Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.
- Joseph ne pouvait plus se contenir devant tous ceux qui l'entouraient. Il s'écria: Faites sortir tout le monde. Et il ne resta personne avec Joseph, quand il se fit connaître à ses frères. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐκ ἠδύνατο Ιωσηφ ἀνέχεσθαι πάντων τω̃ν παρεστηκότων αὐτω̨̃ ἀλλ' εἰ̃πεν ἐξαποστείλατε πάντας ἀπ' ἐμου̃ καὶ οὐ παρειστήκει οὐδεὶς ἔτι τω̨̃ Ιωσηφ ἡνίκα ἀνεγνωρίζετο τοι̃ς ἀδελφοι̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Non se poterat ultra cohibere Joseph multis coram astantibus : unde præcepit ut egrederentur cuncti foras, et nullus interesset alienus agnitioni mutuæ. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃45 ולא יכל יוסף להתאפק לכל הנצבים עליו ויקרא הוציאו כל איש מעלי ולא עמד איש אתו בהתודע יוסף אל אחיו (Ⅴ)

And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.
- Il éleva la voix, en pleurant. Les Égyptiens l'entendirent, et la maison de Pharaon l'entendit. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀφη̃κεν φωνὴν μετὰ κλαυθμου̃ ἤκουσαν δὲ πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι καὶ ἀκουστὸν ἐγένετο εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κον Φαραω (Ⅲ) - Elevavitque vocem cum fletu, quam audierunt Ægyptii, omnisque domus Pharaonis. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃45 ויתן את קלו בבכי וישמעו מצרים וישמע בית פרעה (Ⅴ)

And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.
- Joseph dit à ses frères: Je suis Joseph! Mon père vit-il encore? Mais ses frères ne purent lui répondre, car ils étaient troublés en sa présence. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ιωσηφ πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτου̃ ἐγώ εἰμι Ιωσηφ ἔτι ὁ πατήρ μου ζη̨̃ καὶ οὐκ ἐδύναντο οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ἀποκριθη̃ναι αὐτω̨̃ ἐταράχθησαν γάρ (Ⅲ) - Et dixit fratribus suis : Ego sum Joseph : adhuc pater meus vivit ? Non poterant respondere fratres nimio terrore perterriti. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃45 ויאמר יוסף אל אחיו אני יוסף העוד אבי חי ולא יכלו אחיו לענות אתו כי נבהלו מפניו (Ⅴ)

And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
- Joseph dit à ses frères: Approchez-vous de moi. Et ils s'approchèrent. Il dit: Je suis Joseph, votre frère, que vous avez vendu pour être mené en Égypte. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ιωσηφ πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτου̃ ἐγγίσατε πρός με καὶ ἤγγισαν καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἐγώ εἰμι Ιωσηφ ὁ ἀδελφὸς ὑμω̃ν ὃν ἀπέδοσθε εἰς Αἴγυπτον (Ⅲ) - Ad quos ille clementer : Accedite, inquit, ad me. Et cum accessissent prope : Ego sum, ait, Joseph, frater vester, quem vendidistis in Ægyptum. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃45 ויאמר יוסף אל אחיו גשו נא אלי ויגשו ויאמר אני יוסף אחיכם אשר מכרתם אתי מצרימה (Ⅴ)

Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
- Maintenant, ne vous affligez pas, et ne soyez pas fâchés de m'avoir vendu pour être conduit ici, car c'est pour vous sauver la vie que Dieu m'a envoyé devant vous. (Ⅱ) - νυ̃ν οὐ̃ν μὴ λυπει̃σθε μηδὲ σκληρὸν ὑμι̃ν φανήτω ὅτι ἀπέδοσθέ με ὡ̃δε εἰς γὰρ ζωὴν ἀπέστειλέν με ὁ θεὸς ἔμπροσθεν ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Nolite pavere, neque vobis durum esse videatur quod vendidistis me in his regionibus : pro salute enim vestra misit me Deus ante vos in Ægyptum. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃45 ועתה אל תעצבו ואל יחר בעיניכם כי מכרתם אתי הנה כי למחיה שלחני אלהים לפניכם (Ⅴ)

