En ce temps-là, L'Éternel secouera des fruits, Depuis le cours du fleuve jusqu'au torrent d'Égypte; Et vous serez ramassés un à un, enfants d'Israël! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ συμφράξει κύριος ἀπὸ τη̃ς διώρυγος του̃ ποταμου̃ ἕως 'Ρινοκορούρων ὑμει̃ς δὲ συναγάγετε τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ κατὰ ἕνα ἕνα (Ⅲ) - Et erit : in die illa/ percutiet Dominus/ ab alveo fluminis usque ad torrentem Ægypti ;/ et vos congregabimini unus et unus, filii Israël./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃27 והיה ביום ההוא יחבט יהוה משבלת הנהר עד נחל מצרים ואתם תלקטו לאחד אחד בני ישראל ס (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
- En ce jour, on sonnera de la grande trompette, Et alors reviendront ceux qui étaient exilés au pays d'Assyrie Ou fugitifs au pays d'Égypte; Et ils se prosterneront devant l'Éternel, Sur la montagne sainte, à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ σαλπιου̃σιν τη̨̃ σάλπιγγι τη̨̃ μεγάλη̨ καὶ ἥξουσιν οἱ ἀπολόμενοι ἐν τη̨̃ χώρα̨ τω̃ν 'Ασσυρίων καὶ οἱ ἀπολόμενοι ἐν Αἰγύπτω̨ καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἅγιον ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ) - Et erit : in die illa clangetur in tuba magna ;/ et venient qui perditi fuerant de terra Assyriorum,/ et qui ejecti erant in terra Ægypti,/ et adorabunt Dominum/ in monte sancto in Jerusalem.] (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃27 והיה ביום ההוא יתקע בשופר גדול ובאו האבדים בארץ אשור והנדחים בארץ מצרים והשתחוו ליהוה בהר הקדש בירושלם (Ⅴ)
