I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
- Cantique des degrés. Je lève mes yeux vers les montagnes... D'où me viendra le secours? (Ⅱ) - ὠ̨δὴ τω̃ν ἀναβαθμω̃ν ἠ̃ρα τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου εἰς τὰ ὄρη πόθεν ἥξει ἡ βοήθειά μου (Ⅲ) - Canticum graduum. [Levavi oculos meos in montes,/ unde veniet auxilium mihi./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃121 שיר למעלות אשא עיני אל ההרים מאין יבא עזרי (Ⅴ)

My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
- Le secours me vient de l'Éternel, Qui a fait les cieux et la terre. (Ⅱ) - ἡ βοήθειά μου παρὰ κυρίου του̃ ποιήσαντος τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅲ) - Auxilium meum a Domino,/ qui fecit cælum et terram./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃121 עזרי מעם יהוה עשה שמים וארץ (Ⅴ)

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
- Il ne permettra point que ton pied chancelle; Celui qui te garde ne sommeillera point. (Ⅱ) - μὴ δω̨̃ς εἰς σάλον τὸν πόδα σου μηδὲ νυστάξη̨ ὁ φυλάσσων σε (Ⅲ) - Non det in commotionem pedem tuum,/ neque dormitet qui custodit te./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃121 אל יתן למוט רגלך אל ינום שמרך (Ⅴ)

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
- Voici, il ne sommeille ni ne dort, Celui qui garde Israël. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ οὐ νυστάξει οὐδὲ ὑπνώσει ὁ φυλάσσων τὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Ecce non dormitabit neque dormiet/ qui custodit Israël./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃121 הנה לא ינום ולא יישן שומר ישראל (Ⅴ)

The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
- L'Éternel est celui qui te garde, L'Éternel est ton ombre à ta main droite. (Ⅱ) - κύριος φυλάξει σε κύριος σκέπη σου ἐπὶ χει̃ρα δεξιάν σου (Ⅲ) - Dominus custodit te ;/ Dominus protectio tua super manum dexteram tuam./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃121 יהוה שמרך יהוה צלך על יד ימינך (Ⅴ)

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
- Pendant le jour le soleil ne te frappera point, Ni la lune pendant la nuit. (Ⅱ) - ἡμέρας ὁ ἥλιος οὐ συγκαύσει σε οὐδὲ ἡ σελήνη τὴν νύκτα (Ⅲ) - Per diem sol non uret te,/ neque luna per noctem./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃121 יומם השמש לא יככה וירח בלילה (Ⅴ)

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
- L'Éternel te gardera de tout mal, Il gardera ton âme; (Ⅱ) - κύριος φυλάξει σε ἀπὸ παντὸς κακου̃ φυλάξει τὴν ψυχήν σου (Ⅲ) - Dominus custodit te ab omni malo ;/ custodiat animam tuam Dominus./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃121 יהוה ישמרך מכל רע ישמר את נפשך (Ⅴ)

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
- L'Éternel gardera ton départ et ton arrivée, Dès maintenant et à jamais. (Ⅱ) - κύριος φυλάξει τὴν εἴσοδόν σου καὶ τὴν ἔξοδόν σου ἀπὸ του̃ νυ̃ν καὶ ἕως του̃ αἰω̃νος (Ⅲ) - Dominus custodiat introitum tuum et exitum tuum,/ ex hoc nunc et usque in sæculum.] (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃121 יהוה ישמר צאתך ובואך מעתה ועד עולם (Ⅴ)