For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
- Voilà deux ans que la famine est dans le pays; et pendant cinq années encore, il n'y aura ni labour, ni moisson. (Ⅱ) - του̃το γὰρ δεύτερον ἔτος λιμὸς ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἔτι λοιπὰ πέντε ἔτη ἐν οἱ̃ς οὐκ ἔσται ἀροτρίασις οὐδὲ ἄμητος (Ⅲ) - Biennium est enim quod cœpit fames esse in terra : et adhuc quinque anni restant, quibus nec arari poterit, nec meti. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃45 כי זה שנתים הרעב בקרב הארץ ועוד חמש שנים אשר אין חריש וקציר[1] (Ⅴ)

And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
- Dieu m'a envoyé devant vous pour vous faire subsister dans le pays, et pour vous faire vivre par une grande délivrance. (Ⅱ) - ἀπέστειλεν γάρ με ὁ θεὸς ἔμπροσθεν ὑμω̃ν ὑπολείπεσθαι ὑμω̃ν κατάλειμμα ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἐκθρέψαι ὑμω̃ν κατάλειψιν μεγάλην (Ⅲ) - Præmisitque me Deus ut reservemini super terram, et escas ad vivendum habere possitis. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃45 וישלחני אלהים לפניכם לשום לכם שארית בארץ ולהחיות לכם לפליטה גדלה (Ⅴ)

So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
- Ce n'est donc pas vous qui m'avez envoyé ici, mais c'est Dieu; il m'a établi père de Pharaon, maître de toute sa maison, et gouverneur de tout le pays d'Égypte. (Ⅱ) - νυ̃ν οὐ̃ν οὐχ ὑμει̃ς με ἀπεστάλκατε ὡ̃δε ἀλλ' ἢ ὁ θεός καὶ ἐποίησέν με ὡς πατέρα Φαραω καὶ κύριον παντὸς του̃ οἴκου αὐτου̃ καὶ ἄρχοντα πάσης γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ) - Non vestro consilio, sed Dei voluntate huc missus sum : qui fecit me quasi patrem Pharaonis, et dominum universæ domus ejus, ac principem in omni terra Ægypti. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃45 ועתה לא אתם שלחתם אתי הנה כי האלהים וישימני לאב לפרעה ולאדון לכל ביתו ומשל בכל ארץ מצרים (Ⅴ)

Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not:
- Hâtez-vous de remonter auprès de mon père, et vous lui direz: Ainsi a parlé ton fils Joseph: Dieu m'a établi seigneur de toute l'Égypte; descends vers moi, ne tarde pas! (Ⅱ) - σπεύσαντες οὐ̃ν ἀνάβητε πρὸς τὸν πατέρα μου καὶ εἴπατε αὐτω̨̃ τάδε λέγει ὁ υἱός σου Ιωσηφ ἐποίησέν με ὁ θεὸς κύριον πάσης γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου κατάβηθι οὐ̃ν πρός με καὶ μὴ μείνη̨ς (Ⅲ) - Festinate, et ascendite ad patrem meum, et dicetis ei : Hæc mandat filius tuus Joseph : Deus fecit me dominum universæ terræ Ægypti : descende ad me, ne moreris, (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃45 מהרו ועלו אל אבי ואמרתם אליו כה אמר בנך יוסף שמני אלהים לאדון לכל מצרים רדה אלי אל תעמד (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy children, and thy children's children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that thou hast:
- Tu habiteras dans le pays de Gosen, et tu seras près de moi, toi, tes fils, et les fils de tes fils, tes brebis et tes boeufs, et tout ce qui est à toi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατοικήσεις ἐν γη̨̃ Γεσεμ 'Αραβίας καὶ ἔση̨ ἐγγύς μου σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν σου τὰ πρόβατά σου καὶ αἱ βόες σου καὶ ὅσα σοί ἐστιν (Ⅲ) - et habitabis in terra Gessen : erisque juxta me tu, et filii tui, et filii filiorum tuorum, oves tuæ, et armenta tua, et universa quæ possides : (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃45 וישבת בארץ גשן והיית קרוב אלי אתה ובניך ובני בניך וצאנך ובקרך וכל אשר לך (Ⅴ)

And there will I nourish thee; for yet there are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast, come to poverty.
- Là, je te nourrirai, car il y aura encore cinq années de famine; et ainsi tu ne périras point, toi, ta maison, et tout ce qui est à toi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκθρέψω σε ἐκει̃ ἔτι γὰρ πέντε ἔτη λιμός ἵνα μὴ ἐκτριβη̨̃ς σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντά σου (Ⅲ) - ibique te pascam (adhuc enim quinque anni residui sunt famis) ne et tu pereas, et domus tua, et omnia quæ possides. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃45 וכלכלתי אתך שם כי עוד חמש שנים רעב פן תורש אתה וביתך וכל אשר לך (Ⅴ)

And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaketh unto you.
- Vous voyez de vos yeux, et mon frère Benjamin voit de ses yeux que c'est moi-même qui vous parle. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ὑμω̃ν βλέπουσιν καὶ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ Βενιαμιν του̃ ἀδελφου̃ μου ὅτι τὸ στόμα μου τὸ λαλου̃ν πρὸς ὑμα̃ς (Ⅲ) - En oculi vestri, et oculi fratris mei Benjamin, vident quod os meum loquatur ad vos. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃45 והנה עיניכם ראות ועיני אחי בנימין כי פי המדבר אליכם (Ⅴ)

And ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen; and ye shall haste and bring down my father hither.
- Racontez à mon père toute ma gloire en Égypte, et tout ce que vous avez vu; et vous ferez descendre ici mon père au plus tôt. (Ⅱ) - ἀπαγγείλατε οὐ̃ν τω̨̃ πατρί μου πα̃σαν τὴν δόξαν μου τὴν ἐν Αἰγύπτω̨ καὶ ὅσα εἴδετε καὶ ταχύναντες καταγάγετε τὸν πατέρα μου ὡ̃δε (Ⅲ) - Nuntiate patri meo universam gloriam meam, et cuncta quæ vidistis in Ægypto : festinate, et adducite eum ad me. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃45 והגדתם לאבי את כל כבודי במצרים ואת כל אשר ראיתם ומהרתם והורדתם את אבי הנה (Ⅴ)

And he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck, and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck.
- Il se jeta au cou de Benjamin, son frère, et pleura; et Benjamin pleura sur son cou. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπιπεσὼν ἐπὶ τὸν τράχηλον Βενιαμιν του̃ ἀδελφου̃ αὐτου̃ ἔκλαυσεν ἐπ' αὐτω̨̃ καὶ Βενιαμιν ἔκλαυσεν ἐπὶ τω̨̃ τραχήλω̨ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Cumque amplexatus recidisset in collum Benjamin fratris sui, flevit : illo quoque similiter flente super collum ejus. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃45 ויפל על צוארי בנימן אחיו ויבך ובנימן בכה על צואריו (Ⅴ)

Moreover he kissed all his brethren, and wept upon them: and after that his brethren talked with him.
- Il embrassa aussi tous ses frères, en pleurant. Après quoi, ses frères s'entretinrent avec lui. (Ⅱ) - καὶ καταφιλήσας πάντας τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτου̃ ἔκλαυσεν ἐπ' αὐτοι̃ς καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα ἐλάλησαν οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτου̃ πρὸς αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - Osculatusque est Joseph omnes fratres suos, et ploravit super singulos : post quæ ausi sunt loqui ad eum. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃45 וינשק לכל אחיו ויבך עליהם ואחרי כן דברו אחיו אתו (Ⅴ)

And the fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brethren are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
- Le bruit se répandit dans la maison de Pharaon que les frères de Joseph étaient arrivés: ce qui fut agréable à Pharaon et à ses serviteurs. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διεβοήθη ἡ φωνὴ εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κον Φαραω λέγοντες ἥκασιν οἱ ἀδελφοὶ Ιωσηφ ἐχάρη δὲ Φαραω καὶ ἡ θεραπεία αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Auditumque est, et celebri sermone vulgatum in aula regis : Venerunt fratres Joseph : et gavisus est Pharao, atque omnis familia ejus. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃45 והקל נשמע בית פרעה לאמר באו אחי יוסף וייטב בעיני פרעה ובעיני עבדיו (Ⅴ)

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brethren, This do ye; lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan;
- Pharaon dit à Joseph: Dis à tes frères: Faites ceci. Chargez vos bêtes, et partez pour le pays de Canaan; (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ Φαραω πρὸς Ιωσηφ εἰπὸν τοι̃ς ἀδελφοι̃ς σου του̃το ποιήσατε γεμίσατε τὰ πορει̃α ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἀπέλθατε εἰς γη̃ν Χανααν (Ⅲ) - Dixitque ad Joseph ut imperaret fratribus suis, dicens : Onerantes jumenta, ite in terram Chanaan, (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃45 ויאמר פרעה אל יוסף אמר אל אחיך זאת עשו טענו את בעירכם ולכו באו ארצה כנען (Ⅴ)

And take your father and your households, and come unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land.
- prenez votre père et vos familles, et venez auprès de moi. Je vous donnerai ce qu'il y a de meilleur au pays d'Égypte, et vous mangerez la graisse du pays. (Ⅱ) - καὶ παραλαβόντες τὸν πατέρα ὑμω̃ν καὶ τὰ ὑπάρχοντα ὑμω̃ν ἥκετε πρός με καὶ δώσω ὑμι̃ν πάντων τω̃ν ἀγαθω̃ν Αἰγύπτου καὶ φάγεσθε τὸν μυελὸν τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - et tollite inde patrem vestrum et cognationem, et venite ad me : et ego dabo vobis omnia bona Ægypti, ut comedatis medullam terræ. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃45 וקחו את אביכם ואת בתיכם ובאו אלי ואתנה לכם את טוב ארץ מצרים ואכלו את חלב הארץ (Ⅴ)

Now thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
- Tu as ordre de leur dire: Faites ceci. Prenez dans le pays d'Égypte des chars pour vos enfants et pour vos femmes; amenez votre père, et venez. (Ⅱ) - σὺ δὲ ἔντειλαι ταυ̃τα λαβει̃ν αὐτοι̃ς ἁμάξας ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου τοι̃ς παιδίοις ὑμω̃ν καὶ ται̃ς γυναιξίν καὶ ἀναλαβόντες τὸν πατέρα ὑμω̃ν παραγίνεσθε (Ⅲ) - Præcipe etiam ut tollant plaustra de terra Ægypti, ad subvectionem parvulorum suorum ac conjugum : et dicito : Tollite patrem vestrum, et properate quantocius venientes. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃45 ואתה צויתה זאת עשו קחו לכם מארץ מצרים עגלות לטפכם ולנשיכם ונשאתם את אביכם ובאתם (Ⅴ)

Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours.
- Ne regrettez point ce que vous laisserez, car ce qu'il a de meilleur dans tout le pays d'Égypte sera pour vous. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μὴ φείσησθε τοι̃ς ὀφθαλμοι̃ς τω̃ν σκευω̃ν ὑμω̃ν τὰ γὰρ πάντα ἀγαθὰ Αἰγύπτου ὑμι̃ν ἔσται (Ⅲ) - Nec dimittatis quidquam de supellectili vestra : quia omnes opes Ægypti vestræ erunt.\ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃45 ועינכם אל תחס על כליכם כי טוב כל ארץ מצרים לכם הוא (Ⅴ)

And the children of Israel did so: and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.
- Les fils d'Israël firent ainsi. Joseph leur donna des chars, selon l'ordre de Pharaon; il leur donna aussi des provisions pour la route. (Ⅱ) - ἐποίησαν δὲ οὕτως οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἔδωκεν δὲ Ιωσηφ αὐτοι̃ς ἁμάξας κατὰ τὰ εἰρημένα ὑπὸ Φαραω του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοι̃ς ἐπισιτισμὸν εἰς τὴν ὁδόν (Ⅲ) - Feceruntque filii Israël ut eis mandatum fuerat. Quibus dedit Joseph plaustra, secundum Pharaonis imperium, et cibaria in itinere. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃45 ויעשו כן בני ישראל ויתן להם יוסף עגלות על פי פרעה ויתן להם צדה לדרך (Ⅴ)

To all of them he gave each man changes of raiment; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of raiment.
- Il leur donna à tous des vêtements de rechange, et il donna à Benjamin trois cents sicles d'argent et cinq vêtements de rechange. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πα̃σιν ἔδωκεν δισσὰς στολάς τω̨̃ δὲ Βενιαμιν ἔδωκεν τριακοσίους χρυσου̃ς καὶ πέντε ἐξαλλασσούσας στολάς (Ⅲ) - Singulis quoque proferri jussit binas stolas : Benjamin vero dedit trecentos argenteos cum quinque stolis optimis : (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃45 לכלם נתן לאיש חלפות שמלת ולבנימן נתן שלש מאות כסף וחמש חלפת שמלת (Ⅴ)

And to his father he sent after this manner; ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten she asses laden with corn and bread and meat for his father by the way.
- Il envoya à son père dix ânes chargés de ce qu'il y avait de meilleur en Égypte, et dix ânesses chargées de blé, de pain et de vivres, pour son père pendant le voyage. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τω̨̃ πατρὶ αὐτου̃ ἀπέστειλεν κατὰ τὰ αὐτὰ καὶ δέκα ὄνους αἴροντας ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν ἀγαθω̃ν Αἰγύπτου καὶ δέκα ἡμιόνους αἰρούσας ἄρτους τω̨̃ πατρὶ αὐτου̃ εἰς ὁδόν (Ⅲ) - tantumdem pecuniæ et vestium mittens patri suo, addens et asinos decem, qui subveherent ex omnibus divitiis Ægypti, et totidem asinas, triticum in itinere, panesque portantes. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃45 ולאביו שלח כזאת עשרה חמרים נשאים מטוב מצרים ועשר אתנת נשאת בר ולחם ומזון לאביו לדרך (Ⅴ)

So he sent his brethren away, and they departed: and he said unto them, See that ye fall not out by the way.
- Puis il congédia ses frères, qui partirent; et il leur dit: Ne vous querellez pas en chemin. (Ⅱ) - ἐξαπέστειλεν δὲ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς μὴ ὀργίζεσθε ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Dimisit ergo fratres suos, et proficiscentibus ait : Ne irascamini in via. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃45 וישלח את אחיו וילכו ויאמר אלהם אל תרגזו בדרך (Ⅴ)

And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father,
- Ils remontèrent de l'Égypte, et ils arrivèrent dans le pays de Canaan, auprès de Jacob, leur père. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνέβησαν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἠ̃λθον εἰς γη̃ν Χανααν πρὸς Ιακωβ τὸν πατέρα αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Qui ascendentes ex Ægypto, venerunt in terram Chanaan ad patrem suum Jacob. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃45 ויעלו ממצרים ויבאו ארץ כנען אל יעקב אביהם (Ⅴ)

And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not.
- Ils lui dirent: Joseph vit encore, et même c'est lui qui gouverne tout le pays d'Égypte. Mais le coeur de Jacob resta froid, parce qu'il ne les croyait pas. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνήγγειλαν αὐτω̨̃ λέγοντες ὅτι ὁ υἱός σου Ιωσηφ ζη̨̃ καὶ αὐτὸς ἄρχει πάσης γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐξέστη ἡ διάνοια Ιακωβ οὐ γὰρ ἐπίστευσεν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et nuntiaverunt ei, dicentes : Joseph filius tuus vivit : et ipse dominatur in omni terra Ægypti. Quo audito Jacob, quasi de gravi somno evigilans, tamen non credebat eis. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃45 ויגדו לו לאמר עוד יוסף חי וכי הוא משל בכל ארץ מצרים ויפג לבו כי לא האמין להם (Ⅴ)

And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:
- Ils lui rapportèrent toutes les paroles que Joseph leur avait dites. Il vit les chars que Joseph avait envoyés pour le transporter. C'est alors que l'esprit de Jacob, leur père, se ranima; (Ⅱ) - ἐλάλησαν δὲ αὐτω̨̃ πάντα τὰ ῥηθέντα ὑπὸ Ιωσηφ ὅσα εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς ἰδὼν δὲ τὰς ἁμάξας ἃς ἀπέστειλεν Ιωσηφ ὥστε ἀναλαβει̃ν αὐτόν ἀνεζωπύρησεν τὸ πνευ̃μα Ιακωβ του̃ πατρὸς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Illi e contra referebant omnem ordinem rei. Cumque vidisset plaustra et universa quæ miserat, revixit spiritus ejus, (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃45 וידברו אליו את כל דברי יוסף אשר דבר אלהם וירא את העגלות אשר שלח יוסף לשאת אתו ותחי רוח יעקב אביהם (Ⅴ)

And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.
- et Israël dit: C'est assez! Joseph, mon fils, vit encore! J'irai, et je le verrai avant que je meure. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ Ισραηλ μέγα μοί ἐστιν εἰ ἔτι Ιωσηφ ὁ υἱός μου ζη̨̃ πορευθεὶς ὄψομαι αὐτὸν πρὸ του̃ ἀποθανει̃ν με (Ⅲ) - et ait : Sufficit mihi si adhuc Joseph filius meus vivit : vadam, et videbo illum antequam moriar. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃45 ויאמר ישראל רב עוד יוסף בני חי אלכה ואראנו בטרם אמות (Ⅴ)
